Chapter 32 - A new semster
A week later, all schools across the Empire started up again.
Lin Yuan wanted the Royal Guards to send Luo Fei to school, but Luo Fei wanted to keep a low profile, so he set off with his younger brother, Luo Ning, instead of bringing the guards.
The two did not take a pa.s.senger s.p.a.ces.h.i.+p, and used Chongming to fly over, which saved a lot of time.
Luo Fei was admitted to the best military academy in the Empire – St. Romia Military Academy, which is also his fathers’ alma mater.
Luo Ning did not enter a military academy. He has liked reading since he was a child, including various legendary novels, and has a strong interest in literature. Instead, he pa.s.sed the entrance exam of Hermann University and entered the literature department there.
St. Romia Military Academy’s regulations are extremely strict, because all students who graduate will have military status in the future, so they’re trained in accordance with the requirements of soldiers. But Hermann University is different. This school is a newly established comprehensive university after the imperial reform more than 20 years ago. Alphas, betas, and omegas can study here. Hermann University is open and free, with many specializations. Among them, the business, computing, and literature departments have some of the best professors in the Empire.
Both Hermann University and St. Romia Military Academy are located in Yaoguang Starfield, which is also where most schools in the Empire are concentrated. However, the two schools are on different planets. It takes an hour to fly over in a normal mech, while it only takes Chongming half an hour.
Luo Fei first sent his younger brother to Hermann University — like an older brother, he even brought Luo Ning to the dormitory to help him settle his luggage.
Since Luo Ning’s roommates weren’t there, Luo Fei told his younger brother: “The school will keep your ident.i.ty strictly confidential based on father’s instructions. Except for those who have met you, other students don’t know that you are the Second Prince. But you are an omega after all, good-looking and talented, there will definitely be many people chasing you. Have you figured out how to deal with it?”
Luo Ning said flatly, “I’m not interested in dating. There are so many books in the library, and I can’t read them all in four years. I don’t have time to deal with those alphas.”
“Then you should just spend time in the library every day.” Luo Fei smiled and stroked the hair of his brother who loved books.
Luo Ning avoided his hand and looked at him displeased. “We’re twins. You were only born five minutes earlier than me, don’t always act like a big brother and rub my hair, okay?”
Luo Fei withdrew his hand with a smile, and said, “Your hair is very soft and feels very good.”
Luo Ning rolled his eyes at him, and said calmly: “I will help you pay attention to Senior Mo Han. If someone confesses to him, I will tell you as soon as possible.”
Luo Fei nodded: “Okay. If there is an alpha bothering you, you should tell me immediately, and I will come help you solve it.”
The two brothers smiled at each other and reached an agreement tacitly.
Luo Fei turned around and said, “I’m leaving, you take care of yourself at school.”
Luo Ning nodded: “En, the special training in the military academy is very hard, you have to hang on too, brother.”
Luo Fei raised his eyebrows confidently, and said, “That bit of hard work won’t bother me. I’m used to being beaten and am very resistant to it.”
Luo Ning suppressed a smile and said, “Then you should go first. Goodbye.”

Luo Fei left Hermann University and promptly reported to St. Romia Military Academy.
This school is located on an important military base. In addition to the military academy, the Rose Legion, one of the five major armies of the Empire, is also stationed here. Moreover, large-scale military exercises are also held here annually. When the time comes, grandpa, father, and others may also come to partic.i.p.ate.
As soon as he arrived, Luo Fei immediately felt the solemn atmosphere, completely different from the ease and freedom of Hermann University.
There is a statue standing at the gate of the school, like an eagle in flight. This is the landmark building of the St. Romia Military Academy with hundreds of years of history.
After entering the school, except for the freshmen who came to report, everyone was dressed in neat military uniforms. When they walked, they were tall and straight, with the decisive and resolute demeanor of an imperial soldier.
Following the other students, Luo Fei registered, went through a detailed physical examination, and received two sets of suitable military uniforms, before arriving at the student dormitory area.
As soon as he entered the door, he saw a tall boy coming out of the bedroom. The two looked at each other.
Luo Fei took the initiative to say h.e.l.lo: “Are you my roommate? h.e.l.lo.”
The other party nodded politely, and said coldly, “h.e.l.lo, Your Royal Highness.”
Luo Fei was a little surprised: “You know me?”
The other party said: “I met you at your birthday party before. My name is Ludwig, and I am the son of General Michael of the Star Legion.”
There were too many guests at the birthday party. Luo Fei naturally couldn’t meet everyone, but he knew about General Michael, one of the few three-star generals in the Empire. Luo Fei also heard that General Michael had a son, but his personality was rather dull, and seldom appears in public. Unexpectedly, they became roommates.
