Chapter 26

Suddenly, a wave of gunshots rang out, causing Old Lei and Guo Lei to be unable to raise their heads.

Mike shouted, “They have a sniper, everybody spread out!”

As soon as he said that, the head of the soldier beside him exploded in a splatter of blood, chunks of brains flowed out along with the blood. As Mike watched, the brothers at his side fell one by one, causing him to furiously walked out of the cover with his gun and fired wildly.

He shouted to the soldier carrying a high-powered communications device behind him, “Tell our sniper to find the enemy’s sniper and get rid of him.”

Ye Tianming silently arrived beside Old w.a.n.g and said to him, “It’s our best chance to get rid of their sniper now, their sniper must be searching for your position.”

“How do we determine his position?”

“We bait him out to expose himself.”

With that, Ye Tianming took off his military cap, placed it on a branch, then poked it out of the cover, at the moment he did this, the military cap flew up with a “pa!” sound, while a bullet embedded itself into a tree trunk behind them.

“This son of a b.i.t.c.h, we got tricked.”

The spotter on the side chuckled, “Say, buddy, so what if they know our position, can their sniper rifle hit us?”

“I just feel a bit uncomfortable, it’s my first time making a mistake and falling for it, if I wasn’t holding the most advanced sniper rifle, I think we are meeting G.o.d right now.”

Ye Tianming carefully turned around and approached the tree behind him. This was in order to find out the trajectory of the bullet as well as the depth in which it is embedded into the tree so he could determine the enemy’s approximate position and distance.

After that, he said to Old w.a.n.g, “No wonder they are so c.o.c.ky, they are two thousand eight hundred something meters away from us, our sniper rifles cannot reach them at all.”

Old w.a.n.g frowned after hearing Ye Tianming’s words, “Then what do we do? Stay here without moving and wait for our deaths?”

“Hehe…” Ye Tianming laughed evilly. “Old w.a.n.g, what does a top cla.s.s sniper use when he aims at his enemies?”

Old w.a.n.g replied without any hesitation, “Of course, it’s their eyes.”

Ye Tianming shook his head, “No, it’s the heart. You have to aim at your enemies with your heart.”
With that, Ye Tianming took out four cartridges[1] from the magazine of the sniper rifle, and used his military knife to shave the bullet. He shaved at it for a while, then checked it out with his eyes before using his hand to weigh if the weights were equal.

Old w.a.n.g asked in confusion, “Captain, what are you doing?”

After doing all this, Ye Tianming placed the each of the two cartridges underneath a cartridges that haven’t been shaved. When he heard Old w.a.n.g’s question, he didn’t reply, and just smiled creepily, “You will know later. I’ll let them know what a real sniper is.”

With that, Ye Tianming stood up with the sniper rifle raised. The moment he stood up, Ye Tianming’s feeling appeared once again, his body quickly dodged to the left, just as a bullet punctured his shoulder.

Although he had been sniped, Ye Tianming’s body did not move a single bit from the force of the bullet. He continued to stand there without moving. By using his body to feel the direction of the bullet and distance that it had traveled, he shot twice without hesitation just as he was shot. Immediately afterwards, he moved the barrel ten centimeters towards the right, five centimeters downwards and shot twice again.

If you could see the track of the bullets with your eyes, you would see an unbelievable image in front of you.
