Chapter 11: Waiting For You
As the judges discussed their decision, the four finalists jumped around with excitement and embraced each other .
The host finally announced the winner and made Tang Xiaoxi stay behind on the stage .
Immediately, Su Xi ran over to congratulate him and gift him flowers . The media witnessed her actions and were astonished . To be related to such a top tier actress, Xiaoxi indeed was not an ordinary child!
Little Xi gave her a small kiss on the cheek and held the host’s hand . The host crouched down to meet eyes with him and asked with a huge smile, “Little boy, how do you feel after winning the first place?”
“Um… Uncle, May I borrow your microphone?”
“Of course! However, Uncle will have someone give you your own mic . You can say whatever you want!”
“Thank you, Uncle!” He exclaimed cutely .
Tang Siyu and Su Xi looked at each other in surprise . They never thought Little Xi would be brave enough to give a speech .
Tang Siyu was worried sick, she never thought of preparing Little Xi for an acceptance speech . She could only hope that nothing would go wrong .
However, she was extremely curious too .
The small child held the microphone tightly and tried speaking, “Hi… . h.e.l.lo!”
Everyone watching him couldn’t help but squeal at his cuteness . Even the host giggled and said, “So cute!”
Xiaoxi looked at the staff handling the cameras with a grin and said, “Uncle! Auntie! I want everybody to see me!”
Right after that, he reached out with his small hands and turned the lens of the camera in his direction . The audience erupted into loud laughter, enjoying his cute antics .
Tang Siyu’s anxiety shot up through the roof . She worriedly asked, “Su Xi, just what in the world is he trying to pull off?”
“I have no idea . Let’s just listen carefully . ”
Tang Siyu held her breath and forced herself to calmly pay attention to her son .
Once Xiaoxi was satisfied with the focus on him, he put his plan into motion .
“H-h.e.l.lo! My name is Tang Xiaoxi . My mother’s name is Tang Siyu! She is very pretty . Today, I am four years, three months and seven days old! I entered this show to find my Papa . If there are any men who look like me, you might be my Papa! Please contact me? I know you will definitely be able to recognize me . ”
The little boy’s pleading voice echoed inside the huge hall . People all over the country now knew about his situation .
However, he still had something to say . He pointed at the camera and blinked his pitiful eyes and said, “Papa, I’ll be waiting for you, okay?”
Behind the stage, Tang Siyu was enraged . She almost stormed over to pull Little Xi off the stage but Su Xi pulled her back and warned, “Siyu! Don’t be so rash . Why are you so mad? He’s really interesting . ”
“What do you mean by interesting? He’s looking for the vile man who stole my virginity, you know? I must pull him down!”
Tang Siyu was furious . She suddenly understood his unusual interest in the compet.i.tion . He wanted to use this show to search for that b.a.s.t.a.r.d all along!
