Chapter 2497: No One Can Save Him! Teach Him a Lesson! Heartache! (1)
The young man, observing the faint smile on w.a.n.g Teng’s face, furrowed his brows even more, growing increasingly impatient. A glint of coldness flashed in his eyes. “Are you looking to die?”
A cold glint flashed pa.s.sed w.a.n.g Teng’s eyes. His expression turned ruthless.
Why was there someone so arrogant in the Secondary Career Alliance?
“Ti Du, don’t go too far,” Yu Xiangxiang finally gathered her courage, glaring at the young man and shouting.
“Ti!”
Grandmaster Hua Yuan and the others’ expressions changed slightly. The Ti family was a Culinary Family affiliated with the headquarters of the Secondary Career Alliance, on par with the Yu family.
They hadn’t expected this stall to be reserved for them. No wonder n.o.body dared to touch it.
This was going to be troublesome.
The surrounding crowd was also shocked. They hadn’t antic.i.p.ated it was someone from the Ti family. Grandmaster w.a.n.g Teng had indeed kicked the hornet’s nest.
Many were already prepared to watch the spectacle unfold.
“Young miss from the Yu family.” The young man named Ti Du glanced at her with disdain. “This is none of your business. You’d better not interfere, or I’ll show you what rules are.”
Yu Xiangxiang took a step back in fear but still stood her ground, her face tense as she gritted her teeth. “1… I’m not afraid of you. If you dare to hit me, I’ll have my third brother beat you up.”
As she spoke, she even raised her little fist and waved it.
w.a.n.g Teng couldn’t help but find it amusing.
The way this young girl looked, oscillating between timidity and wanting to protect him, was truly entertaining.
But this also indicated that she probably didn’t initially know that the stall belonged to the young man in front of them.
And to stand up in this situation, w.a.n.g Teng had to give her credit. At least she wasn’t just a simple food lover.
“Yu San!” Tai Du snorted disdainfully. “Even if Yu San comes, so what?”
“And besides, this kid probably isn’t from your Yu family, right? Are you sure you want to make enemies with my Ti family for the sake of an outsider?”
“This stall was reserved for him by me. We didn’t know it belonged to you at first,” Yu Xiangxiang’s expression changed slightly as she hurriedly explained.
“I don’t care about that. Since you’ve used my stall, you’ll have to pay the price,” Ti Du declared.
“You…” Yu Xiangxiang didn’t expect this guy to be so unreasonable, feeling her face flush with anger.
w.a.n.g Teng shook his head, thinking this young girl was still too naive. He was about to speak up.
But just then, another commotion arose outside, and the crowd parted to reveal a figure walking towards them from afar.
It was a handsome young man with long pink hair, tall and elegant, dressed in the attire of a Force Chef, exuding an extraordinary aura.
“Brother Yu San!” Yu Xiangxiang exclaimed in delight upon seeing the newcomer.
Yu San nodded toward Yu Xiangxiang, then turned to Ti Du, giving him a faint smile as he spoke.
“Brother Ti Du, if my sister has offended you in any way, 1 hope you’ll forgive her. Give me some face, and let’s just let this matter go, shall we?”
Ti Du frowned slightly at the smiling young man before him. “Yu San, your sister needs to learn her lesson. This matter is your problem.”
“It’s true that my sister acted without thinking,” Yu San nodded. “I’ll take her home right away.”
“Brother Yu San!” Yu Xiangxiang’s expression changed slightly. She hadn’t expected her brother to choose to pacify the situation.
“Don’t cause trouble,” Yu San glanced at her and said calmly.
Yu Xiangxiang was at a loss for words, feeling anxious. Faced with Yu San’s seriousness, she didn’t dare to be too reckless. But Brother w.a.n.g Teng was in trouble because of her. She couldn’t just ignore it.
For a moment, she was caught in a dilemma.
“In that case, please take your sister home and educate her properly. Don’t go around causing trouble,” Ti Du’s face revealed a smug smile as he spoke calmly.
“Thank you, Brother Ti Du,” Yu San turned to Yu Xiangxiang, ready to leave. “Let’s go.”
Throughout the whole encounter, he didn’t even spare a glance at w.a.n.g Teng.
“Brother Yu San, he’s my friend,” Yu Xiangxiang exclaimed urgently.
“If this friend has chosen this stall, then he must have the ability to handle it himself,” Yu San glanced at w.a.n.g Teng and replied calmly.
w.a.n.g Teng suddenly chuckled.
It seemed that this Yu San harbored some prejudice against him. Could it be that he was being regarded as a scammer who deceived young girls?
“This matter isn’t as you think. He didn’t know this stall belonged to the Ti family,” Yu Xiangxiang explained hastily.
“Regardless of whether he knew or not, upon seeing the location of this stall, he should have understood everything,” Yu San said calmly without saying much more. “You’re still young and don’t understand the dangers of the outside world. Come with me.”
This remark made w.a.n.g Teng chuckle once again.
He wasn’t the type to endure humiliation silently.
From the very beginning, he hadn’t deceived Yu Xiangxiang about anything. But looking at Yu San’s demeanor, it seemed he was being treated as a scammer, which was truly exasperating.
Grandmaster Hua Yuan and the others’ expressions also changed slightly. Yu San’s words were a bit too much.
Just a Culinary Family, to be honest, they didn’t care much. With the backgrounds of the alchemy grandmasters, grandmaster blacksmiths, and rune grandmasters present, they weren’t inferior to a Culinary Family at all.
And they were w.a.n.g Teng’s solid backing. He was the darling of the Great Qian Empire’s Secondary Career Alliance, and they wouldn’t allow anyone to insult him.
Ti Du couldn’t help but sneer aside, looking at w.a.n.g Teng with a mocking gaze.
He wanted to see what confidence this kid had without the protection of the Yu family.
For many years, no one had dared to offend their Ti family. Today, they finally encountered one. It was quite interesting.
The people around couldn’t help but look at w.a.n.g Teng with some sympathy. This grandmaster had relied on a young lady from the Yu family to obtain this stall, but unfortunately, it seemed unreliable…
