His gaze zeroed in on her mouth, his voice soft. “I stared at the ceiling half the night wondering if I could honestly go the rest of my life without kissing these lips ever again.” Gavin grazed the pad of his thumb against Emily’s mouth. Letting it linger, he traced the top and bottom. She parted her lips, her mind desperately trying to remind her how to breathe as she stared into his eyes. Gavin stepped closer. “I paced the house when I couldn’t sleep, imagining another day of not feeling this body against mine. This body was made to fit me in every possible way.” Gavin’s fingertips ghosted across her cheek, along the curve of her neck. Coiled heat simmered through Emily’s stomach as his hand drifted down her shoulder, brushed the side of her torso, and finally settled on her waist. He squeezed, and desire jolted up her spine.

Trembling, Emily dropped her head to the side, but Gavin found her chin and gently lifted her face. She swallowed back tears and turned her green eyes to him.

He rolled his tongue over his lips and took a breath. “The thought of not seeing your eyes when I wake up, or not hearing your heart next to me when you’re asleep made me sick. With all of that, I decided no, I can’t go another day without you. I don’t want to go another day without you.” Gavin stepped closer, and suddenly, Emily’s back was against the suite door. “You’re mine,” he added. “The second you showed up at my place that night, you sealed your fate.” Emily’s heart pounded. He placed his hands on the sides of her head. “Do you love me, Emily?”

Her belly knotted, and her breathing became shallow. “Yes, I love you,” she whispered, staring into his blue eyes.

He licked his lips, dropped a hand to the door, and leaned into her ear. “Do you know you’re mine?”

She heard the door unlock. “Yes,” she breathed.

“Say it,” he growled, his lips hovering above hers.

Her nipples beaded. “I’m yours.”

“Say it again, Emily.” He curled his arm around her waist, yanked the bag from her hand, and jacked her tight against his chest.

The blistering heat of his body sent Emily’s emotions cras.h.i.+ng over a cliff. “G.o.d, Gavin, I’m yours. Forever. No one else.”

Before Emily could blink, Gavin’s lips seized hers, the kiss instantly desperate and hungry. Breathing heavily, they plunged their tongues inside each other’s mouths as if dying to taste one another completely. Gavin flung open the door, dropped her bag, and backed her into the suite. Gasping, Emily twisted her arms around his neck, her hands gripping his hair as he started unb.u.t.toning her shorts. He roughed them and her panties down her thighs. Wiggling out of them, Emily tore her mouth from his and whipped her T-s.h.i.+rt over her head. With no hesitation, Emily worked the b.u.t.ton on his pants. Hands knotted in her hair, Gavin yanked her head back and trailed open-mouthed kisses down her neck. Somewhere between Emily’s bra slithering to the floor, along with Gavin’s s.h.i.+rt and pants, Emily wound up on her back on a crushed velvet chaise lounge in the middle of the living room.

Standing above her, Gavin’s stared at the woman he loved, his heart swelling as he watched her waiting for him. His gaze crawled over her body, taking in her succulent pink nipples drawn up tight in her arousal. So. d.a.m.n. Lush. She ran her tongue across that pretty bow of a mouth, swollen from his kisses. Just looking at her could be his undoing, and he knew it. He knew it the first time he saw her. He was desperate to be inside her and feel her sweet little p.u.s.s.y wrapped around him. Running her hands down her legs, opened wide for him, Emily let out a dejected sigh and it was then a deep, raw, primal urge to reclaim every inch of her body forged through Gavin’s thoughts. A sickening need to wipe Dillon clear from her mind forever hit, kicking him in the gut. Tonight, he knew he was going to remove every speck of Dillon from her.

Blue eyes hot with possessiveness and breathing heavily, Gavin dropped to his knees, easing Emily’s leg over his shoulder. Staring at her, needing to catalogue her reaction, Gavin tripped two fingers across Emily’s c.l.i.t. Her moisture seeped, coating his fingers. Before she could release the gasp perched on the tip of her tongue, Gavin settled his mouth over her smooth p.u.s.s.y.

Arching her back, her body jerked and bucked, her nipples budding hard as he speared his tongue in and out of her. Dear G.o.d, she couldn’t breathe and she didn’t want to.
