Everyone looked towards the floating egg with frowns on their faces when they heard Li Luo's question.

Li Luo chuckled a little, but he did not answer her. He channeled his resonant power directly into the mysterious Auric Halo, creating a bright glow. Light resonant power burst out and flew towards the blood egg in the center of the pool.

Yue Zhiyu recovered from her surprise at this point and explained the matters to them. Everyone's faces turned dark as they listened. Their eyes were now focused on the egg.

"The Blood Coffin Carrier had its eyes on the egg right from the beginning. When he saw that things weren't going well, he abandoned his body immediately. A part of his flesh hid within the blood pool and was waiting for a chance to fuse with it." Feng Lingyuan felt a little regretful now that she thought about it. She had been too careless earlier, thinking that they had actually killed off the Blood Coffin Carrier completely.
