“Ah?” Ji Yang looked disappointed. She thought s.h.i.+ Beiyu would say that it was alright and that he could delay the meeting or something along those lines.

“I’ll head out first then. I’ll be back tonight,” s.h.i.+ Beiyu said gently as he looked at Mu Siyin.

The weight on Mu Siyin’s shoulders finally fell.

She instantly grinned and nodded. “Okay. Hurry away, then.”

s.h.i.+ Beiyu felt annoyed for a moment. It seemed like her best friend was more important than him.

Watching as s.h.i.+ Beiyu turned coldly and left, Ji Yang frowned and looked at Mu Siyin in dissatisfaction. “Is he really that busy, Yinyin? Look at the time now. Will he be able to make it to the meeting?”

It was already past 9:00 a.m., so he would only be at his office around 10 a.m.
