Chapter 219: Dealing a Heavy Blow to the Oriental Cultivators
“Not even those at Celestial Realm could put up such a display of power.” The Dragon was very shocked after seeing Lu Xuan’s performance, as what he pulled was far beyond that of Celestial Realm cultivators ill.u.s.trated in ancient texts.
While there had been gaps in the long history of cultivation on the planet, but there was still no lack of texts of all kinds regarding cultivation. The Special Task Force had been collecting all manner of texts since its establishment.
While the Dragon’s cultivation was not quite yet at that of Celestial Realm, he nonetheless knew quite a lot about the realm itself.
From what he was able to tell, not even common Celestial Realmers would have displayed powers as frightening as what he just saw.
Regardless, the military of various nations witnessed that one attack, and there were even many other nations out there watching the fight through the satellite broadcast. Lu Xuan had pretty much flipped what everyone knew about cultivation over.
He himself was a proof saying that humans could actually be that powerful.
None of the remaining s.h.i.+ps of the American Seventh Fleet had any time or energy to spare for taking out Lu Xuan. They were busy saving any of their own who managed to survive.
Lu Xuan descended from the sky gradually.
Lin Miaoyi quickly realized that Lu Xuan looked rather pale. It was apparent that the previous attack he pulled had not been something effortless to him.
None of the remaining s.h.i.+ps of the Seventh Fleet would have been able to escape otherwise. That realization put Lin Miaoyi to ease, however, as it at least meant that Lu Xuan was still a human instead of a G.o.d.
While there was no doubt that Lu Xuan was beyond superhuman, but she was at ease to find that what he was, was still within what she knew about the human condition.
Lu Shanshan was able to tell that her brother was getting pale as well, and she knew that it was definitely due to him having exhausted too much of his powers.
“Are you okay, bro?” Lu Shanshan asked out of concern.
Lu Xuan shook his head and replied, “I’m fine. It’s just that I’ve used up a little too much of my Spiritual Qi.”
To put it precisely, he did not use up a little too much as he had put it; he had instead used up all his Spiritual Qi in that one attack.
His current level was such that the attack was still a little too much for him to handle, and furthermore, he was only able to do so because water vapor was everywhere in the sea, making it easy to form storm clouds. If he were to do so in a desert, that lightning dragon that he summoned earlier would have been a lot smaller.
But then again, there was still no problem tearing apart several s.h.i.+ps.
He was nonetheless able to stun quite a lot of people with that one attack.
It did not take him long for his reserves to recover by ten percent. While that did not seem like much, that bit of power was actually above that of quite a number of Invincible Vajra’s full reserves.
“Come on, let’s go home.”
Lu Xuan took Lu Shanshan and Lin Miaoyi, blitzing through the sea at frightening speeds.
However, that time around, no one dared to stand in his way any longer.
A piece of news spread like wildfire in the part of the dark web concerning cultivators.
The news of the Penglai Sacred Mountain in the East Sea had been very eye-catching to cultivators, to begin with.
It could have even been said that all the t.i.tles found on the dark web, for the time being, were all about that island.
The emergence of that island had gotten so much attention, that posts aimed to educate netizens about the island gained a huge amount of clicks, and all those posts were basically tales and excerpts about Huaxian legends in regards to the Penglai Island.
Many cultivators were itching to see what was there.
However, by the time they got there, they found that the island had submerged into the ocean in a very short span of time.
What surprised them even further was that while the island had indeed sunk before everyone’s eyes. When submarines and submersibles from various nations were sent to fish the island in the area shortly after, they quickly discovered that there was no island in that region anymore.
The island was gone as mysteriously as it emerged a while ago.
‘From what I can tell, Penglai Island is definitely not on Earth. There is just no way that despite so many having pa.s.sed that region for years, no one found the island before, and now it’s gone again.’
‘I sure agree. Penglai Island is probably like the other two—something that exists in a pocket dimension or something, and they would only emerge at specific periods.’
Discussions surrounding the island continued.
However, it did not take long for another shocking piece of news to arrive.
The entire dark web was filled with Huaxian cultivators venting their displeasure and anger after Huaxian fighters had been bullied by everyone else.
Cultivators of other nations dissed and mocked them in return before long, and there was nothing any of those Huaxian cultivators were able to do.
There had even been rumors that even the number one Huaxian fighter, had perished back on the island.
However, another shocking piece of news came while the Huaxian cultivators were still brooding over what happened. It was said that a Huaxian fighter had been throwing his weight around on the island as if they owned the place, and news came flooding in every once in a way related to that.
There was first about the group of Vietnamese fighters on the island wiped out with only a handful managing to escape.
That piece of news was followed by news about the number one Korean and j.a.panese fighter being killed.
The news seemed to spread all over the dark web as soon as Lu Xuan had killed them.
Cultivators from both j.a.pan and Korea on the dark web did not initially believe any of that. In their minds, Kim Min-jin and Matsuda Juuzaburo were both renowned figures.
While common folks would have been oblivious to their renown and deeds, they were considered legendary figures among cultivators.
All of those said legendary figures were killed by one man—Lu Xuan. One could imagine just how shocked cultivators from both Korea and j.a.pan were.
They even refused to believe or acknowledge what transpired at first.
Just how could a lone Huaxian cultivator compare to the might of Korea!
‘Isn’t the strongest Huaxian cultivator in Huaxia a guy called “the Dragon” or something? With even that Dragon taken out, who else could touch the number one fighter of the Great j.a.panese Empire?’
Fighters from both nations hammered on the Huaxian cultivators hard, thinking that it was the Huaxian cultivators who refused to believe that their own had been wiped out. That was why such absurd rumors were spread all over the net.
However, it did not take long for images ill.u.s.trating the deaths of Kim Min-jin and Matsuda Juuzaburo to spread, and all of the cultivators from those two countries shut up at once.
Those images could not have been doctored. They had to admit no matter how much they did not want to, that those two had indeed perished.
‘While Kim Min-jin of Korea has died, he must have dealt a heavy blow on that d.a.m.ned Huaxian before he perished, and that d.a.m.ned Huaxian is definitely going to pay!’
Definitely! Anybody who manages to kill Kim Min-jin and Matsuda Juuzaburo will definitely be severely crippled. That guy is probably dead by now. In a place with so many top-notch fighters around, a severely injured Huaxian could never make it out in one piece!
But then, a video was uploaded, and that dealt yet another crus.h.i.+ng blow to cultivators from both nations yet again.
Their heroes were killed within seconds.
The two who were lauded as near-invincible by cultivators from two nations were actually made short work of by that one Huaxian cultivator.
While the video was taken from quite a distance away and things looked somewhat blurry, everyone was able to see that the two had indeed been killed in mere seconds.
They were unable to even lay a finger on that lone Huaxian cultivator before they were killed.
That fact messed up the minds of the cultivators from those two nations.
