Hearing Ye Zhouyan's words, Lin Min was thrilled. "Chen Yi, quick! Do as Madam Chen says! kneel down and beg. Madam Chen is very charitable! She will surely help you out of your situation if you show your sincerity!"

The occurrence at the restaurant was like a wound on fire for her. Lin Min could never have expected that she would chance upon an opportunity to witness that Chen Yi suffer, so soon. She considered herself lucky to have come here today to meet Madam Chen.

If she hadn't come, how would she chance upon that Chen Yi disgracing herself?

By Lin Min's understanding of Madam Chen, she won't let off that disrespectful vixen easily. So there was no way that Chen Yi would be able to avoid the consequences of her impudence today.

When Chen Yi didn't get up and showed no intentions of bending, Lin Min frowned. "Chen Yi, no matter what, kneeling to your Aunt is better than sleeping around with a random man. When Madam Chen is saying that she will help you if you shed your arrogance then why are you insistent on keeping up with this att.i.tude? Let me advise you, you better kneel before Madam Chen changes her mind!"

Chen Yi was cool. She laughed lightly. "What I need to do and what I don't, I don't need a dog to tell me."

"You...!" Lin Min erupted. But minding Madam Chen was in her vicinity, she controlled her temper. She didn't want to appear aggressive in front of Ye Zhouyan. Thus, she politely advised Ye Zhouyan. "Madam Chen, she clearly doesn't appreciate your kindness. You should not waste your time on an ungrateful person like her."

Ye Zhouyan had noticed from her prideful and cool demeanor that this Chen Yi was clearly not here to humble herself and ask for charity.

If Chen Yi was not going to kneel and disgrace herself in front of Ye Zhouyan, there was no use talking to her. "Chen Yi, I was tolerating considering our blood relations.h.i.+p. But since you won't repent, don't blame me for being rude." Ye Zhouyan said in a hypocritical, superior tone. "Security!"

Following her words, dozen of men appeared in the lounge.

The estate holding Chen family residence would provide all sorts of staff including the kitchen staff, gardening staff, the security, drivers, and maids with a housekeeper. 

The houses in this estate were not highly sought after for no reason. They were top tier when it came to luxury, comfort, and service.

Out of a sudden, Chen Yi's courageous voice resounded. "Stop right there!"

All the men paused at once.

"You- Why are you guys stopping? Chen Yi, don't tell me that now you have changed your mind and want to kneel? Even if you do, it's too late! Do you think that you can just barge into anyone's home and stay there as long as you desire? How can you be this shameless?" Ye Zhouyan was indignant.

Hearing her words, Chen Yi's lips curled up. She laughed coldly. She couldn't believe how could someone be so heinous. "Indeed, Aunt is right. Only a shameless would stay at someone else home as long as he desires." She said, her eyes glinted with a sharp light. "Doesn't that perfectly apply to you, Aunt?"

"Chen Yi, what nonsense are you spewing!" Since Lin Min was here, she had to defend Ye Zhouyan.

Chen Yi stared coldly at her Aunt's reddening face. "Since Aunt has become too aged and her memory seems to be impaired, I would like to remind her. When my parents had married, my mother had inherited this home from her father. Since this home was originally signed to my mother, after her death, shouldn't the rightful owner be her children?"

Ye Zhouyan was speechless. She had been living comfortably in this home for so long, enjoying all the privileges that she had long forgotten that this home was actually... not theirs by right. 

However, she would never admit this in front of an outsider.

If the word of this spread out, she and her husband would be criticized by the people.

Now that Lin Min was here, she was never going to admit it.

"Chen Yi, you would actually fall so low to come up with baseless lies?" Ye Zhouyan said, maintaining her righteous face. "All of us know that before your mother died, she had named this house to me in exchange for some foreign property. Why are you coming up with these baseless lies? What evil intent do you have behind this?"

Even if the house should belong to that Chen Yi, what could she do now?

They had already expected a day as such would come where Chen Yi would claim her right, so in preparation, they already had forged papers. 

When Lin Min heard Chen Yi's words, she made a face. "Chen Yi, you are truly shameless! Not only do you refuse to show respect to your elder, you even have covetous intentions towards her home? Absolutely disgusting!"

"Oh?" Chen Yi's lips curled into a sneer.

She had already expected that Ye Zhouyan would never relent easily.

"Then... how is my dear Aunt going you justify this?" Chen Yi simply took out a paper and slammed it onto the table in front of her.

It was the legal paper transferring the estate owners.h.i.+p to Chen Yi's younger brother. Before her younger brother came of the age, Chen Yi was named to look after the estate. 

Ye Zhouyan's eyes widened in horror when she saw the official seal over the papers. "You... What is this! What rubbis.h.!.+"

"It seems my mother was aware of my Aunt's nature before she pa.s.sed away. Therefore, she specifically left a will behind her in her locker. Before her death, she had once asked me if ever an unfortunate event was to happen, then I must contact the relevant Bank to retrieve her will." Chen Yi explained smoothly. "Do you still have something to say, dearest Aunt?"

Upon her natural cherry red lips, there was a provocative smile.. However, within her dark brown deep eyes, sparked a cold glint.
