Chapter 426 Dracula’s Castle END
[BONUS]
Trixie sneered. “Heh. Don’t make me laugh. We know that it’s your feeble attempt to scare us.”
“It’s a cat’s last purr before dying,” added Robert with a snicker, making the others laugh.
“Listen here, Orc.” Trixie stepped forward and pointed her polished nails against Ragnar. “You better leave now if you don’t want pai–!”
Ragnar’s weapon soared like a hunting bird, ripping into Dark Python’s group like talons. The shot whistled in the air as it sliced through multiple players with a macabre snick.
A masterfully timed shot, which landed with an almost pleasant-sounding thunk, made Trixie and her team flew into the air like a duckpin hit by a bowling ball.
Since Trixie was in the front, she took most of the brunt of Ragnar’s attack. In just a blink, she suddenly found herself in the air, and she couldn’t tell what was happening as the surroundings flipped before her eyes.
Before she burst into particles, she saw a half of her severed body.
“T-Trixie!” Robert was shocked, and so were the other players who were left in their ranks.
In just a single attack, half of Dark Python’s members got dismembered and died.
Silvia was just as shocked and whipped her head in Ragnar’s way. When did he become so strong?

With Ren leading them, Silvia’s interest was piqued. He even managed to sway the stone-faced cold fiancé of hers into his group.
“You should have helped me if you’re that strong,” Silvia muttered with lips puckering out. “But you just have to make it hard for me and make me beg.”
“You’re so troublesome,” Ragnar commented.
“Is that how you should speak to your fiancée?”
Ragnar finally spared Silvia a glance. “Are you really sure you want to waste your time on this useless chatter?”
He then nodded at the front. “They’re escaping.”
Silvia s.h.i.+fted her attention and found Dark Python sneakily retreating. When they felt that she finally noticed, everyone made a dash for it.
“Hoi!” Silvia was about to give chase but decided against it and laughed instead. “Heh. Bunch of cowards.”
Ragnar turned and left and Silvia immediately gave chased.
“Hey! Wait up!”
“Why are you still bothering me?”
“How rude. Haven’t you noticed? I’m alone. Are you really okay leaving your fiancée alone in a horror house?”
“You should message your friends.”
Silvia blinked, and she smacked her fist against her palms as if the idea had just occurred to her. “Ah. You’re right.”
While humming, Silvia messaged Pamela and the others.
“Stop following me,” Ragnar said when he noticed that Silvia was still tailing him.
“Don’t be so mean.” Silvia chuckled and smoothly slipped her hand into Ragnar’s. “Accompany me for a while until we reach the atrium. Pamela and the others are there.”
Staring at Silvia’s bright smile, Ragnar remembered when they were little.
She was always a proper lady in front of everybody, but deep inside, she was just a kid who terrorized him wherever he went.
Though he wondered . . . why he chose her in the end.
Ragnar took a deep breath and muttered, “How troublesome.”
Yet he didn’t let go of her hand.
—-
In Chaos Realm, Dracula was squatting on the floor as he sobbed into his hands.
Ren stared down at him with his judging eyes. “So, let’s get this straight . . . Lucy is your soon-to-be wife who got kidnapped by a group of players.”
Dracula nodded. “Yes. I was very careful in placing her in a tower with a lot of my servants guarding her place day in and out . . . but this wretched players still managed to find her!”
“Well . . . if you put her in a tower, players would definitely search that first,” Evie said with a matter-of-fact tone.
Dracula wailed and choked between sobs.
Ren sighed. “Why don’t you just teleport where she is? This is your castle, right? You should know where she is.”
Evie nodded in agreement.
Dracula looked at them with his tear-and-snot-covered face. “I know, right? I’m the master of this castle. I should know where she is! But I can’t find her! Waaahhhh! What kind of lord am I?”
Ren and Evie briefly stared at each other before Ren said, “Any idea why that is?”
Dracula paused, and his aura instantly changed. Tiny red droplets of blood hovered around him and twirled, forming into something that looked like fine silk.
When the Vampire Lord raised his head, his face was serious, eyes bloodshot in anger and fangs baring with lethal intent as he hissed his next words.
“It must be that Bolmont guy! He is the only person I know that has the ability to hide their presence.”
For a time, Ren and Evie had a glimpse of the true face of the Vampire Lord, and they felt a cold grip crawling on their skin.
Evie was excited. Would he change his appearance now?
However, her hopes were crushed when the Vampire Lord reverted to his wimpy, emo, blood-sucking self.
“Do you have a guess as to where they might be?” asked Ren.
Bolmont must be an NPC and sided with the players.
It looked like they had to face a bunch of players this time. Their team taking the Vampire Lord’s side versus Bolmont and the players.
Long and pointy crimson nails hovered over Dracula’s pale but s.h.i.+ny lips. “I-I think they’re in the Chapel. That’s the only place that I can’t enter.”
“You know, but you didn’t go there yourself?” asked Evie, and Dracula gasped like he was. .h.i.t with a spike straight to his heart.
The Vampire Lord went on all fours, his head low while he wept. “It’s because I’m too depressed and scared to even move.”
“. . . Huh?”
“I have placed a barrier on Lucy’s tower. No creature could ever take her away from there . . . except if she wanted to go herself.”
Evie was surprised though her lashes remained half closed. “She left you willingly?”
Dracula sadly smiled. “Yes. And I’m too scared to go and hear from her own lips that she really wanted to get away from me.”
“I would, too, if I was locked in a tower,” commented Evie.
Dracula clutched his head and screamed his heart out. “I didn’t lock her! She’s free to roam around the castle as long as I accompany her! Sure, she can’t leave and go anywhere if I’m not around, but still!”
Evie ignored the Vampire Lord and looked over at Ren. “What now?”
Ren was silent for a moment before a smile made its way into his lips.
“Let’s go and retrieve Lucy.”
