The red glow's effects reached a wide range. Every time, a few thousands would be affected. Their energy was being sucked away at a fast pace. In the time for a few breaths, the thousands would be weakened until they could not stand anymore.

Lu Li had thought that the Feather Race's Originator Artifact was a strong s.h.i.+eld. He did not know that the s.h.i.+eld could be used in a demonic way such as this.

Those warriors might not be particularly strong and not all their energy was taken. The energy that was taken away from the warriors could not be absorbed in its entirety. Dragon Demon bellowed and spread its wings. The Dragon Demon hurried onward and then leaped up.

"Get down here!"

The Feather Race patriarch who was still taking his warriors' energies took out a saber and made a slas.h.i.+ng motion towards Lu Li. A ray of silver light came out from the saber and spread to Lu Li at once. Everywhere the ray of silver light was at, s.p.a.ce was ripped open. A sense of fatal danger emerged from the depth of Lu Li's soul.

"Hmm!"

Lu Li grinned and did not worry. The Wicked Bead gave out a glaring light. Lu Li vanished on the spot and the ray of silver light landed on the Wicked Bead.

The Feather Race patriarch tried to activate the Feather Race's Originator Artifact again, but the Wicked Bead was too fast to allow him to do that. The Wicked Bead smashed into him, knocking him onto the ground. He was not seriously wounded but he did feel dizzy.

He had just understood what had happened when he felt the sky darkened. A loud noise made his ears ring. He saw a huge claw whoos.h.i.+ng at him.

At the final moment, the Feather Race Earth Immortal Realm patriarch poured Xuan Energy with utmost effort into the Originator Artifact, trying to activate it to stop the Dragon Demon.

However, the Originator Artifact only gave out a feeble glow when the Feather Race patriarch was surrounded by the red air current from the Dragon Demon's horn. He was immobilized.
