The arrival of the Zerg Race and the allied other races didn't cause too much commotion. Except for a few no one even knew about their arrival. It was now evening and they were camping as it snows. They erected a big energy dome which separates them from the outside temperature keeping a normal temperature inside. There are now tents and bonfires erected within the energy barrier.

Those whose task is to prepare food were now all working for it. Some help the others make some tents and a temporary kitchen for their chefs.

Cid Warlock at the bonfire with a huge pot of mushroom soup was boiling over. The other leaders of the alliance were also around this bonfire. We were having a meeting as we ate.

One of the alliance leaders asked, "Your Majesty, what do you think is happening on this planet?"

"Something we don't know about and maybe something beyond our control. There is actually you need to hear about the scouts I've sent in the worlds the Beast Race had invaded before," said Zerg King Cid Warlock.

"Is there something wrong about those worlds?" asked by one of the Alliance leaders.

Solan, who led the scouting team for those worlds said, "Like in the reports, all warriors are killed. Only those who are weak, sick, young and old remain. The strangest thing about those worlds is that they are full of resources on their planet, but they don't dare to eat it. They said that something is wrong with those plants and animals. They said that their planet is cursed."

"Cursed? What does that mean?" another alliance leader said.

Solan responded, "We choose to believe them and left a few of our resources to them in exchange of the information. We took some samples about their so-called cursed food resources and sent them to the Hive for research. We should be able to receive the result in a few days."

"Why would their own food be considered cursed after the arrival of the Beast race on their planets? Did those beasts have terminal illness that's why they've gone crazy?"

"Maybe… but would an ill patient seek war?"

"They are beastmen. No different from barbarians."

"You have a point but that can't be said without proof."

It was at this time that the scouting team had returned. Some of them are wounded as if they were attacked by something. They were also dragging a few arctic foxes that wanted to attack them as a group. The rest at the camp were surprised by the situation of the scouting team.

"You mean as if they can differentiate you as targets? They would rather attack you than choose another easy prey?" said Solan.

Lucas said, "That's right. It's weird. As if they hunt not to eat, but hunt to kill."

"Anything different you noticed about these animals?" asked Zerg King Cid Warlock.

Lucas thought for a moment and pulled on his thread and brought one of the half-dead, crippled arctic fox he brought with them. As if the artic fox can't feel pain it continues to growl at Lucas and motion biting gestures.

Everyone saw the mutilated Arctic Fox after the spider thread was removed. It had broken limbs, even its neck bends in an unimaginable angle, yet this arctic fox remains alive as if it was a zombie. Upon seeing this scene everyone was shocked but the current situation. Only Cid Warlock noticed the strange grayish eyes of the arctic fox.

As if its original eyes were replaced with hazy light gray pupils which is not normal for an ordinary fox to possess.

Zerg King Cid Warlock said, "It's eyes… Can foxes have gray eyes?"

"Foxes only have brown or yellow eyes," responded Roan.

As if he found a sample that would give them the answers to their questions. Cid Warlock decided to inform the Hive about what is happening on the Federation Star and asked his teachers. It would be better of the Zerg Emperor and Zerg Empress to be around. They might have the answers to this strange occurrence on this planet.

Cid Warlock said, "Don't eat anything from this planet and only eat the ones we brought from the Hive! Until the investigation says that these animals are safe to eat no one can eat anything on this planet, whether its animals, fruits or plants. Don't try anything!"

Everyone also felt that this weird happenings in this world had something to do with why this arctic fox's eyes suddenly mutated in a weird shade. Plus, the information about the other invaded planets about the curse on their lands after the invasion of the Beast Race, they are half sure that this has something to do with this situation.

Cid Warlock said, "I agree. Please don't try consuming anything for now as we don't know if eating would transfer whatever made these animals crazy to another."
