Chapter 23 : Nagaraja

A sphere of fire appeared in front of Lucis.

"Good. You did well."

Velke praised Lucis's effort and rewarded him by stroking his head affectionately.

"Horay! I want to become strong like father so I can protect Maou-sama too!" Lucis said bashfully.

"Ruin wants to become strong too!"

"Serena too!"

The other velluclesis children chimed in, they were raising their hand into the air cutely.

"And then, I will be able to receive lots of Maou-sama's love like father does!" Lucis added, his eyes was gleaming while looking at me.

Velke in return, laughed cheerfully while saying," You can't."

Somehow, his smile didn't match his laugh.

"Father, you're so unfair! Then I want to tend to Maou-sama in the morning!"

"That's my duty." Velke replied curtly.

"Then during bath time! I want to help Maou-sama bathe!"

"That's also my duty."

"Uuugh.. Then I want to pat pat Maou-sama's head when he's about to sleep!"

"Unfortunately, that is also my duty."

Lucis tried to bargain with his father but to no avail.

"The chance to spoil Maou-sama is already scarce enough as it is. I won't turn over my privilege to pamper Maou-sama ever. "

The children immediately responded with chorus of "Father is so unfair!" and boo-ed at Velke but Velke determination was as solid as rock.

Oi Velke, your opponent is a bunch of children.. You should've become the bigger person and relented, right??

Well then since it was almost afternoon, time to call the next demonkind I guess.

I used [Detection], the one closest to me right now was a Nagaraja huh.

I summoned him to the castle and not long after that a beautiful young man came. The bottom half of his body was in the shape of a snake, while the top half of his body was in the shape of a human. His chest was clad in tribal ornaments which complimented his ethereal feature perfectly.

His light blue hair swayed as he slithered close to me, his turquoise eyes without any white part looked like a jewel against the light.

"That's right. Pledge your loyalty to me and I will grant you a family."

I waited but the nagaraja didn't reply me.

I guess, this meant he refused me?

"So, what's your answer?" I asked once again.

"……………….. I accept." The nagaraja took a while before he murmured slowly while bowing his head to me.

"Great! Okay I will grant you a family now. What's your name?"

"……………. Narukurugazado." (T/N: At first I thought he was speaking gibberish or some sort of ancient spell.)

"Your name is too long… Is it alright if I call you Naru instead?"

"…… It's alright."

So… I guess Naru was a man with few words huh..

I asked Naru to follow me to the mating room, he obediently slithered behind me.

"Umm, this is the mating room. We will do our intercourse here, is that alright with you?"

"…… It's alright."

Naru replied as he removed the ornaments adoring his body. His body was covered in tribal ornaments from the top of his humanoid chest to the bottom of his snake tail. The ornaments was decorated with jewels in various different color. He placed each of the ornaments side to side on the nearby desk dutifully.

I also promptly took my clothes off and waited for Naru on the bed.

Slowly, Naru slithered toward the bed after he finished undressing.

Naru preened closer, his gem like eyes was gazing at me intensely.

Suddenly, his lips parted, revealing a long tongue parted in the middle. He licked my cheeks experimentally, it was a little ticklish as his long, smooth tongue smothered me.

"So unrefined.." Naru whispered, he pushed me down so I was laying on my back  

Naru barely talk, his eyes also showed no clear emotions but from the way he pushed me down, I knew he didn't find me disagreeable.
