[Saint Doll] Arc 2 Chapter 22 – Departure

What comes next is the cheers of victory.

The Seikis.h.i.+n is returning, perhaps to the place it originally belong to. s.h.i.+n waited for Yuri who had come out from the Seikis.h.i.+n all wobbly, after that he carried her in princess carry that she requested him for. Both of them then exchanged nonstop deep kiss.
Fea and Gain complained after looking the two keep going at it in their current state, and then there’s also one demon waiting for them in front of the city gate looking very angry.

“You should’ve told me if you’re going to teleport yourself !! I was looking for you between the remaining villagers !!!!”

In front of Shana whose anger had reached its peak, Yuri received her sermon while sitting in seiza position. The other three evacuated the battlefield and act like they’re not involved with it, and then they announced that the disaster cla.s.s had been defeated.

There are some who kneeled on the spot.
There are some who shed tears and offered their grat.i.tude to Gain and the others.
Then there are some young ones who runs out while pulling a horse to chase the evacuating people.

Everyone was happy, they were thankful from the bottom of their heart that Yutarika village was saved from destruction.

And thus s.h.i.+n and Yuri enjoyed some lazy days where they waited for all people to return.

“Yeah”

The time is going to change into afternoon soon, but these two people are still lazing in their bed.
Every night, the villagers would held a banquet and invited Gain and s.h.i.+n as guests. These two cannot refuse the favor from the villagers who are truly grateful to their savior, but they also made sure to jump into their bed together from late night until the morning every day.

Shana’s job of “sleeping” inside her room inside the Divine Pillar had also changed, Gain had been sleeping there every night continuously for these past few days now. So Shana’s house had become the love nest of s.h.i.+n and Yuri, and also one other bonus member.

Last night too, these two people didn’t immediately go to sleep after they returned.
They made love to each other until Yuri is fully satisfied. They would also practice new position and keep going at it until the sun rose before they finally went to sleep.

“Is it really fine to keep the Miko matter a secret ?”
“The villagers didn’t find out that you controlled the Seikis.h.i.+n. It’s fine if they learn about it when we’re not here anymore”

They managed to keep it a secret from the people that Yuri is a Miko.
Even thought the villagers had received s.h.i.+n and Yuri with friendly reception now, it would be impossible to imagine the kind of confusion that will ensue if they found out that Yuri is a Miko.

However as they enjoyed their repeating idle and happy days. a contact was made from another place.

*Knock* *Knock*
“It’s me, is now a good time ?”

“What is it Gain-san ?”

That’s right, their idle days ended on this moment.

“A messenger from the [Academy] has came to the village. They said they want to see the Miko”

The designated meeting place is located at a gra.s.sland a little away from the village.
There are unfamiliar vehicle which s.h.i.+n would describe as ‘an aircraft or something’ standing unmoving, and before that, two women is kneeling as they waited for them to arrive.

“We were waiting for you, Miko-sama of this generation”
“We’re honored to meet you, Miko-sama”

One of them is an adult woman who is dressed in a suit similar with the other world’s one.
Her bulging breast looks as if it was being stuffed inside the tight suit and ready to burst out anytime,  Yuri’s mood is worsening as she noticed s.h.i.+n’s gaze is being sucked toward the two big mountain.

The other one is a girl that looks to be the same age as s.h.i.+n and Yuri. She had a black hair and dressed in red and white Miko attire. This time, the really humble breast that won’t boost one’s self confidence is drawing out Yuri’s sympathy instead.
“I’m the one who is blessed with the blessing of Miko, we’re Fallen people from different world. ……Could you raise your face first ?”

Yuri returned their greetings, the two people raised their face and looked toward Yuri’s face straight while still kneeling. They’re the owner of a beauty comparable to Yuri and Shana, then while s.h.i.+n is pondering in his mind whether all Blessed people are beauties or something, they turned their gaze at him.

“Is that man over there a Fallen too ? He had a fairy with him, that means…”
“Ah, I’m-……”
“This s.h.i.+n over here is a Hero contracted to me !! Wors.h.i.+p me as much as you want !!”
“I’m his girlfriend, and I also have a contract with him as the owner”
Fea had interrupted s.h.i.+n’s introduction, meanwhile, Yuri is dropping a bomb into the middle of their introduction. She didn’t like how they had prioritized her over s.h.i.+n, but the power of the bomb that she dropped is too strong to make her talking partner care about any other matter.

“By owner, do you mean the contract preside over your life ?”

When Fea presented her facts while acting all smug, the expression on the older woman face had turned darker. s.h.i.+n realized that these facts are an inconvenience to them, but the whole situation is something that isn’t clear yet. So then Shana stepped forward and gave her explanation.

