Chapter 6- Focus on Protecting the Target

Gu Family's Butler Li looked like the leader of the underworld. His entire body was covered in a pure black suit and sporting black sungla.s.ses. But with this 40+ year old appearance, he was extremely big, tall, and powerful.

Butler Li took off his sungla.s.ses and walked to the front of Gu Bokai. "Young Master Gu, it was the Madame who sent me. She said we must carefully protect the new young mistress."

Cheng Jinyu really had his entire face full of black lines. Just from this meeting, he had been promoted to the Gu family's young mistress?

Just merely looking all the bodyguards surrounding him, Cheng Jinyu could not bear it and responded. "This is to protect me? Or is it to prevent me from escaping?"

Xiao Mo quietly moved close to Cheng Jinyu and whispered, "Young master's first wife, just got the certificate, left the Civil Affairs Bureau and got hit by a car."

Cheng Jinyu now understood, as it turns out starting from now, he himself is a dangerous public figure.

Gu Bokai responded with a black face, "His life is tough, if I die he still wouldn't die." Having said it in this way said that, he took long strides to walk to the front.

Butler Li put his sungla.s.ses back on, "Young Mistress, this way please!"

"What are you still doing inside? You are disrupting the order of the Civil Affairs Bureau don't you know? Didn't see that everyone around is watching you?" Gu Bokai yelled from the entrance of the building, the crowd of people had increased.

Cheng Jinyu had enough. He had been very low-key for the past ten years, wherever the place, whatever the time, he was completely overlooked by people. Today, he completely became a monkey performing tricks for the crowd to watch.

Cheng Jinyu directly walked over to the entrance. The black clothed men followed in all directions, firmly keeping Cheng Jinyu in the middle of their circle, they formed a very thick human barricade.

Cheng Jinyu grabbed his new hair and cried. "I'm called Cheng Jinyu! I have a name, Im not called Biao Ge!"

Butler Li turned his head around and gave him a glance, then lowered his head to speak into the microphone. "The new mistress is not called Biao Ge, called….. Can you say it again?"

Crazy! Everyone in the Gu Family was crazy! Cheng Jinyu's name was given to him by his father, name meaning was to hold and cherish a beautiful jade, in hopes that he would possess a good moral character. However this name was a bit of a tongue twister. At the least it couldn't compare to "Biao Ge", these two words came out smooth and easy.

Since the first day Chen Yuze recognized him, he started calling him Biao Ge. Slowly those two words became his name, so much that at his older age he still addressed him as Biao Ge.

Thinking of this in the moment, Cheng Jinyu couldn't help but feel that it was slightly sorrowful. He'd been at the Chen Family for ten years, in the end even his name didn't stay behind.

Gu Bokai had already sat inside the car. He opened the rear seat door, and he was already in the rear seat.

Cheng Jinyu was a bit hesitant, the Gu family could employ these kinds of bodyguards, must have taken many cars to get here! They were two people in a fake marriage, then there was no need to sit together!

Butler Li noticed that Cheng Jinyu did not immediately enter the car, with a bit of urgency he spoke. "You, you who, hurry up and get in!"

"What? You want to sit in here?" It was obvious that in the back area, two people could not sit properly. Although you could sit in the middle, although it was s.p.a.cious, but this kind of luxury car should not be this packed!

Gu Bokai was so bored, flirted with a very disgusted voice. "Where are you touching me? Why are you so close? Youre trying to take advantage of me aren't you?"

Cheng Jinyu felt that he was going to go insane.

The black wearing bodyguard seemed as if he was a bit embarra.s.sed. He foolishly smiled and replied, "Sorry young master, there is still this person. How should you call this person?"

"Biao Ge." Gu Bokai immediately came up with that one phrase.

Cheng Jinyu's flames of fury all at once were ignited. He twisted his body to firmly grasp Gu Bokai's collar and ruthlessly yanked to the front of his own face. "Biao your head! I'm not called Biao Ge, I have a name, I'm called Cheng Jinyu! Cheng Jinyu ah!"

Cheng Jinyu ferociously shook Gu Bokai's clothes, gnashed his teeth, dying to bite Gu Bokai to death.

Gu Bokai was entirely frightened by Cheng Jinyu's violent rage, could only subconsciouly respond, "O…. O…"

"And you?" Cheng Jinyu pointed at the black wearing bodyguard on the side and roared, "Do you have eyes? Do you? Can't see that you wont fit here? Gu Bokai's gloomy gaze unwaveringly stared at Cheng Jinyu's face, Cheng Jinyu even saw a trace of hurt in his eyes.

Cheng Jinyu could not help but feel a little bit of regret, his own brain was really rusted, how could he just directly become angry. He already hadn't been angry for a couple years. His good temperament was created in the Chen Family early on. How come today he couldn't endure anymore?

Xiao Ma immediately stopped the car. "Young Master, what did you want to do?"

Gu Bokai opened the car door, "I will not stay in the company of trash." Gu Bokai finished talking and immediately got off.

In an instant the inside of the car became more s.p.a.cious. Cheng Jinyu could not help but want to steal the pleasure. If he had known earlier that this would give him a seat, then he would have chased him from the car earlier.

