It did not take long for Kana and Misaki to return to the building that the lab resided in. They went back down to the first floor, where Misaki stopped in front of the door. "Now that I am thinking about it. On that day, everyone disappeared. I think I heard someone shout to be ready and that they were about to start up the Galaxy Cube for its first test run. But I also heard arguments of people shouting that the testing should not go on and that they should talk more about whether or not it was right to use an object of wors.h.i.+p as a tool."

"So the Galaxy Cube should have been the reason why everyone disappeared, but I do not get it. Misaki, the world you lived in was actually an entire planet, right? Or were you always within the realm of G.o.ds?" Kana still did not understand what they meant by world. This was a realm that was the next stage of sentient being evolution. So she did not understand why this city would suddenly be here.

"This I am not sure of. At one point, when everyone disappeared, I did unhook myself and look around but did not see anyone but trees. But then again, I might have turned off at some point. But it seems power to the lab will never run out." Misaki remembered opening her eyes and wandering outside the lab to the front door to look outside only to see trees. She roamed the city only to find that it was surrounded by many more trees. Finding it all boring, she returned to the lab.

"So they disappeared, but you didn't…. It is highly strange. But it seems only the lower floors have power. Do you know if there are any computers or devices that they stored information on in the lower levels?" Kana asked.

"You mean the InfoCube? There are a few offices on the floor below us for the higher ranking personnel who oversaw the operations down there." Misaki replied before showing Kana the way.

The two went down to the second subfloor, which did have many, many labs, but they all seemed to be very secure. As if more sensitive experiments were going on in them. Kana and Misaki went to an office a little ways down past some of those labs. Kana decided she would take a look after checking the offices. "There is an infocube here."

Misaki pointed to a desk with a cube shaped object on it that had a screen. It was the same thing she saw in the other offices in other buildings and upstairs. She walked over and sat down and stared at the box, unsure of how to use the thing. "Misaki, can you turn this on? Wait, what are you doing!?"

"Hmmm? These clothes are stuffy..." Misaki complained as she froze with her pants half way down her thigh.

Kana sighed and said: "For the time being, while we are in here, you can take off the pants. But keep the panties on."

"Hehe! Thank you, Master!" Misaki happily kicked off her pants and stretched as she walked around the room. Kana did not know what to make of this nudist robot.

"Misaki, come over here and turn this on for me. I do not know how to get this thing working." Kana had never used a computer in her life, so she did not know what she was looking at.

Misaki groaned and walked over and pushed her way into between Kana and the computer, and started doing her thing. All the while, Kana's face was black… "Where are your clothes, you d.a.m.n nudist!?"

"Huh? You said I could take them off while we were in the office!" Misaki responded with a confused expression.

"Just your pants! Not all of them! I said, keep your panties on!" As Kana said that, she looked down and saw that the d.a.m.n robot was actually wearing her panties! "Ahem… Your bra and s.h.i.+rt too!"

"But they're stuffy!" Misaki complained as she walked back over and picked up her bra and s.h.i.+rt, and put them on. Her lower lip was pouted out so far you could rest a drink on it. She then went back to doing what she was doing on the computer.

Kana chuckled and watched closely at how Misaki worked the computer. After being shown a few things, Kana finally got the hang of it. "I got it from here. Thank you."

"I am here to a.s.sist Master…. Umm… Master..." Misaki fiddled with her fingers as she looked down at her toes that she was wiggling as well.

"Hmm?" Kana was engrossed in what she was doing and did not look up at Misaki.

"Can I…. At least…. Take the s.h.i.+rt…"

"No!" Kana did not let her finish as she firmly denied Misaki of whatever she was about to ask.

Misaki lowered her head and walked away dejectedily as she pulled on the s.h.i.+rt in anger but also careful enough not to rip it so she wouldn't get yelled at. Kana looked up at the silly robot and smiled. She mumbled to herself: "It seems my days will become more interesting with this pervert around."

After a bit of searching Kana finally found a doc.u.ment with the words galaxy cube on it. "Let's see here..."

What the doc.u.ment stated was the galaxy cube was a high secret project to harness the power of the ancient cube that was found millions of years ago and use that power to transfer the planet to other places in search of life on other worlds. The only issue was that it seemed there was an argument between two factions. One faction was opposed to touching the cube's power as it was an object of wors.h.i.+p and allowed their people to live out their days in peace. But the other faction was hungry for faster advancements in technology. "Hmm? It seems one of these factions couldn't wait any more and decided to do the test in secret…."
