“Say, is she a bride or a slave?”
What are you saying, G.o.ddess?
“Calling her a bride or a slave does not matter. Hahahahahaha.” said Weig.
No, it is entirely different? Hahaha, well, then. You and this girl can talk. Or rather the domineering husband line of thought.
Well, after asking politely, Weig left the room. He left the behemoth parts and appraisal certificate were needed to verify my subjugation of the behemoth with me. I threw the behemoth parts and appraisal into the item box.
“Umm, Quina-san?”
“Jinta-sama. I am your bride. ‘san’ is unnecessary.”
“Who’s a wife? Someone pushed their daughter without permission….”
“Jinta-sama, who is this?” However softly you may have asked, your tone is a little too hard, Quina.
“Wh-what….” Rifua gave me a troubled look. If I’m not mistaken, Rifua has been, what’s the expression? She has been of some help to me.
“His l-lover……”
““Eh?”” Quina and my eyes were like this ・・ ←. Lover, is she really my lover?
“Is that so?”
“No, it’s different.”
“Muuu……!”
“Even if you do have a plank for a lover, it is fine to choose me last. It doesn’t matter to me. In any case to be defeated.”
“Fun. You don’t have much chance when competing with a G.o.ddess.”
“What sort of self-styled G.o.ddess are you? From Thailand?”
At that moment I could see sparks fly between the two.
Afterwards I asked Quina if there was to be a behemoth subjugation celebratory party. Despite it being a big deal, all there was to do was reporting to Weig about it. The relatives of the great family did not hold celebrations as way of thanks. As for the finalisation of Quina’s engagement party, I asked Weig to have it as soon as possible.
Hii-chan was waiting to leave the forest.
“Hii-chan, can you carry three people?”
“Rar rar……”
Our next destination is the nearest town. Because an adventurer’s guild is there, I’m going to take on a new quest.
“It’s not so far, would Quina like to walk?”
“If that’s the case, for the benevolent G.o.ddess-sama to think of me, should I not walk?”
I-it’s started again! As soon as someone opened their mouth!
“So is there no need to rush….. hence walking?”
**
It was evening that we got through to the eastern highway, and arrived at out destination. The town of Roguro is quite big, and there is a proper castle gate as well. The castle wall is high. The guards appear to be strong too.
I decided to have Hii-chan wait outside of town, as it wasn’t any good for her to cause an uproar. I showed the guard my guild card, and Rifua and Quina were able to enter as my companions. If one didn’t have any identification, it would be difficult to get into a town. The guard gave Rifua and Quina a glancing look, and put it plainly. I think I might have underestimated the beautiful girl privelege.
Street stalls and stores were lined up in a row, with rare food and accessories being sold there.
“Jinta, I’m hungry.”
“Well….. I haven’t eaten either.”
“I recommend the fish restaurant over here.”
When Quina points to the left, Rifua points to the right.
“Jinta, a tasty meat restaurant is over there. That place should be better.”
“Rifua should go alone, then?”
“You should go alone that way!”
They’re going to compete no matter what I do.
“Stop fighting you two. I’m in the mood for meat, so would you guide us Rifua?”
“Sure. Leave it to me.”
Rifua laughed with a smile. She reached out hesitantly, and took my left hand. As the town folk pa.s.sing by were watching us, I felt a little embarra.s.sed.
“Jinta’s face is turning red…..”
“Y-you….”
“Come on, shall we go, Jinta?”
Quina has begun to walk along holding on to my right arm at this time. …..her b.r.e.a.s.t.s continue to mold around my arm. Is this the state of things that one would want to stop…? …No, I think I like it as it is.
It goes without saying that the degrees of attention increased. I had a flower in each hand. Rather than just flowers, each flower was also a beautiful girl.
I found the restaurant that Rifua had mentioned, and we entered. It was quite busy, and we had to wait a few minutes for a seat.
What I ordered was three meals of steak, bread, and refonboa soup. The waiter arranged them on the table. The soup was amazing, and the smell of oil is good again. I really want some rice right now.
As I started to take a bite…
“Jinta-sama. Here, ah~n.”
Ah~n!? Is that the urban legend that is called ‘ah~n’?
Without any regard to me, who has blown his top, Quina brings a bite size piece of meat to my lips.
It’s a thing with much effort, and let’s have it. All right…. I am ashamed, and can not taste it.
“Is it delicious?”
I am asked like that, and cannot move my head.
“Y-yes.”
“Then, here’s the next….”
“W-Wait Wait! Eat you own food!”
At this point, I seem to melt from the rising temperature.
GON!
“Someone hit my s.h.i.+n!?”
“What’s with that cool little wording……?”
“What, I’m a little lovestruck….”
Rifua muttered in a matter that she was displeased, and carried her food to the entrance. I asked Quina on the sly.
“Do you know why Rifua is in a bad mood?”
“When you think that your own loved ones may be taken from you, you’d be troubled, wouldn’t you think?”
That is……what then? Et cetera et cetera? I don’t understand this at all.
My confused face must look strange. Quina lets out a small chuckle.
“I don’t get it, is that good?”
“To get to the point and not leave you hanging……, How can one change Rifua’s mood for the better? It seems to be bad right now.”
“That’s—–”
Unintelligibly, she whispered into my ear. ……That’s it? Courage is needed on my part, but……
That’s good. I stab the meat with the fork—-
“Ri-Rifua, That’s… A-ahn.”
“!!?!? Nanananananananana…..”
I heard a pop and Rifua’s face was dyed red hot.
“Even I’m shy. Eat it quickly.”
She closed her eyes tightly, and ate it with a single gulp.
“W-well?”
“I didn’t know how s-smart you are.”
As expected, It isn’t a thing to do, and it isn’t a thing letting you do it.
“A-all of a sudden… Jinta’s habits…..”
“Ufufufu, That’s good, Rifua-san. Jinta-sama is quite good at performing ah~n.”
“S-sh-sh-sh-sh-sh-shut up! It’ll taste better if I eat it myself!”
“How could you say something like that, Quina.”
“That sort of thing doesn’t matter, Jinta-sama. Rifua-san is embarra.s.sed. The proof is that her face is a bright shade of red.”
Quina is, how you say, mentally on the top shelf. She has more of an adult feel while Rifua is more childish. But Quina is an Elf. When I think that Elly-chan is the same age as me, then Quina….
“How old are you……?”
“What did you say just now?
H-her eyes aren’t laughing!! Asking her age must be a taboo then….. I suitably glossed over the situation, and finished my meal.
Then I decided to look for a handy inn, and stay overnight. Leaving the restaurant, Rifua’s mood has improved, and she seems to be getting along with Quina a little more.
