The heirs held their breath didn't relax until the guarding beast G.o.d had disappeared.

"What's the meaning of this?" someone spoke up. "Throughout the history of the Ancestral G.o.d School, there have been killings between heirs, but the Ancestral G.o.d School never hunted them down! Why should Mud Swallowing Knight be hunted even after he's brought back? This is—"

"How silly are you that you can't even understand this?" someone else cut in. "Apparently, the Ancestral G.o.d School gives Blade River Emperor special treatment. Didn't you see how the Ancestral G.o.d School favored Zhu Chong Emperor? Now, they're favoring Blade River Emperor, too!"

"You mean Blade River Emperor is another Zhu Chong Emperor?"

Luo Feng stood in front of his palace and watched the countless heirs leave. Thoughts flooded his mind. The guarding beast G.o.d had said publicly before that Mud Swallowing Knight would be hunted down by the Ancestral G.o.d School

even after he was brought back. Although Luo Feng's earthling body had still been in the World Ring at the time, his Mosha body had heard every word of it.

"Master, I'll go out with you," said Cloud Contact, vines swinging.

"Yes," Cloud Contact answered, and the vines drooped.

Luo Feng, of course, caught countless powerful ones' attention by walking in the open for so long, including two of the universe knights who had been ordered to kill him. However, they could do nothing about it.

Killing him wasn't the problem; if they managed to kill him, he would be resurrected again, and their deaths would be in vain. The two universe knights were smart enough not to do that.

The demon race was the most enraged out of all the human race's enemies. The death of a universe knight had only consumed a fraction of Blade River Emperor's energy. And perhaps the strength of a world used to recover his body was worth less than a mixed element.

"Mud Swallowing Knight is in a pitiable state," said his shadowy, snake-like acolyte. "It's natural that his clan demands more. Master of Sky Wolf, if we refuse to do this, the other races in the alliance will be disappointed."

"d.a.m.n it!" Master of Sky Wolf shouted, furious. He was angry with the humans, particularly Primal Chaos City Leader and Blade River Emperor. He stood in front of the Sky Wolf Palace and stared down at the snake-like acolyte. "You'll be in charge of the compensation. But now, let me ask you first. Do you have any idea how to kill Blade River Emperor?"

The snake-like acolyte groveled as it said, "The only way is to control his soul."

"And how can we do that?" Master of Sky Wolf said.

"Congratulations, Blade River Emperor," he said. "Your name has already disappeared from the third-level heir ranking and has entered into that of a fourth-level heir. You've completed the third-level inheritance."

"Yes." Luo Feng nodded.

The 620,000 battles with all the talents from other races had helped him a lot, and together with the 900 years of comprehension and training, he had completed the third-level inheritance at one time. However, Luo Feng had barely gained anything.
