Chapter 721: Chapter 721: Uncle is Angry
After she had spoken to the uncle, he seemed to get angry and didn’t say a word to her on the way back. Once they reached Li Garden, he went straight to the study.
Staring at the uncle’s retreating back.
It seemed like the uncle was genuinely angry—what should she do? She had to find a way to coax him.
Jian Dan spent the whole night awake, tossing and turning in bed, thinking of ways to appease the uncle.
