"Ah!" Kana scratched her head. "I kind of forgot to control my strength. He's not dead, right?"

"It's fine. You did fine. Even if he died it would be his own fault for being too weak." The referee replied with a chuckle before asking: "Do you wish to continue?"

"Huh? Oh yeah. But umm… can we have forty nine of them come up at the same time? It seems kind of slow to fight one at a time." Kana did not want to sit around here all day since she had to fight many fights and wanted to reach the top floor before she left this world. "Sure." The girl smiled and began typing before suddenly pausing her fingers over her keyboard and looked back at Kana and asked: "I am sorry I think I just heard you wrong. Did you just say, all fifty?"

"Mmm… It's too much of a ha.s.sle to do one at a time. I can just toss them away in a matter of a few seconds, so it's fine." Kana replied. Her nonchalant att.i.tude about the entire thing made the girl feel a bit dizzy.

"Please hold on. I will need to speak to my supervisor!" She picked up the phone next to her and quickly made a call. Her conversation went on for almost five minutes and consisted of her asking the other person on the line if it was really okay. But in the end, she hung up and with a dazed expression on her face said: "Please head to the special stage. You will be able to pa.s.s if you beat all fifty in one go."