Cheng Jinyu's smiling expression had still not been taken back when the car door opened again and an even bigger and muscular bodyguard walked over. "My apologies, can you please s.h.i.+ft over a bit?"

"For what?"

"Young master said, must definitely secure your safety."

A row of black cars stopped at the Gu Family villa. In the middle of all the cars was the car Cheng Jinyu was sitting in.

Cheng Jinyu was practically crawling out from the car. Two mammoth fellows, the muscles on their body were like stone, almost squashed Cheng Jinyu's body flat.

Thankfully the Gu House was not too far, otherwise Cheng Jinyu would be like the the first bride and died from hitting a car, or rather died from being squashed to death.

Cheng Jinyu immediately sat on the ground, stretched out his two legs and two arms. Narrow s.p.a.ce, Cheng Jinyu's four limbs was already numb and had no instinct whatsoever.

Gu Bokai was wearing a bit of a smiling expression, "What's wrong? Isn't it very comfortable?"

Revenge! He was definitely deliberately retaliating against him.

"Just to let you know, this is the punishment for not being obedient."

Cheng Jinyu did not respond to him, in reality he didn't even have the energy to talk. This day, had really made him tired to death. Properly got the certificate, why did it feel more tiring than going to h.e.l.l.

Cheng Jinyu was gulping down air. Inside the Gu Family's courtyard, those black clothes black trouser wearing bodyguards all retreated.

Cheng Jinyu noticed a dozen of people wearing white doctor coats walking over, in the back were a few women wearing nurse outfits.

"What is this for?" Cheng Jinyu's instinct let him know, it must definitely not be a good thing.

Gu Bokai squatted down and replied, "Do you know how my second wife died?"

Cheng Jinyu shook his head. Where would he have known.

"Finished getting the certificate, came back home to eat dinner, suddenly died of illness."

"This, what does this have to do with me?" Cheng Jinyu was slightly nervous as he responded.

Gu Bokai stood up, the smiling expression on his face deepened. "Of course it's to give you a physical checkup. Up down, inside outside, back front, must examine clearly and cleanly."

"Can't do this tomorrow? The sky is already dark, I'm tired to death!"

Gu Bokai shook his hand in disapproval, "That won't do, What if you fall ill tonight, what will I do?"

The doctor wasn't planning on letting Cheng Jinyu get a chance for defend himself, just directly dragged said person over towards the Gu Family villa.

Gu Bokai's smile was the same as a big fox. He waved his hand in slow motion, at the same time with sincere words and earnest wishes spoke, "Lets go, lets go!"

Cheng Jinyu was entirely dragged around by people. The first checkup was on the five facial features: eyes, nose, ears, mouth, brows. Following after was the respiratory tract, heart, liver, spleen, lungs, kidney, etc… a series of checkups.

When Cheng Jinyu reached the last one, his entire body was in a condition ready to faint.

Gu Bokai had a phrase that he said correctly, Cheng Jinyu did not sleep well the night before. As a matter of fact, he also did not sleep the night before that.

Wei Hua's sudden break up, mother's relapse, his own unexpected marriage; all of these things happened in such a short amount of days. Cheng Jinyu simply did not have time to digest everything.

Breaking up with Wei Hua could have been seen coming, mother's serious illness was as well. The sole worry of Cheng Jinyu was marrying Gu Bokai.  

If he really could immediately die, Cheng Jinyu at the time would feel free. If he did not die, Cheng Jinyu absolutely did not know how to get along with this sworn enemy that thought him not pleasing to the eye.

But today for a brief period of time they got along, made Cheng Jinyu have a new look several times. The rest don't talk about, Cheng Jinyu simply struck him with a couple phrases inside the car.

According to what Cheng Jinyu heard about Gu Bokai from other people, he would most likely beat him to death, then afterwards would whip his corpse in public.

But Gu Bokai only angrily left the car, then switched with a fatty to cram him. It was a very childish move.

Cheng Jinyu let go of his nervousness and untranquility. The last few days of being overworked and sleepiness all began to catch up with him.  Standing Cheng Jinyu fell asleep.

Cheng Jinyu nearly kept sleeping. Only when a the medical instrument felt particularly uncomfortable, when a doctor patted him to get up, did he manage to open his eyes.

Cheng Jinyu slept in a daze. In his bewildered state he heard an aged voice, "This child's entire body is very poor. What exactly has he been doing for these past few years? Strenuous work,completely surpa.s.sed his body's limit, resulting in his body functions to be a mess, immunity declined. If things continue like this it will initiate a series of illnesses, finally it will cause an abnormally young death."

"Can still be saved?" unexpectedly came from Gu Bokai's voice.

Cheng Jinyu smiled bitterly to himself. Didn't expect, your 4th wife would die from fatigue.

Hitting chicken blood: This actually means to be drugged. So GBK is saying hes so happy he looks like he's drugged. I just left it as "hitting chicken blood" cause it sounds more entertaining than writing "being drugged". Meat pie: a good fortune/wonderful gift
