Li Qiye’s expression turned serious as he stopped drinking and appeared before her.

He immediately tore her robe off, revealing two proud, radiant snow lotuses blossoming with red pistils.

She was startled but didn’t stop him. Sure enough, his hand released light seeping into the wound.

Lightning bolts with a black glow appeared as a reaction to his primordial light, being forced to stop their invasion. They had no place to hide and eventually, attempted to escape.

He was faster and caught all of them, pressing his palms together and turning them into a single pond of lightning.

When taking a closer look, each drop of water seemed to contain black lightning bolts. This black power was different from darkness and didn’t seem to be evil. It appeared to be a punishment, delivered to suppress or seal something.

“Buzz.” Li Qiye sent more primordial rays into the black ocean, peeling out this unknown affinity.

“Boom!” The ocean erupted and a heavenly tribulation manifested into reality.

The woman was strong but she trembled, feeling her body breaking down. The black bolts contained a power beyond comprehension.

For example, the high heaven didn’t allow anyone or anything to comprehend its power and secrets. Punishments and tribulations descended once violated.

The black bolts seemed to have something like it as well. They tried to explode but his primordial power forcefully calmed them down.

“Pop!” The tribulation power was forced back into the miniature ocean and he continued the separating process, removing the black bolts from the source.

They roared like primal beasts between his palms, wanting to devour him and his primordial power along with the rest of the world.

Unfortunately, it couldn’t break free from his grasp and was reduced to nothingness.

“Rumble!” His destruction of the bolts caused a reaction from the deepest crevices above. However, they couldn’t descend to this area.

Nevertheless, the woman noticed their presence above and became frightened.

Li Qiye, on the other hand, didn’t bother looking up at the imposing gathering. His focus was on the leftover ent.i.ty - a drop of water that was no longer infected by the unknown affinity.

It contained a boundless life force attuned to nature. It wasn’t cultivated through cultivation nor was something similar to a sprout turning into a sky-blotting tree with time.
