Chapter 850 - 850 On the Way
850 On the Way
Cheng Yan was surprised to see such a spectacle, but a thought quickly crossed his mind, and he couldn’t help but furrow his eyebrows in worry.
Qin Hao seemed to have other plans as he grabbed a hold of his phone, taking pictures of the sky above him.
This was truly a rare sight. It was a good thing that they were able to see this now, or else they might not be able to come again in the future.
“Someone actually managed to find it.”
!!Just then, a shocked voice echoed across the forest, and everyone froze.
Who was that?
Yao Tang glanced over to look at the man.
A familiar face appeared in front of her. Thinking of what had happened at Lingyun Peak, her lips stretched into a meaningful smile.
It was him!
What a coincidence!
The man glanced over at the crowd, where his gaze stayed on Cheng Yan and Yao Tang.
The pair looked extremely familiar, but he just couldn’t put where he had last seen them.
Even then, there was a sense of familiarity with the way between them.
Shaking his head, the man frowned.
“Are you here to see the sun and the moon?” Lin Xin chatted with him happily, waving at the sight around her. “Don’t you see? The forum really was telling the truth, Mister!”
The man immediately stumbled back. as his face showed in realization.
He was wondering how someone had stumbled across this strange site. It seemed that she was simply a tourist who had entered the formation by mistake. It was all just a coincidence.
The man’s guard slowly dropped as he replied, “There’s really nothing to see here except for the sky. You can find the mountain and trees in any other park.” He shrugged. “You should get back soon unless you want to get lost here in the dark.”
He was right. Other than the strange phenomenon, the rest appeared ordinary.
Of course, that was for ordinary people. In the eyes of people who had practiced with arrays like him, there were traps everywhere. If he had accidentally triggered them with his powers, he might not be able to return.
They really need to get away.
“But we’re not done here!” She pouted.
Lin Xin had only been here for five minutes. It obviously wasn’t easy to trek over here, let alone see such a strange phenomenon.
Shouldn’t she be taking her time in appreciating the view?
Meng Yang was not happy about leaving either. After seeing the spectacle, he really wanted to stay a little longer.
Qin Jing was far too busy trying to find an angle for her photos. She wanted to bring back a picture of her grandfather. He’d definitely be pleased with this shot!
Yao Tang simply crossed her arms indifferently.
The man stifled a sigh in his heart, seeing that no one was listening to him. He had warned them, but it wasn’t like he could force them to move out.
It was their choice whether they wanted to stay or not.
If they get lost, they were asking for it.
While the forest appeared ordinary, there were plenty of wolves hiding in the bushes, with vipers slithering up the branches. All of them were waiting for an opportunity to strike. A common group of tourists like them wouldn’t be able to defend themselves.
If they were to be attacked, they wouldn’t be able to get to the hospital in time either.
Whatever. Yu Chen turned around and walked deeper into the forest. He had his own mission to take care of. He certainly didn’t want to stay here.
But after walking for a while, he started hearing footsteps coming from behind him.
It wasn’t just one person, but the entire group of people he had left behind.
He stopped. The others stopped as well.
When he started to walk, everyone followed right behind him.
After a while, Yu Chen waved his hands helplessly up in the air. “What do you want?” he demanded helplessly. “Why are you following me?”
They all turned to Yao Tang.
They didn’t want to follow him actually, but Yao Tang was the one who had initiated it! Now, they were quick to follow right behind her.
“I’m just following you,” Yao Tang replied, appearing calm. “Didn’t you say that it’s easy to get lost around here? Since you look like you know the way, I’ll follow you instead.”
“I…”
