Zhang Jiasen was very happy after obtaining Ning Shu’s guarantee, so he became even more eagerly attentive towards her. He’d walk her to and fro from work, and after hearing her say that she liked tulips, he’d give her one every morning.

If Ning Shu liked staying with her parents, then she could stay with her parents. Zhang Jiasen never brought up having Ning Shu go home again and Zhang Jiasen’s mother never appeared in front of Ning Shu again either.
