He sighed before looking at the creature one last time. It was struggling to break free from the pit but no matter how hard it tried that was not an option right now.

"As much as I want to see your final form, I can't take that risk. You need to die before that."

That one inconspicuous move made Hao Xuan's heart shake. It was far worse than the imminent threat of physical harm.

The initial jab blew the ones in front of him into smithereens but he pulled back so quickly that it created a vacuum which pulled in even more grunts into the explosion, effectively clearing out several meters of the area around him.

"Don't bother. These little ones won't even slow me down," Hao Xuan shook his head lightly before directing his attention towards the Synapse that looked even more imposing from down here.

"You wanted me to come to you, I'm here. But let me warn you, I won't hold back either. This is the first real fight for me in a long time and I plan to go all out so, prepare yourself."
