"You are mean to a lot of people," she pointed out, feeling her body buzz with the ecstasy she felt in Calhoun's arms.

Madeline took in the words that he said to her, letting it sink into her just like the pleasure that had turned her body weak. Madeline pressed her lips on Calhoun's lips when his hand moved away, taking him by surprise. She quickly pulled away from him before looking away as if she had done nothing.
