Chapter 539: Exotic G.o.ddesses
Ling Ping’an finally found a good place to take photos!
A fountain at the foot of a rockery.
He sat down and placed his cat on the statue on top of the fountain. Then, he took out his phone and posed.
First, he looked up at the sky at a 45-degree angle, revealing a slightly sad pose.
Then, he would pose like an intellectual holding his chin and thinking.
Then, he would do a domineering CEO with a devilish smile.
Snap, snap.
He took more than a dozen photos in a row.
And his cat always cooperated appropriately.
After taking the photos, he opened the photo alb.u.m and began to browse through his results.
“Huh?” He frowned and turned his head to look at Bastet, who was lying on the arm of the maid sculpture lying in the fountain.
He rubbed his eyes, “What’s going on?”
A supernatural event had happened in his photo alb.u.m.
The kitten, which was supposed to be lying on the sculpture, had somehow become a naked girl with black hair.
The girl had beautiful amber eyes.
Her skin was as white as white jade.
Her body was exquisite.
Her long black hair covered her body.
A small face full of exotic charm looked ahead lazily.
Strands of black hair slightly covered the small face.
Mysterious and charming, they complimented each other
It was as if in the magnificent Tang Dynasty, the exotic G.o.ddesses who had attracted the souls of countless scholars and flirtatious people had walked from that distant time to the modern era.
Ling Ping’an could not help but think of a poem, “The people by the side are like the moon, their white wrists are like frost and snow.”
He blinked his eyes and shook his head in panic.
Meow!
Bastet seemed to have sensed something and jumped from the sculpture into his arms.
The kitten curled up gently on his chest.
The girl in the photo had disappeared without anyone noticing.
Lying on the sculpture was a completely black kitten.
Ling Ping’an took a deep breath.
“Did I just hallucinate?”
His hand gently stroked the soft fur of the kitten in his arms.
It was as smooth as silk.
The little kitten was very obedient. Its body was as soft as soft jade.
Faintly, he could smell a fragrance that seeped into his heart.
Ling Ping’an used a little strength. For some reason, he thought of Li Yu’s words.
“The Moon is bright and the fog is light. Tonight, I will go to my husband’s side…”
The cat in his arms leaned on his chest obediently.
It was like an obedient girl lying on his chest docilely.
“Walking on the steps of incense, carrying golden shoes…”
Its two front claws were like two delicate hands, grabbing Ling Ping’an’s clothes.
“See you at the south side of the painting hall, always trembling when you snuggle…”
Ling Ping’an chanted softly.
He lowered his head to look at the kitten in his arms.
In a trance, he seemed to see an exotic girl who raised her head slightly. Her face was shy, but she was extremely charming.
He smiled.
Holding his pet, he shook his head, “Am I actually feeling l.u.s.tful?”
“Too much hormone secretion. Even a cat turned into a woman in my eyes!”
He carefully looked at his phone’s photo alb.u.m again.
There was no problem.
Then he looked at the cat in his arms. It was normal.
So…
Was it really because of l.u.s.t?
He thought, “Should I try dating someone?”
Even though he had face blindness and couldn’t understand beauty and ugliness.
But there was nothing wrong with trying!
With this thought in mind, he held his pet and slowly began to walk back.
When he followed the sign and walked to the door where he first came in.
He saw a collapsed building.
Maintenance workers were working there.
Many people were watching the bustle around.
Ling Ping’an couldn’t help but ask a pa.s.serby, “What happened here?”
That person replied, “I don’t know… I only know that a pavilion had suddenly collapsed…”
“A person was almost buried!”
Ling Ping’an looked at the place where the incident happened.
There, a large pit appeared.
The surroundings of the pit were filled with powder-like things.
He felt that he had seen this place somewhere before.
His memories began to flashback.
He remembered.
He seemed to have made a slas.h.i.+ng action at that place when he entered the door.
“I did it?” He was puzzled, but then he shook his head, “How is that possible!”
“If I could cause such damage with just a casual slash…”
“Then, wouldn’t this world have been shattered by me long ago?”
Since he was young, he had done many naughty things?
So…
“It’s probably the internal affairs department who took other people’s benefits and created such a lousy project!” He thought.
However, the people around him were all pointing and having discussions.
“This must be the work of ghosts and G.o.ds, right?” Someone guessed.
“I think it’s the members of the Long Group who were fighting with the demons here!” Someone said with certainty, “The aftermath of the fight between the two sides destroyed the place!”
“I think it’s the anti-matter cannon fired by the aliens!” Someone said, “The aliens are trying to intimidate us!”
Ling Ping’an listened to these discussions. He hugged his cat guiltily and quietly slipped away.
…
Ling Ping’an returned to his room and put Bastet down.
Then, he sat on a chair by the window with lingering fear.
He opened his phone photo alb.u.m and confirmed once again.
The girl was not in the photo.
