While she was quite close with Xiao Yun, she showed no interest in any of the Xiao family’s other youths; this caused many people who were chasing her to feel infuriated.

Despite this, they couldn’t simply vent out their anger.

Just as the Xiao family’s youths were feeling incredibly jealous, a surprised voice sounded out, “Eh, Xiao Yun’s coming.”

“Xiao Yun?” Everyone looked over and saw the youth carrying a demonic python over.

Xiao Yun was currently striding towards his courtyard as he carried the demonic python.

“You…” When she saw how coldly Xiao Yun was acting, Lin Xiao Man was so angry that her eyes started to burn with fire.

Back when they were younger, Lin Xiao Man and Xiao Yun were very close. One time, Lin Xiao Man accidentally fell into a pool, and was saved by Xiao Yun. In order to thank Xiao Yun, the Lin family’s grandfather had said that he wanted to betroth his granddaughter to him. However, the Xiao family’s grandfather had rejected this.
