Chapter 115: First Place in the Grade Isn’t That Impressive
As soon as she heard the word “beg”, Ni Manman exploded, “Jiang Yu, I’m warning you, Don’t push your luck!”
Seeing someone dare to point a finger at Jiang Yu’s nose and shout at her, Jiang Zeyu exploded as well. He asked coldly, “What did you say?”
Ni Manman felt a little apprehensive as she looked at Jiang Zeyu.
She has seen Jiang Zeyu fight before. His level of ruthlessness was painful to look at.
!!Ni Manman shrunk her head back and Jiang Yu asked, “What if I want to?”
When Ni Manman opened her mouth again, her voice was much weaker. “So what if you got first place in the grade? You were just lucky for a second. Can you maintain your first place position?”
Jiang Yu: “Getting first place in the grade isn’t that impressive.”
Ni Manman scoffed, “At least you still have some self-awareness!”
Jiang Yu: “What is impressive, is that didn’t I get first place with full marks?”
Ni Manman: “…”
She had been successfully choked by Jiang Yu and had the wind knocked out of her. She felt like she couldn’t breathe.
Jiang Zeyu who was standing to the side was amazed. His little sister’s ability to talk back to others was really amazing.
Jiang Yu nodded her head and Jiang Zeyu flashed his phone in front of them.
“Also, you may not know this, but this is being broadcasted. Are you happy being an actress?”
This meant that Ni Manman’s performance was being shown to the world.
Ni Manman: “You!”
Jiang Yu crossed his arms and said, “Hurry up. We don’t have all day and I don’t have much patience. It’s okay if you want to go back on your words now. After all, I’m not the one who’s going to be embarra.s.sed.”
Ni Manman glared at Chen Miaoyi.
Chen Miaoyi stood to the side and ignored her.
She had stopped crying and her tears were dry. She stood beside her like a wooden statue. Even in this ridiculous scene, she still had a heavy part to play.
Ni Manman took a few deep breaths before she gritted her teeth and said, “Please, let Chen Miaoyi go. Don’t force her to drop out of school.”
Jiang Yu pursed her lips and said, “Your language teacher must be very disappointed in you.”
Ni Manman was once again slapped by Jiang Yu. She tried her best to calm herself.
Jiang Wan stood up and said, “Big Sister, we are all cla.s.smates, why are you being so aggressive? Please, let Miaoyi go. Miaoyi was just acting on impulse, why do you have to hold on to this grudge?”
Jiang Yu said, “You’ve been drafting these words in your heart for a long time, haven’t you?”
Jiang Wan: “…”
She sighed and said, “Big Sister, I know you don’t like me, but let’s not drag the other cla.s.smates into our personal feud. Can you please let Miaoyi go?”
Jiang Yu frowned and said, “Who’s having a personal feud with you?”
Beside her, Jiang Zeyu also chimed in, “Could you be any more shameless?”
He really didn’t like this kind of delicate little girl, always speaking in a roundabout way. Whenever she encountered something, she would take the blame and say that she was in the wrong.
As if a large group of people had nothing better to do and just wanted to find fault with her all day.
Especially back at the Jiang family, Father Jiang was strict with him and his brothers but he doted on Jiang Wan.
When Father Jiang scolded him, Jiang Wan would speak up for him. Father Jiang would then repeat this incident over and over and over again, saying that he should treat Jiang Wan, his little sister, better.
After hearing this for so long, Jiang Zeyu had become annoyed.
He had always been at odds with Father Jiang, thus his grudge extended to Jiang Wan as well.
