Chapter 754: Chapter 754: This is My Room
“Jian, accompany me to the restroom!” Before Jian Dan could respond, Xiaoting had already pulled her away from their seats.
“Xiaoting, you haven’t said what you’ll eat yet!” Ouyang Jing called out loudly.
“The same as Jian Yi!” Xiaoting didn’t even turn her head as she threw out that response.
Once the two entered the restroom, Xiaoting stared straight at Jian Dan… “Xiaoting, why are you looking at me like that? Didn’t you have to use the restroom?” Although Jian Dan knew Xiaoting hadn’t brought her out just for that, she still deliberately played dumb.
“What do you think?” Xiaoting crossed her arms over her chest and looked at Jian Dan with annoyance.
“I think you’ve spent so much time with me you’ve been a.s.similated and need to clear out before eating!” Jian Dan said with a smile.
But Xiaoting couldn’t muster a smile at all. “Jian~” Xiaoting’s voice rose an entire octave.
“Alright, alright! No more joking.
Besides, what did I even do just now? I just helped Teacher Zhu order a meal, he’s new here today and surely doesn’t know what’s good. I don’t see a problem with that, I think you’re overthinking it!”
“But…”
“No buts. If it were a female teacher today, you wouldn’t see a problem, would you?”
“You seem to have a point!”
“It’s not just a point, it makes perfect sense, so stop overthinking!
Are you going to use the restroom or not? If not, I’m going back to eat noodle soup, I’m starving.” Jian Dan patted her belly.
“Let’s go back then!”
When they returned, they found that the noodle soup had already been served, but no one had started eating.
“Why aren’t you all eating? You didn’t need to wait for us!” Jian Dan said, sitting down on her stool.
“Eating? It’s more lively with everyone together!” Zhang Yang spoke up first.

Jian Dan could only pretend nothing was amiss and continued eating her noodles, not daring to lift her head.
Meal times usually felt like they flew by, but today it seemed exceptionally long.
After dinner, Jian Dan went straight back to her dorm without any delay.
She didn’t want to listen to Xiaoting’s ramblings any longer.
After coming out from was.h.i.+ng up, and lying on the bed ready to sleep, she suddenly heard noise coming from the room’s balcony.
Jian Dan’s nerves instantly tensed up…

Jian Dan got up and tiptoed towards the balcony…
If it’s a thief, then he’s picked the wrong target.
A shadow flashed by, and Jian Dan lashed out with a kick, but it was caught steadily by the other person.

“But this is the girls’ dormitory!
And it’s the fourth floor, how did you get up here, Uncle?” Jian Dan looked down from the balcony and then stepped inside as well.
“Could a height like this really stop me?”
“It seems not!” Who is Uncle, after all.
Chu Liyuan sat on Jian Dan’s bed and looked up at her.
“But this is the girls’ dormitory, what if someone discovers you?”
“So what if they do?” They were a legally married couple, after all.
