Chapter 28 Part 1
“Well then, let's begin. I've five bullets with me in total, let's see how many bullets you can dodge.”
“Jie!”
Around five minutes later, after I became aware of the “Missing Rei” incident, Wu De and most of the villagers had returned to the square to prepare for the actual combat test.
Holding his wooden sword in his hands, Wu De took a deep breath, and stared intently at the “enemy” in front of him without any sort of sloppiness in his eyes.
“Hmm, that's a nice look you have there.” Facing off against such an earnest young man, Dairo couldn't help but marveled: “In an actual combat, what you are doing right now should always be what you should do as after all, the enemy will not be reasonable. In every enemy attack, the enemy will always attempt to aim at your flaws, and launch their attack when you least expect it… ”
Bang!
Just like what Dairo said, he did not give any sort of hints as he launched his attack whilst he simultaneously praised Wu De. A bullet carrying a pungent burning smell flew towards Wu De without any trace of mercy as if it was an attack from the Dragon G.o.d.
In this instant, Wu De's body was petrified, and Wu De did not do any dodging action that shows that he was going to avoid the bullet.
“What a pity… Hmm?” Right then, no matter if it was Dairo or us, we were all stunned by Wu De's subsequent action.
One could clearly see that the young man with the tecolored hair instantly moved. He captured the trajectory of the bullet and tilted his blade in an angle. The specially made bullet instantly ricocheted to the ground.
The whole process was done in one fell sweep. Wu De had a extremely relaxed expression on his face as well.
Hey… This is the “Magic Federation” right?
This place isn't the “Mountain Kingdom” right?
The local specialty here is “mages”, and not “warriors” right?
Wu De, when did you learn this move? If you are the citizen of the Magic Federation, you should practice your magic, and don't be derelict in duty, okay?
Incidentally, I could already feel the nauseating aura of Di Yana a distance of more than 10 people away from here. At the edge of her trance-like smile, her saliva kept dripping down. I'm afraid that the whole world would probably be reduced to ashes, if her saliva were acid.
When Dairo saw Wu De's action, he froze for a moment, and then smiled.
“Seriously… I didn't expect this kind of situation would happen. I always thought there was no way you lot could dodge my shots. I was just trying to see all your attempts of resistance before getting hit, and then give a score based on how your attempts were.” Davis nodded after he finished his words. As an adventurer, his interest seemed to have been ignited by Wu De's brilliant performance.
Wait a minute. Dairo, did you just mention that you are going to attack us even though you knew full well that we can't dodge your bullets? This is plain torturing, isn't it? It's time for us to report you to the Adventurer Guild.
d.a.m.n corn demon, you shall die an insufferable death!
Time continued to flow during their leisure conversation.
36 minutes has pa.s.sed already…
An inexplicable anxiety took over my heart. I crouched down on the path of the outer perimeter of the square with my right foot shaking in an extremely unnatural way.
