Chapter 763
763 14.39 Last Violet Star – Calling his name.
The sudden arrival of Lu Yi surprised everyone but when they noticed the veiled Hei Anjing and Zhi Yue who wore the same clothes as Zhi Yang who appeared behind Yun Xiajie, everyone understood that they came together after the barrier was broken.
Chun Hongyun-Jun remained silent and stood in the corner watching Hei Anjing who was looking coldly at Gai Yin in the sky.
Lu Er said, “Brother Hei came too. Where is he?”
“There. He left to capture the devil,” said Lu Yi nonchalantly.
Sect Master Lu who heard that Hei Anjing came to look around and saw him looking at the humongous skeletal creature above their heads.
Lu Er asked, “Dage, isn’t that thing above our heads dangerous? I heard it wanted to self-destruct itself.”??ee???n૦?el com
“Don’t worry. A’Wuan is here. Chun Hongyun-Jun as well,” said Lu Yi.
Yun Huaxia and Bai Qiyin had also landed on the ground the moment Gai Yin had gone berserk. Bao Qiyin ran towards his brother leaving Yun Huaxia to have no other but to stand beside his younger brother who was silently watching Hei Anjing.
Bai Qiyin wanted to dive to hug his brother but a hand held his head preventing him from doing so.
.....
“Eh? Eh? Brother, let me hug~” says Bai Qiyin.
Hei Anjing didn’t speak but observed the irregular surge of Bai Qiyin’s qi. He frowned for a moment and said, “Though adding elemental qi with sword intent is not a bad technique. The ratio of sword qi and elemental qi must be reached. You’ve roughly measured both and unleashed an ice phoenix sword intent. But it was so unstable that caused your sword intent and elemental qi to reject each other. Don’t do such a stupid thing again!”
Scolded by his Senior Brother, Bai Qiyin could only lower his head as he received a flinch on his forehead as punishment.

Hei Anjing said, “I’ll scold you more later. Mediate at the side under the protection of your dao companion. I will clean things up here.”
“Brother, do you remember?!” asked Bai Qiyin.
“Talk later. Go to the side. Now!” said Hei Anjing.
“Wuwu~ I will. I will be okay!” said Bai Qiyin as he ran back to where Sect Master Yun was and started meditating.
Suddenly, Gai Yin who noticed the new arrivals from the human side cannot avoid sneering at them. He didn’t even notice his master, Tanlan tied up by black chains on the ground.
“More reinforcement? Good~ that means more human cultivators to die. Hahaha~ die mortals for killing my twin brother!!” said Gai Yin.
Hei Anjing murmured, “Winter, come forth.”
He didn’t even notice that the weather above Luan City had changed. In the middle of the night, snow suddenly started falling. Frost whom Gai Yin didn’t notice before finally felt the piercing coldness throughout his bones and couldn’t help shrieking in the evening sky.
Gai Yin mumbled “What is this? Snow?”
ARGH! AAGHHHH!!! SHRIEEEKSS~
Under everyone’s naked eyes they saw the snow that fell on Gai Yin slowly turning into ice. In just a few seconds parts of his bone body had been covered in ice. Seeing this Gai Yin looked down on the man with long black hair which was slowly turning white.
The land below his feet was covered in ice and snowflakes were dancing around him. His black robes made his already pale skin even whiter and only his lips had the shade of red. Like the sole cherry within the winter snow.
The snow falling above their heads gets stronger and all beings aside from humans were affected by coldness. Even the powerful Devil of Greed Tanlan was now covered in frost and was trembling nonstop as his limbs were constrained by black chains. He was unable to move but his human vessel is logically still affected by the coldness around him. His lips had long turned purple.
Gai Yin screams, “What are you? Who the h.e.l.l are you? Why are you able to control the weather in the human world!?”
“I can’t control the weather. But anything connected to ice is all under my control. This includes winter itself.”
“It would be bad if you choose to self-destruct. I can only freeze you wholly and melt you into a mist,” said Hei Anjing as his argent eyes suddenly glowed a silvery light and the ice on Gai Yin’s body spread even faster.
Before the devil could even beg his whole giant self was encapsulated within the ice. He could no longer scream the moment the ice in his body moved. Under everyone’s eyes, Gai Yin’s body broke apart, and in the sky like numerous stars appearing it faded under the black heavens.
Once the huge skeletal monster disappeared the shadows covering them disappeared. The moonlight s.h.i.+ned down illuminating the center of the forest but everyone’s eyes fell on one man.
His long white hair flutters on his back like white silk, his silver eyes are like diamonds. Pure and tantalizing. Though half of his face was covered with a thin black veil, even a mute wouldn’t deny his beauty. Unfortunately, his exquisite face was devoid of emotions. As if a living doll breathing yet no feelings.
Everyone instinctively held back their breathing the moment those eyes moved around them. Only it landed lasting on one person. Hei Anjing stares at this man with crimson irises. Yun Xiajie also stares at him.
No one breathed a word even Bai Jinhua wasn’t stupid enough not to recognize the man before him.
His eyes widened with shock as he covered his mouth to hide his gasp. Within the depths of that peach blossom eyes were fear, disbelief, and astonishment. Who would expect the man who died more than ten years ago to come back alive and even more extremely powerful than before?
Meanwhile, Hei Anjing waves his hand to imprison Tanlan within the ice. He was frozen inside but not dead. He can breathe but cannot move. The black chains faded as he was frozen. But the ice itself was restraining his strength, Tanlan couldn’t move at all inside the ice. Worse of all, the man who imprisoned him was not looking at him at all. He was ignored completely.
In Hei Anjing’s head were countless sweet memories but sadly he could understand the feeling behind them. Only a sharp pain in his heart remains as if something inside was sealed away.
He used his G.o.dly powers while his divinity was sealed. The backlash was so much that Hei Anjing felt pain all over his soul but his high tolerance for pain just made him suffer from dizziness and lethargy.
Intuitively he calls the only name ringing in his dizzy head,
“A’Xia?”
After calling the name with all his heart, Hei Anjing’s eyes slowly closed as his body tilted to fall down. His white hair once again turns black. He lost consciousness due to the backlash of using his divine powers in a mortal body.
“Finally... I found you, my... Jing’er...” whimpered Yun Xiajie.
Everyone was shocked to see him falling but faster than anyone, even faster than Zhi Yue who is only an arm away from his master, Yun Xiajie caught Hei Anjing within his embrace. He hugged him tightly and everyone could see his tears falling. Everyone felt tense and awkward. This was the first time in ten years or so that they’d seen a clear emotion on Xhun Hongyun-Jun’s face.
After Bai Wuan’s death, Yun Xiajie disappeared. Everyone says he lost his mind saying he was looking at every corner of the mortal realm for the reincarnation of his deceased lover. Everyone felt devastated especially his family and Sect. Until one day, he came back but as if he lost his soul he no longer showed any emotions on his face unless he was angered greatly and lost his temper. He buried himself with duties within the sect and even if Yun Huaxia tried to stop him from working, he would just leave the sect to help with external problems.
Because of this, Chun Hongyun-Jun was considered a savior in the Mortal Realm. He helps with subduing undead and ghosts, solving mysteries, and even killing monsters and mutated beasts. He worked himself to the bone that Yun Huaxia as his elder brother could only bring him back to the sect and allow him to continue his duties. At least within the sect, he can still control his madness for work. He can watch him eat and sleep on time. Even resting disappeared from this man’s daily life.
Now after waiting all this time, the person he had been waiting for had come back to his side. The oath the two had promised before had been continued in the next life of Bai Wuan.
Sect Master Yun upon seeing his brother’s state had ordered him to go back to the sect with their disciples. Bai Qiyin was at first against it. Even though his Senior Brother was no longer called Bai Wuan and instead Hei Wuan, the soul remains the same. For him, Hei Anjing is still his Senior Brother Bai Anjing. He wanted to bring back home his brother but was shot down by Yun Xiajie. He was given a death glare and an extremely fierce one that he could only hide behind his dao companion. In the end, Hei Anjing was brought away by Chun Hongyun-Jun.
The matter of cleaning up the scene was left to the Sect Masters of the alliance. They stayed all awake that night and the frozen Tanlan was brought back to the territory of the Lu Weifeng Sect.
The result of this event was all reported to the elders of each sect. But only the (Blue Fleeting Cloud Sect) Lan Zhuayun Sect received a report with extra information.

