However, what he just said was brutal as if he cared nothing about human life.

And his smile was evil, nothing like a kind man who had a big loving heart.

Any other man but Xia Liang would be shocked by his words and his smile. They might think it was either he was mad or they were mad.

Xia Liang, however, believed what he said right away and nodded to agree. But she frowned because she was thinking.

Jun Wuqing thought she felt offended by his words or disappointed by how indifferent he was.

Xia Liang didn't see it because her head was hung down. Even if she did, she wouldn't tell the change on his face.
