Super Soldier King Chapter 96: Wife's Younger Brother

"Heehee, it looks like iceberg big sister Yue has melted." Hu Ke giggled mischievously as she spoke.

Qin Yue did not comment and smiled, she did not confirm whether or not it was true.

"Sis, do you like him? What is so good about this fellow, he is just a country b.u.mpkin." Qin Feng said. Ye Qian did not notice earlier but a fellow had returned with them just now. They had been caught up in the moment that they forgot about him.

Qin Yue looked at Qin Feng and said, "Shut your mouth. If you want to keep saying nonsense you can take a hike."

Qin Feng stuck out his tongue and obediently didn't say anymore. Zhao Ya smiled in a pleased manner at the sight of this little demon giving up. She couldn't help swallowing back saliva as she looked at the table laden with lots of delicious food. "I almost can't control myself anymore, did you guys know that the food this rogue can make tastes better than food made by restaurant's chef."

"How do you know that?" Qin Yue asked in surprise.

Zhao Ya replied, "Yesterday morning he prepared soybean paste noodles for us for breakfast. It was the best soybean paste noodles I've ever had. If this fella were to go be a chef I'm sure he'd be really awesome."

"Really? Then how come I didn't see any bowl of soybean paste noodles?" Qin Yue wasn't stupid, she guessed that Zhao Ya most certainly ate her share, so she asked this question teasingly..

Zhao Ya forced a laugh and said, "It was really just so good I couldn't help eating your share."

"So what if he can cook well, he's still a country b.u.mpkin. We don't even know if the food is clean or not." Qin Feng muttered.

Qin Yue glared at him angrily and Qin Feng immediately obediently shut up. In his own house this little demon was not afraid of everything, the only thing he was afraid of was Qin Yue. Qin Yue had only to glare at him once and this fella would immediately be meek like h.e.l.lO KITTY.

Not long later, Ye Qian eagerly entered the dining area. He looked cautious as he held a white object clasped in both hands, it was unclear what it was. He sat in front of Qin Yue and carefully pa.s.sed the object over. "For you, do you like it?"

Everybody looked and a saw a white rabbit carved out of some unknown material. Qin Yue extended her hands and accepted it. Ye Qian said a little hurriedly, "Careful, this was made with tofu, it will mess up easily."

Everybody became stupefied. Using a tofu to make a perfect little rabbit, that really needed excellent knife skills, lots of attention to detail and patience.

"Thank you, this is the most special and precious gift I have ever received in my entire life." Qin Yue said, moved.

Ye Qian chuckled and replied, "But there's no way to preserve this gift."

"Don't worry, I will keep in it my mind forever." Qin Yue said as she looked at Ye Qian tenderly.

"我也要！"赵雅嘟着嘴说道，好歹自己也是叶谦名正言顺没过门的妻子吧，这小子竟然给其他女人送礼物却不送给自己，太藐视自己的存在了。

"I want one too!" Zhao Ya said, pouting. In any case wasn't she technically Ye Qian's fiancee. This fellow unexpectedly gave another woman a present and not to herself, it was looking down on herself too much.

"None!" Ye Qian shot her a look and said.

"Hmph, I wouldn't want it anyway." Zhao Ya angrily huffed.

"Hey, aren't you guys hungry? I'm so hungry my stomach is about to stick to my back." Qin Feng mumbled.

Only now did Ye Qian notice that there was another person in the room. With a blank face he turned around and discovered the boy he had accidentally hit with a basketball that morning, the "Rukawa". Since he had entered the door, Qin Feng had only been looking at Ye Qian indifferently, it was also quite dark, so he didn't really pay too much attention. Only now did he notice that this person was unexpectedly the guy who had hit him with a basketball that afternoon. He stared dumbly, cried out and then stood up and said, "f.u.c.k, it's really inevitable for enemies to meet. We'll walk, let's go out, let's spar."

Zhao Ya who had long figured out what was going on couldn't stop giggling, Qin Yue and Hu Ke could only look around in surprise. "You know each other?" Qin Yue turned to Ye Qian and asked in astonishment.

"We've played basketball." Ye Qian chuckled and replied casually.

Qin Feng thought to himself, "Played basketball? So you hit me with a basketball?"

"Oh! Qin Yue said. "This is my younger brother, Qin Feng."

Ye Qian became speechless, it turned out he was his "little brother-in-law". He chuckled and extended a hand and said, "Turns out you're little bro, let me introduce myself properly, my name is Ye Qian, 'modesty' is my name*."

"Tch!" Qin Feng glared at Ye Qian in disdain and turned his head away.

Qin Yue knitted her brows and glared and Qin Feng angrily. Qin Feng's mouth twitched as he unwilling extended his hand and grasped Ye Qian's for a handshake. Seeing Ye Qian's harmless face, an idea suddenly flashed across Qin Feng's mind. With a chuckle he said , "My name is Qin Feng, top of the mountain*!" As he said this, he slowly increased the force in his grasp, obviously planning on humiliating Ye Qian in front of everybody.

How could Ye Qian not know this fellow's evil plans. He smiled calmly and had no choice but to increase the strength of this own handshake. A moment later, Qin Feng felt his own hand was being clamped by a hot iron, the pain was difficult to bear, but to lose face was unthinkable so he continued to bear it. Beads of sweat formed on his forehead. He forcefully tried to draw his arm away but discovered that he couldn't pull it out. Qin Feng felt quite at a loss. If you ride a tiger it is hard to get off, he could only hope against hope that Ye Qian would relent and not keep giving him a hard time.

When he knew that Qin Feng couldn't bear it anymore Ye Qian stopped using lots of force. After all, he could really be his Little Uncle in the future. He had to give him a little face. At a moment when Qin Feng tried to pull his arm away with great force Ye Qian suddenly let go, Qin Feng completely lost balance and nearly fell to the floor. Ye Qian supported him and chuckled, "Don't get so excited, we'll have a chance to get to know each other better in the future."

Qin Feng gave Ye Qian a look, thinking, excited bulls.h.i.+t. But a wise man knows not to fight when the odds are against him, so for now he could only endure.

Qin Yue could see clearly, but did not say anything about it. Qin Feng was a little devil that was not afraid of anything in heaven and earth. Having somebody sort him out a bit wasn't a bad thing, it will help keep him from getting arrogant.

"Alright, everybody eat!" Qin Yue said.

After Qin Yue said these words, Ye Qian became shocked as he saw Zhao Ya frantically stuff her mouth full of food. At first Hu Ke had taken a couple of bites in a very refined manner, but then she soon followed Zhao Ya's example, not at all caring about her own image as a lady.

* - The "Qian" (谦) in Ye Qian is one of the characters for modesty. Similarly, Qin Feng's "Feng" (峰) means peak or top of a mountain.
