Chapter 113: These Were Her Good Sisters
Ji Churan had only asked politely because Jiang Zeyu was Jiang Yu’s older brother. She hadn’t expected him to agree with her.
According to talk around the school, other than his younger sister, he doesn’t mingle with any other girl.
Perhaps he had also responded politely because she was Xiao Yu’er’s friend.
Moreover, they had more important matters to attend to. After their brief exchange, they continued to rush to the school gate.
Ji Churan jogged beside Jiang Zeyu. She didn’t know that Jiang Zeyu was actually slowing down his pace for her.
!!Song Bi, who had been beside Jiang Zeyu, tactfully retreated a few meters away, standing on the other side as if he was just a pa.s.serby…
When the two of them arrived at the school gate, they saw Chen Miaoyi walking up to Jiang Wan and Ni Manman.
Ji Churan quickly said, “You head on to Xiao Yu’s side first. I’ll go check out the situation.”
She joined the crowd and blended in, trying to find out how the situation was developing.
Before this, Ji Churan didn’t know about the bet between Jiang Yu and Chen Miaoyi, so when she had heard the news today, she was very surprised.
After she had found out from a few people that Chen Miaoyi did not want to fulfill the bet, she had come looking for Jiang Yu. Ji Churan furrowed her brows and felt that this would be a difficult matter to settle.
Although Jiang Yu was not responsible for what had happened, if Jiang Yu insists on Chen Miaoyi dropping out of school, it wouldn’t end well, but she couldn’t just let Chen Miaoyi go, that wouldn’t make sense either.
As soon as Jiang Zeyu got to Jiang Yu’s side, he said, “Little Sister, don’t waste your breath on her. I will help you bring her to the princ.i.p.al’s office and watch her complete the withdrawal procedures!”
“There’s no need. I’ve already made other demands.”
“Huh? What demands?”
“Just wait and see.”
Jiang Zeyu noticed Chen Miaoyi, Ni Manman, and Jiang Wan were discussing something. Ni Manman suddenly had a huge reaction and started arguing with Chen Miaoyi.
Jiang Wan’s expression also seemed a little strange.
From where Ji Churan stood, she could hear Chen Miaoyi sobbing. “Aren’t you two my good sisters? How can you just watch me get pushed out of school?”
Chen Miaoyi tugged on Jiang Wan’s arm, “Wan Wan, you’re a nice person, you’ll definitely help me, right? Help me persuade Man Man. All you have to do is beg Jiang Yu together! It’s not difficult!”
Ni Manman pulled Miaoyi’s hand away, “If you want to beg, do it yourself, I won’t do it! You are willing to throw away your pride but I am not!”
“Is this consider throwing away your pride?”
Chen Miaoyi cried as she said, “Back then, I made this bet with Jiang Yu because I wanted to stand up for you guys. Have you forgotten?”
“Now, all I need is for you guys to help me put in a good word with Jiang Yu. It’s such a simple request, yet you guys aren’t willing to help me. Are you really my good sisters?”
“What do you mean by a simple request? You want us to beg Jiang Yu? Dream on! Have you forgotten how Jiang Yu treated Wan Wan? Why would Wan Wan beg her for anything?”
Ni Manman reprimanded angrily, “I’m telling you, don’t even think about dragging Wan Wan and me together with you!”
Chen Miaoyi’s eyes were filled with tears and her vision was foggy. She couldn’t see anything clearly.
Ni Manman and Jiang Wan’s att.i.tude was even more chilling than the fact that she couldn’t bear the consequences of losing the bet.
These were her good sisters that she had always claimed to be best friends with.
Now, in their eyes, she was a disgrace, a waste that was about to be thrown out.