He thought for a moment and then shouted to Bastet who was lying at his feet, “Little darling…”
The kitten immediately stood up and jumped into his arms.
Ling Ping’an grabbed the kitten’s two claws and looked at its cute appearance.
He carefully examined it from top to bottom and finally confirmed that it was a cat!
But…
His memory was extremely deep.
The image of the girl in the photo flashed in his mind.
The naked girl with jet-black hair wrapped around her body.
She was full of exotic charm, so charming that even he was moved.
“Wait…” Ling Ping’an blinked his eyes, “Am I not face-blind?”
“Why would I think that ‘she’ was good-looking?”
“Is it because I’ve been single for a long time and have too much hormone secretion, so my brain created the image of a ‘beauty’?” He thought of the psychological books he had read and a.n.a.lyzed himself.
“But that’s not right!”
“And…”
“That collapsed pavilion…”
He put down Bastet and stretched out his hand to look at it. It was very clean and white.
The sunlight fell on his hand.
It reflected the colorful colors.
In his daze, he seemed to see that there was light lingering between his fingers.
It was like a line.
There seemed to be a whisper in his ears.
Crack crack crack…
Bang Bang Bang…
It sounded like something he had heard in a dream.
It seemed to be an electromagnetic signal of a certain frequency, and it also seemed to be the sound of celestial bodies.
He couldn’t help but look out of the window, slightly raised his head, and looked at the sky.
The blue sky and white clouds seemed to be seen through by his eyes.
In the vast starry sky, countless stars were flickering.
The stars in the sky seemed to respond to his gaze.
Everything seemed to be moving with him as the center.
At this moment, he seemed to see the moment when the universe was born.
Countless gigantic celestial bodies appeared from countless nebulae.
As soon as these celestial bodies appeared, they used their enormous gravity to continuously suck in the surrounding gas, distort matter, and release endless cosmic rays.
These rays bombarded the entire universe.
In his daze, Ling Ping’an saw countless tentacles waving wildly on the surface of these celestial bodies.
The accretion disks of these terrifying celestial bodies were formed by these tentacles.
Countless gases were swallowed by them.
The enormous accretion disks became incomparably hot and bright!
Thus, time began to flow, and the embryonic form of s.p.a.ce also appeared.
Seeing this, Ling Ping’an felt a severe headache.
He quickly lowered his head and pressed it down.
“What’s wrong with me?” He asked himself.
He felt that his current situation was very abnormal.
But in his heart, there was a devilish voice whispering, “No…”
“What I saw just now was real!”
“Everything in the past was just an illusion!”
“A fake world that was disguised by something called matter!”
“This world is an island built by the minds of ignorant mortals!”
“And they will never have the courage to face the truth!”
“They shouldn’t face the truth either!”
…
At the astronomical observatory in the Imperial Capital.
On the screen, the many deep-s.p.a.ce radio telescopes launched by the Federal Empire into outer s.p.a.ce were routinely transmitting their observation data to the ground.
Rows and rows of data were being processed by the supercomputer.
Images began to appear on the computer screen.
Those were the cosmic microwave background photos sent back by the radio telescope.
Suddenly, a researcher looked at a picture of the universe that had just been taken and was so shocked that his fingers began to tremble.
“This…”
“This…”
“Chief!”
“Look!”
He gulped and pointed to a picture on the screen.
It was a picture that ordinary people couldn’t understand.
The photo was densely packed with blue and red and yellow dots.
However, the specialized research staff, was able to detect the anomalies.
It was exactly what the researcher sees.
The entire universe was reds.h.i.+fted.
And the direction of the reds.h.i.+ft was already extremely clear.
It was Earth!
It was as if a huge gravitational source had appeared on earth that could affect the entire universe.
This gravitational source was tearing the entire universe apart.
Causing a reds.h.i.+ft spectrum!
The director of the observatory immediately rushed over. He looked at the photo and took a deep breath.
Then, he gave an order, “Send the command, let Zhang Hengjia change the direction…”
“Take a picture of Earth!”
Then, a researcher immediately entered the command.
In outer s.p.a.ce, the huge Zhang Hengjia radio telescope slowly turned around.
The latest planetary camera on it was activated.
The spectrograph went into working mode, and the celestial object a.n.a.lyzer was activated.
This masterpiece of mankind’s most advanced technology was aimed at the home planet that made it.
A photo was taken.
Rows of data were sent back to earth, and with the help of a supercomputer, it was restored into an image.
The spectrum of the earth, the gravity of the earth, began to appear.
But…
What people saw was just illegible content.
The entire screen was filled with scrambled codes!
Not only that, the screen had started to flash.
All the instruments and lights in the whole observatory began to flash.
People panicked.
But, after a few seconds, everything returned to normal.
The data appeared on the screen again.
Now, all the data was normal.
The Earth was still the same Earth.
The Earth is observed in the real world.
But, everyone understood that everything was different.