Former Great Elder of the (Blue Fleeting Cloud Sect) Lan Zhuayun Sect and younger brother of the old sect master, Yun Xiayu. Courtesy name: Yun Xiarou.

These two received the information about Hei Anjing’s return to the mortal realm and that their youngest descendant, Yun Xiajie is bringing home his future dao companion. But they’ve also heard about the circ.u.mstances of Hei Anjing. The fact that he couldn’t clearly remember anything of his past life and he lost his feelings of emotions.
The time they’ve got the letter from the current Sect Master Yun, Yun Huaxia.
At the pavilion within the (Blue Fleeting Cloud Sect) Lan Zhuayun Sect’s territory...
Old Sect Master Yun and the former Great Elder were playing chess surrounded by luscious green bamboo. There is also a steaming tea prepared for them to take. They were wearing the same mourning-like white robes with cloud patterns and their white beards were covering half of their faces.
The Former Great Elder Yun said, “Brother you can’t take back the stone you’ve put on the board!”
“It hasn’t landed yet. That was just my finger stretching on the board. I wasn’t cheating!” said Old Sect Master Yun.
Hmp!
“I don’t want to play anymore!”
The two old men were fighting like children until a messenger bird landed on their chess board completely destroying their game.
The Former Great Elder Yun grabbed the pigeon with an angered face, “You bird! How could you destroy my winning game!”
“Hahaha~ come one little brother. How can you be sure you are going to win if we hadn’t finished the game at all.” said the Old Sect Master Yun.
Hmp!
“Is this the report from Huaxia? Jieye is with him, there is no way something happened right?” said Yun Xiayu, the former great elder of the Bai Lengshui Sect.
A frown appeared on the Old Sect Master, Yun Huajie’s face, and said, “What did it say?”
Yun Xiayu unrolled the message after seeing that it was personally written by his eldest nephew. He was calm in the beginning, he frowned when he got to the part where the devil race had appeared and a shocked but excited expression appeared on his face when he read that last paragraph.
“B-Brother... Brother... He... He... That child... That child is back!!!” Exclaimed Yun Xiayu even forgetting the rules of his own sect.
