The inferno gained a miasma as a result, capable of seeping into the momentum and turning defenders into blood.

“Hmph.” An old man behind the barrier wearing a cheap robe that could be found anywhere soared upward.

He inhaled from a tobacco pipe and released embers in all directions. They burned the miasma and flew toward the attacker.

The remnant power of the miasma in combination with the flames turned into a tsunami, breaking through the specter saint’s defense and knocking him to the ground.

“Bam!” He rolled repeatedly on the ground, attempting to extinguish the flames around him.

“Sky Tree City, we will remember this.” The old man said before attacking with his tobacco pipe, intending on crus.h.i.+ng the specter saint into a meat paste.

He did not hold back and attempted to kill the specter saint in the first exchange.

“Fellow Daoist Smoke Fiend, don’t be so merciless now.” A Buddhist light erupted and a gigantic palm blocked the descending pipe.

Everyone saw a Buddha with waves of light emanating from him. However, his eyes lacked holiness and resembled the abyss. It was unwise to keep staring.

“Buddhist Fiend!” The ancestor known as Smoke Fiend didn’t like this development.

The Buddha had a kind smile but his rotating pupils scared the h.e.l.l out of everyone.

“Brother, we both have the word ‘fiend’ in our t.i.tle. Let us fight today so I can have a taste of your Blazing Spark Dao.” The Buddha said.

He wasn’t an actual Buddha nor did he cultivate wit this affinity. He was a member of the heavenly Buddha race, hence his appearance. He was one of the strongest desolate G.o.ds of Witch King with a st.u.r.dy anima.

The anima stages were the same as emperors’ - infancy, st.u.r.dy, stately, and world’s canopy.

“Die!” Smoke Fiend immediately changed his pipe into a spear for a fierce thrust.

His twelve sacred fruits and a tree appeared, displaying his power at the infancy level. The spear spewed out destructive sparks along the way, looking like meteors.

“Blazing Spear!” He roared and went all out.

“Bring it.” Buddha Fiend placed his palms together and chanted, activating his fruits and sacred tree as well.