“A Miko……, Ah I’m referring to one who controlled an Artificial G.o.d. They would usually end up in one of the four countries. Those Miko possessed an useful Blessing and is someone who is sought as a marriage partner by the royal family of all countries. They would even kneel to obtain their acceptance. I’m sure you can imagine how big of a deal a True Miko is from that. As for a Hero from another world, they’re also precious considering how few of them exist. A Man would even be accepted into the royal family. The level of power and knowledge they could offer is something valuable enough to line up some princess for them”

“Since both of you are already contracted to each other, Jo-chan would die if they killed s.h.i.+n. Even if they try to forcibly abduct Jo-chan, there’s also the power of fairy contract to worry about. However if they managed to persuade s.h.i.+n and Jo-chan, a country would be able to obtain a set of the strongest power. All countries will stop at nothing for a chance to obtain that”

“On the other hand, She would create a fuss if she ended up in the Academy, but they won’t abandon the legendary True Miko”

s.h.i.+n was amazed at Shana and Gain’s smooth explanation that sounds like they have antic.i.p.ated this development.

“Yutarika Village is an exception. Even if Jo-chan is just a normal Fallen, the country will try to separate you if they know both of your existence. It’s really a stroke of good luck that you managed to meet with Fea. Normally speaking, it’s nearly impossible for someone to encounter a wandering high ranked fairy, let alone making a contract, normally that is”
“……? I feel like I was just made fun off in a round-about way”
“In addition, the contract will not disappear too even if Fea-chan is killed”
s.h.i.+n was glad that Fea didn’t seem to follow the conversation, she was just sitting while tilting her head confusedly. But in his mind, s.h.i.+n is deeply grateful for everything that she has done for them.

“Miko-sama, Hero-sama, will you come to the [Academy] ?”
Then while leaving the woman who has turned silent as it is, the girl beside her come forward with a question.

“I heard from Shana-san that the one who manages the Seikis.h.i.+n is the Academy. If that’s truly the case, then we don’t have any other choice do we ?”
“I’m interested in the place that raised Miko and Adventurers. I was thinking of consulting s.h.i.+n-chan to visit there someday”
s.h.i.+n and Yuri nodded to each other with a happy yet complicated face, then both of them moved their line of sight to the back.

“Thank you Shana-san. You have protected us from danger and also provided place for us in the village. Thank you very much”
“Me too. Thank you for teaching me all kind of common sense and also stopped the people who have their own plan in the village back then Shana-san”
“It’s fine, it’s fine. The relations.h.i.+p between the two of you reminds me about stuff from the past”
s.h.i.+n and Yuri lowered their heads. Shana is acting all embarra.s.sed and shakes their hands in returns.

“Thank you Gain-san. I’m grateful the first wall that I encountered is you Gain-san. If you didn’t teach me how to fight, I’m sure we would’ve died by now”
“Thank you for protecting s.h.i.+n-chan. However if you keep judging women by the size of their b.r.e.a.s.t.s you’re going to make more enemies you know”
“Don’t mention it. I just trained you because I thought I had found an interesting brat”
Subsequently, Gain is also acting all embarra.s.sed and shake their hands too.

“Fea……? Why are you doing there ? You’re going to come with us right ?”
“Let’s go, Fea-chan”
“Ermm, I just don’t know what to do in this atmosphere……”
Fea was speaking while floating next to Gain, but in the end, she lowered her head toward Shana and Gain.

“I’ll make sure to come back. Until then”
“I’ll return as a great Miko. Please wait for us”
And lastly, the two lowered their head to the two messengers.

Yutarika Village, the first village they encountered in this different world.
It  has taught them how to live in this world that is tender yet harsh.
They had spent a short time in there, and managed to build a small relations.h.i.+p with the villagers.
Yet before they will come back from their evacuation, both of them will be gone already for their journey.

However they have hope in their heart.
When they returned a few years later, this village will still stay as the vibrant village it was just like before.
That’s why the two of them will leave this place without saying words of goodbye

” ” Please treat us well from now on too !! ” ”

Thus the two of them embarked on a journey to travel the world, this time as a real Adventurer

“It” laughs.
For what it did, what it will do, and toward the powerful existence that had stopped it.
But most importantly, because it was convinced that its objective is advancing greatly.

“Wonderful ! I was surprised it had turned into a Disaster Cla.s.s, but what’s even more surprising is the existence of the Miko and the Seikis.h.i.+n !! The King is going to be pleased !!!!”
