From time to time, Jasmine would babble, clap her hands excitedly, and move her hands and feet about while watching the Baby Tv. Her parents found her actions funny and continued keeping their eyes on her.

When it was time for Jasmine to eat, the little girl still had all her focus on her cartoon, so Jia Li brought her bottle of milk and gave it to her.

For a brief moment, Jasmine grabbed her bottle of milk from her mother and tried to put it in her mouth, and went on to suck on it before taking it out of her mouth and playing with it while her eyes were on the TV.

"You don't want your food now?." Jia Li asked as she took the bottle from her.

"She's got something more fun to watch." Fu Hua replied with a smile.

Jia Li tried to put the bottle in Jasmine's mouth, but the little girl pushed it away with a glance before turning back to the Tv and continued babbling excitedly.

Jia Li glanced at her and back at the TV before picking up the remote to turn it off. This was like a dream to Jasmine because she was watching something interesting and it suddenly went off.

The little bun turned to glance at her mother in time to see her put the remote on the table in front of them.

"Now I have your attention." Jia Li said to her as she carried her in her arms and started feeding her through the bottle.

Fu Hua couldn't help smiling as he said to her, "When Jasmine is staying by herself, you will want to hold her. But if she is crying, you will want to run away, I haven't seen a mother like you."

"That's because I'm the first one." Jia Li replied with a smile. The little bun in her arms drank her milk obediently with her gaze going between her mother and her father.

At Bai Jun's reception, Bai Jun and Yang Peng were just welcomed in, and all attention was on them before FangSu and Fu Meixu decided to pop in.

Heads turned as FangSu and Fu Meixu made their way into the hall with smiles on their faces. Both of their mothers had already gone in before now.

Bai Jun and Yang Peng glance over from the state to see FangSu and Fu Meixu walking down the red carpet in stunning dresses, and she knew they were here to steal her show because their actions were on purpose.

Bai Fen glanced over from where she was sitting and a big frown appeared on her face. "What is wrong with the people of the Fu family, are thru were here to steal the spotlight."

"You are the only one who would think like that. I like their dresses, it is expected of them to dress up that way as they are from a wealthy family." The third daughter-in-law said with a smile.

"Are you that daft or what? Can't you see that they are doing this on purpose? Should I wait till when it's one of your son's weddings and create a similar situation?." Bai Fen asked angrily.

"Are you trying to embarra.s.s yourself and your daughter by creating a scene? Don't you know that we are the center of attention today?." Bai Fen's husband asked with a slight frown.

Bai Fen couldn't go on because truly, thru would be the center of attention since they were the bride's family. But still, she couldn't forgive what FangSu and Fu Meixu did.

When it was time for Bai Jun and Yang Peng to make a toast, they first went to the Bai family's table to make a toast.

"Yang Peng, take care of my daughter." Bai Fen said as she raised another toast to them. Yang Peng on the other hand faked a smile and drank from his gla.s.s without saying anything.

Bai Jun's eyes accidentally met the third daughter-in-law's eyes who was staring at her with a smirk as if to remind her of her words the day she acted rudely to Yang Peng.

Old Lady Bai also said a few words to them before allowing them to leave. Next, Bai Jun and Yang Peng went to the Yang's table to offer a toast to them.

After offering a toast to both families, they could now start offering toasts to the guests. As it was time to go to the table reserved for the Fu families, Bai Jun was reluctant to go, but how was that possible that she wouldn't go there to give a toast?

When they got to the Fu family's table, Bai Jun faked a smile and greeted Fu Hee and Fu ChuHua. Fu Hee didn't respond to her and left Fu ChuHua to do the talking.

"What a perfect couple. Bai Jun, you look so good on your day, and I'm sure this is the best day in your life." Fu ChuHua said as she raised a toast to her.

Bai Jun was already angry, as she thought how on earth could today possibly be the best day in her life? She knew that she would surely get mocked or ignored if she came to give a toast to them.

FangSu glanced at Bai Jun with a brightened-up gaze before s.h.i.+fting it to Yang Peng who seemed only to respect them because of their status, as deep down, he was not interested to meet any guests and offering a toast to them.

"Mr. Yan, my supposed best friend is as gentle as a dove, but she always seems to follow the crooked path, so as her husband, you must lead her onto the straight path so she won't get you and your family into trouble...cheers," FangSu said as she clinked gla.s.ses with them by herself and drank happily.

Yang Peng glanced at Bai Jun with hatred before saying to FangSu, "Thanks for the reminder.." He definitely got FangSu's point and understood that she was no longer friends with Bai Jun.
