A large group of people with surging resonant power dashed across the silent, cold hall. It was a truly grand sight to behold.

At this moment, they were all heading directly to the center of the All-Beings Palace where the Heavenly Ghost Altar was located.

That was the final destination for their mission.

Li Luo and Jiang Qing'e remained close together as they made their way forward. This was largely due to Li Luo leaning over despite Jiang Qing'e giving him a stare. The others were a little jealous as they watched the two of them.

There were also strange statues on top of some of the pillars. They statues had no facial features. Instead, there was an "evil" character carved onto their faces.

Li Luo looked past these Devil Heart Pillars and saw a gigantic statue with a ghostly face in the center. A strange and twisted feeling surrounded this statue as its ghastly face looked up at the sky. Its huge mouth was open, displaying its sharp fangs. White liquid flowed out of its mouth, forming a pool.

The liquid gave off an extremely chilly and unsettling aura, as if it was the leftover product after boiling human skins in a hot pot for a really really long time.

The giant ghost-faced statue was clearly the objective of their mission.

The Heavenly Ghost Altar!

Wu Changkong and Feng Lingyuan glanced at each other, and the same thought flashed through their minds. If they destroyed this altar, the True Devil Eggs would be unable to fuse together.

Their mission would thus be considered a success.

"Let's do it!"

At the next moment, Wu Changkong dashed in front, leading the charge. He cried out loudly, and immense amounts of resonant power surged up into the sky above, forming a majestic Heavenly Resonance Diagram.

"Li Luo, follow me!" Jiang Qing'e told Li Luo as she grabbed her heavy sword. She led the charge and activated her dual resonances as two light Spirit Avatars appeared behind her back. They sucked in light energy from the surrounding rapidly and transformed it into power for Jiang Qing'e.

As soon as she stepped onto the battlefield, Jiang Qing'e became the most illuminating spot of light in the arena. Her light resonant power was converted into ferocious attacks that swept across the battlefield. The divine purification power of the dual ninth-grade resonances was simply unstoppable.

The Greater Evil Spirits in front of them would struggle for a few moments even when Wu Changkong's attack landed on them. Jiang Qing'e, however, gravely injured them, leaving them on the cusp of death with a few simple strikes.

If not for the terrifying waves of resonant power that were pulsing from her body, she would undoubtedly be called cute.

Even Wu Changkong could not help but turn his attention towards her. His gaze froze for a moment.

He could sense a serious threat coming from this pet.i.te little girl. He understood who it was immediately. Who else could it be except for the top-ranked student of the Hallowed Coruscation Ancient College, Ning Meng?
