Gu Chaoyan looked at Gu Ruxue who still seemed to be in a daze. “What are you doing here, Second Sister?”
“How dare you?” Before Gu Ruxue was able to respond, her maid walked up to her and wanted to slap Gu Chaoyan.
Gu Chaoyan frowned slightly. Grabbing hold of the maid’s hand, she broke it easily. The bone was snapped in a fluid motion.
The servant girl started howling in pain as she held her hand. “How dare you slap me, you hideous weirdo?”
But she did not dare to take another step forward. That move had already brought her so much pain that her face turned completely pale.
Gu Chaoyan looked at the ferocious girl. “Qing, slap her!”
Qing hesitated for a moment but soon she went up and slapped three times on the girl’s face.

Gu Ruxue felt frustrated. Had she brought some more people with her, she would not have fallen into such an awkward position. She looked at Gu Chaoyan fiercely. “I will tell father and grandma about you hitting me!”
Gu Chaoyan shrugged. She did not really care.
She went back to the chair and sat down, closing her eyes to enjoy the warm suns.h.i.+ne.
She threw a disdainful look at Gu Ruxue. “Get out of here if you have nothing more to say. I want some peace.”
Gu Ruxue suddenly burst into laughter. She needed to take revenge for what this girl did to her just now. But she had another purpose in coming here. “Gu Chaoyan, you may not have heard yet...”
