Chapter 20.2

Many people said that there must be a powerful backer behind Tang Xiao, and although Mo Zhen himself had also heard many rumours about Tang Xiao, but he was not interested in exploring the right or wrongs of the entertainment world’s ‘today I sleep with you, tomorrow you sleep with me idea.

“Sorry, I have already finished.” Mo Zhen pushed his chair back and stood up from his seat.

Although the entertainment industry would never suffer from a lack of gossip, however Mo Zhen still did not want to contribute more things for them to talk about.

Tang Xiao who was just about to sit down was suddenly frozen in place, she had not expected that even Mo Zhen would refuse her.

Although Mo Zhen had debuted for so many years, he really did not have any scandals, the only one time was due to the company putting out rumours about him and Song Ni as advertis.e.m.e.nt. However, the one thing Tang Xiao knew very well was that Mo Zhen did not lack a woman.

Mo Zhen’s appearance and status in the entertainment industry were truly second to none, it was only a matter of time that she herself too would be hooked. Having said that, there were many hidden rules in the entertainment industry, even if you had great potential, just by being by Mo Zhen’s side would guarantee you a high position in the industry.

Tang Xiao did not know who Mo Zhen had slept with, but there at least must be many girls who wanted to sleep with him. Yet he had come here to eat alone, Tang Xiao could not help but be very confused.

This man had a seductive atmosphere all around him, almost fatal to any person nearby.

Tang Xiao bit her lips but still did not move, “Emperor Mo, must you refuse like this?” She herself had personally invited him, and yet he refused? This kind of thing Tang Xiao has never encountered.

Mo Zhen stepped back and only looked at Tang Xiao as he said: “Sorry, I am really full, the next time I have the opportunity I will invite you to eat, I truly apologize.”

Tang Xiao frowned, she would not think that since the year she turned 18 she would ever hear a man rejecting her and telling her there was always next time.

“Next time I’ll invite you to eat.” Tang Xiao smiled and slightly moved her body to give Mo Zhen s.p.a.ce to walk out. Although her heart was unwilling, but she was not in a rush to pull the man back to sell her goods.

Mo Zhen also smiled at Tang Xiao with great politeness, though underneath it was very cold and alienated. Watching as Mo Zhen’s figure disappeared into the distance, the restaurant guests finally let out a disappointed sigh.

They had thought they would be able to see a lightning-exciting drama, but the result was that the flower had been intentionally ruthlessly rejected.

The audience gave their bad reviews! Refund!

After leaving the restaurant, Ah Yao had been silent. Mo Zhen drove the car onto the road and looked at her sideways, “What’s wrong?”

“Well,” Ah Yao did not look at Mo Zhen and stared straight ahead, “Didn’t you tell me not to talk to you?”

Mo: “…”

Sometimes vexatious can be so unreasonable.

“Now no one is around, if you want to say something, say it.” Mo Zhen’s eyes looked back at the road, his driving pace maintain a not too slow and not too quick speed.

Ah Yao murmured a noise in reply and said: “There’s nothing for me to say, you just go and talk to that beautiful sister ah.”

Casting a glance at the person sitting beside him in the co-pilot seat, the corners of Mo Zhen’s mouth rose in amus.e.m.e.nt. When did this little female ghost learn to be jeal

ous?

But Ah Yao’s troubles, how could he understand them? After experiencing Xiao Xi, Song Ni, even Luo Tiancheng, and now tonight a black-haired beauty had entered the scene. Ah Yao truly felt that her family’s Zhen Zhen was targeted by many many evil wolves.

And she did not even have the qualifications to say it.

This was a very sad thing for Ah Yao, when she thought about it, she did not want to speak even more.

Watching Ah Yao pull a long face, Mo Zhen reluctantly smiled. The feelings the little ghost had for him, how could he not know? … … but like his master had said, ghosts were still ghosts.

Even if he did know about her feelings, what could he do about them?

The two people were thinking about each other, and the way back home was very silent.

The next few days Mo Zhen made Ah Yao stay at home to avoid the limelight, but after hiding low for three days, Ah Yao was on the brink of collapse. Although she could now go on the internet, but the websites Ah Yao went on were all related to Mo Zhen, and she would always stumble on continuous confessions from Mo Zhen’s fans to her family’s DaRen.

No matter where she went, from the internet to in real life, she would always see other people trying to covet her family’s Zhen Zhen to themselves!

Ah Yao was very unhappy, so she decided to run away from home – well, more like leave in the morning and come back at night.

She drifted aimlessly outside, but did not dare to go any farther from in the villa area. After wandering for a while, Ah Yao discovered that the villa neighborhood where Mo Zhen lived was really spa.r.s.ely populated and only a few cars could pa.s.s- all of them being luxury cars .

Ah Yao squatted on the sidewalk teasing a small black stray cat, and was seriously thinking about her own ghost life.

“Meow” the cute cat that was lying under Ah Yao’s hands obediently suddenly rushed out. It had just ran out onto the road, when a Ferrari came speeding towards it, it was even an obnoxious bright red colour.

Sitting in the driver’s seat was a woman, when she saw the black cat suddenly jump onto the road, she was so shocked that she had even forgotten to press onto the brakes.

Watching the still-speeding forward sports car, Ah Yao drifted forward quickly, “Be careful!”

Perhaps it was an illusion, but at that moment, Ah Yao felt like she was grabbing onto the cat, and then a ghost and a cat rolled into a ball.

The sound of a sharp brake pierced the sky and the Ferrari finally came to a stop, dust trails following behind it. The door opened and a woman came out.

“Are you okay?” The woman crouched down and looked at the black cat’s injury.

Ah Yao looked up at the front of the woman and with some doubt she said, “meow?”

ALL HAIL EMPEROR MO WHO LIVES LIKE A MONK