He has handsome features, but his expression is indifferent, and he doesn’t look easy to get along with.
Luo Fei smiled and stretched out his hand and said, “h.e.l.lo. We will live in the same dormitory for the next few years and should take care of each other.”
Ludwig only said one word: “Yeah.”
He really is the same as rumored, a dull gourd who doesn’t like to talk.
But Luo Fei doesn’t mind as long as there’s no conflicts between roommates. It’s enough to have a harmonious dorm atmosphere; they don’t need to be confidants.

The next day, the St. Romia Military Academy held an entrance ceremony for freshmen. Everyone wore military uniforms and took an oath in the auditorium.
Although Luo Fei was raised by his father according to the strict requirements of a soldier since he was a child, it was his first time in formal military uniform.
The young man in the mirror was radiant, and the dark blue military uniform made his figure even taller and more slender. Because military uniforms can enhance people’s aura, Luo Fei looked a little less youthful, and a little more stable and capable.
His roommate Ludwig looked like a cold and ascetic soldier, with a cold and expressionless face.
The two came to the auditorium, surrounded by freshmen all neatly dressed in military uniform.
The entrance ceremony officially started at 8 a.m. All freshmen read the oath to the badge of the military department, which represented that they’ve become soldiers of the Empire from today onwards.
After the swearing-in ceremony, freshmen of different majors immediately began a one-month special training.
In addition to the necessary skills such as fighting, shooting, and mechs, as a military command student, Luo Fei also has simulated battlefield training. All command students will enter a holographic battlefield and fight against the enemy. Many freshmen have no foundation in this area, and were beaten to pieces, their mechs exploding everywhere.
In one month, freshmen must master basic tactical skills.
This is a test of mental strength. After constant bombardment from the enemy, freshmen with weaker wills may have a psychological breakdown.
The mental training is extremely harsh, and the physical training is also very cruel. Hunger training allows the students to maintain calm judgment even if they have not eaten for several days in a row. They have to bear sneak attacks from instructors and stay alert at all times despite their state of exhaustion. If they’re caught they will have to repeat the training…
After this grueling month, those freshmen who successfully pa.s.sed have shed a layer of skin.
Under such high-intensity training, they fell asleep almost immediately after returning to the dormitory. Everyone was exhausted, and every minute of rest must be cherished.
But Luo Fei is different.
After returning to the dormitory every night, he would connect to the game cabin, log in to the game and spend an hour playing with Frank and Kathleen.
This holographic game is actually very tiring. The holographic environment is very real, and players must use their full concentration to ensure they will not be killed by other players.
He did not shelve his plan because of his month-long training.
Because he wants to grow up as soon as possible, become a responsible man, and pursue the person he likes.
He was full of motivation thinking about Mo Han.
————
Half a month later, when Luo Fei started up the game cabin, he accidentally discovered that there was an extra person in Frank’s team, whose ID was “MH”.
It’s Mo Han!
The team matched up and entered the dungeon. Looking at Mo Han beside him, Luo Fei’s excitement was beyond description.
Mo Han used his own appearance in the game, so the person in front of him is exactly the same as the real Mo Han, with handsome features and a 180cm height.
Instead of wearing formal trousers and s.h.i.+rt, he had a white vest on his upper body, showing his beautiful arms. The vest is tucked into his trousers, making his waist look extra lean, and there was an equipment bag hanging on the waist to store bullets.
Mo Han like this was still so handsome that Luo Fei couldn’t take his eyes off him.
Luo Fei resisted the urge to jump over and hug him, pretending to be calm and said: “Who is this?”
Frank introduced: “Our captain, Mo Han. School just started a few days ago, so he was busy before, and is finally free to come online today.”
Mo Han’s calm voice came next to his ears: “This Mr. F, is it the teammate you mentioned who is particularly good at fighting?”
Frank said: “That’s right, he has been playing hard mode with us for half a month, and can get first place every time.”
Mo Han looked at Mr. F next to him using the system default appearance in the game.
But at this time, the smile on that face was extraordinarily bright as he stretched out his hand with a smile. “Hi captain, I’m a new teammate, please take care of me.”
Mo Han stretched out his hand to shake it, not thinking too much about his ident.i.ty, thinking that he was just a powerful teammate Frank met in the game.
It’s just that this guy’s smiling face is too bright.
How could the expression on a default system face be so vivid?
The author has something to say:1the original author’s small theatre. There’s quite fun, so I left a few of them in.
A long time later when Mo Han finally knew the truth, he had a splitting headache.
Mo Han: Why did I give him a game pod?
Mo Han: After I lifted a rock and hit my left foot, I lifted a rock and hit my right foot again?
Luo Fei: ^_^ ^_^ ^_^
Luo Fei is really resistant to beatings lol
