The thick and cold clouds covered the sky completely. White rain drops trickled down as if the curtain had been drawn.

The students stared at the white rain in horror.

The raindrops were extremely sticky. It was clearly not ordinary rainwater, but some kind of creepy wax oil.

Then the most frightening thing happened—they instantly lost control of their own bodies.

The white wax oil slowly flowed around their bodies like an additional layer of white skin, then they were turned into ice-cold, human wax figures.

In just a few moments, quite a number of students fell to it. Nearly half of their bodies had been covered in the ice-cold wax. They watched in horror, but regardless of how much they struggled, it was all futile.

Screams of horror echoed in the air one after another.

None of them could take this calmly as they watched the terrifying sight unfold before them. They were all slowly turning into wax figures.

However, countless white ghost flames appeared within the lanterns, and there was a vicious-looking face inside each flame. They dissolved the attacks coming from the trio in the blink of an eye.

The White Eyed True Devil did not attack them immediately even though they were trapped. Its cold, white eyes turned, and it suddenly looked towards the back at a youth holding onto a huge bow.

It was none other than Li Luo.

Seeing this, the White Eyed True Devil stretched out its hands. The white rain in the surroundings gathered up once again and transformed into a white arrow. The white arrow filled with immensely chilly energy was locked onto Li Luo.

Li Luo was shocked to realize that he had no hope of escaping when that happened. The world s.p.a.ce in his surroundings seemed to have frozen.

A Duke taking action was truly terrifying.

Li Luo glanced at the crimson bracelet on his wrist. It seemed like he had to awaken the Five-tailed Heavenly Wolf after all.

Just as he was prepared to go all-out against the White Eyed True Devil, its body turned rigid for a moment. Suddenly, the white wax arrow began to show some signs of melting.

The White Eyed True Devil let out a cold roar. On its chest, the fourth face with a calm expression appeared to have opened her eyes.

It was Li Lingjing's face.

She seemed to be opposing the White Eyed True Devil's intention to attack Li Luo.

"Cousin Lingjing..." Li Luo noticed the internal struggle occurring within the True Devil. His heart both ached and felt fury towards this abomination.
