Jin w.a.n.g was mortified at the thought of so many souls suffering because of him, yes, him. Because it was during his first lifetime when he met the Emperor that they uncovered one of the grave secrets of his kingdom.

Jin w.a.n.g punched the barrier with such force that nearly all the skin on his hand was immediately blown away.

"I only taught you this technique so you could learn how to stop it, not become one of the people that USED IT! You promised we would never become like them, like the G.o.ds that asked for such sacrifices from us...and now look where you stand!" he roared through gritted teeth, punching the barrier repeatedly with all his might.

He only stopped when there did not seem to be any change whatsoever within the barrier. It was far too powerful and his strength was greatly limited in here.

"In the end, you are no different from any of them! Look at where you stand, the essence of thousands of souls rests beneath your feet, and why? So you could keep us contained?"

That last sentence finally got a reaction out of the Emperor. He pulled back his hands and turned towards him.

[The names of each one of those souls is forever inscribed on the walls of my mind. They volunteered, knowing full well what horrors awaited them. And...I did not create this place for you, old friend]

Jin w.a.n.g swallowed his anger in hopes of striking up a proper conversation with the Emperor and maybe buying some time while he came up with another plan.

"If not us then who?"

[From the 'All-seeing' eye. Once it begins he will send whatever he can conjure to destroy me]

"The All-Seeing Eye?!" even Jin w.a.n.g was shocked to hear the answer because it could only relate to one being and the threat of going against him scared even him.

"W-Why would Odin want to destroy you? He has never intervened in anything before."

[Because this time it is different. This time...it is a real possibility. I have prepared for this moment for all my life]

The Emperor pulled back his right arm to gather most of the golden energy around it. It began to take the shape of a hammer created by the concentrated essence of all his remaining power.

He could only do so because the chamber was created by him and he was the only one that could use his power in here without any side effects. In fact, it even provided him a little boost.

And seeing such an alarming level of concentrated energy Jin w.a.n.g's hair stood straight up.

"I don't understand, what...are you trying to do? Hey, talk to me!"

But the Emperor was too engrossed in whatever he was doing to pay any attention to the likes of Jin w.a.n.g anymore. The task at hand was far more important. He was now lost in his own little world, talking more to himself than anyone around him.

The Emperor's left hand gently cupped Hao Xuan's face, raising it so he could see what was about to happen.

Hao Xuan's gaze finally focused as the words began to make a little sense to him. He looked at the face of this golden warrior that stood before him, appearing a lot more human than before.

[You were born in such a place...a 'Well of Suffering' they call it. But I saved you and many others like you, pulling you away from the unending cycle of agony with the help of that fallen angel, in hopes that you could help me in my time of need. And that time has now come]

He raised the hammer over his head, and in front of the shocked gazes of the only two witnesses within the chamber, struck down with all his might.

Hao Xuan couldn't even look away as the hammer fell on top of his head.

A shockwave of sanguine energy shook the chamber down to its core before disseminating to the outside world. It continued moving through everything and everyone, traveling all the way down to the planet's core before leaking into the ether where every spiritually sensitive being could sense it.

And in that instant, countless gazes from across all of the Realms of Creation turned towards this nameless planet.

The Nine Worlds and Ten Heavens. The Eight Desolaces and the Nine h.e.l.ls, none could ignore what was about to take place here. ????????.???

And among these innumerable 'organs of sight' was a single eye that caused many others to tremble in awe at its mere existence.
