(O3O)/ – Here is Ch-30.1!!!

(OwO) – Enjoy the chapter∼♥

The children were really excited to know that Leonora would spend the night here in the orphanage with them, specially Emily, Anne and Marcel, who knew her real ident.i.ty.

These three usually slept early everyday, but because the real “Leo Onii-chan” was right in front of them, they kinda forgot about the winter festival due to their excitement.

It was already late in the afternoon when Leo arrived at the orphanage, but he still managed to spend a lot of time with the little kids. They had dinner together, Leo helped with the ch.o.r.es, and after that they played some more. However, halfway through the night, Leo noticed that he was so focused in playing with the little kids, that he even forgot to talk with Leena.

On the other hand though, Kai, who wanted to return to the academy as soon as the festival was over, found out that the carriage's shaft was broken. And since Lord Harkenberg specifically told him to never let his granddaughter ride on horseback, Kai sent the carriage to a blacksmith, which led to them needing to stay at the orphanage for a while longer, until the carriage was repaired.

But since it'd be rude to let the granddaughter of the current head of the Harkenberg family sleep with the other kids, Hannah lent her room to Leo. However, Kai couldn't possibly stay away from his master either, so he would sleep with Bruno and Leena in the neighboring room during their stay.

Thanks to that thought, right now Leo was teaching Elandic to Emily, Anne and Marcel, who were in his room.

Since Bruno was already teaching all the other kids how to speak in Elandic and Leena was teaching them grammar, Leo thought it'd be a good Idea to teach those three with practical examples in Elandic.

“Alright, the explanation is over! Now, the first question: What is the official name of my gold coin? You can only answer in Elandic.”

“The official name is Karl Heinz Raimund gold coin!” – Emily.

“That's right, but who changed the design of the coin to the current one?”

“Karl Heinz II!” – Anne.

Emily and Anne were on high spirits, which made Leo a bit happy, since they were really paying attention to the previous explanation–

“Karl Heinz II? Are you guys sure about that?”

–But Anne made a mistake, it wasn't Karl Heinz II.

“…It was Raimund II!” – Marcel.

“That was close, Marcel. But unfortunately it was Raimund III!”

Marcel was slower than Emily and Anne when it came to learning Elandic, but the pat he received from Leo was enough of a reward for his efforts.

On the other hand, Leena was really surprised to know how much Leo knew about the Weiz Empire, even she didn't know some of the things that he was teaching to Emily, Anne and Marcel.

“…*Whisper*…W-what's with that crazy quiz!? He's teaching History to them!? In Elandic!?”

But as she continued to listen on them through the wall, Leena noticed that the cla.s.s was s.h.i.+fting to math, a subject that she was good at.

“Now then, the second question: Hans went to the market to buy apples for his mother, but he only has 3 bronze coins. Considering that he's been doing this for 5 years now, how many apples can he buy?”

Since Leena was good at math, Leo's question was easy to answer, with 3 bronze coins, Hans could buy 33 apples. However, the logic answer was wrong in this case.

“40 apples and 5 extra oranges!” – Emily.

(Fufufu, that stupid brat is obviously wrong, there's no way you can buy 40 apples and 5 oranges with just–)

“That's right, Emily! Hans has been doing this for 5 years now, and he's obviously an acquaintance of the old lady selling the apples, so he's bound to receive some extras.”

“–Huh!?!?!?”

Leena was almost losing her head. To tell the truth, she knew that there was a possibility of Hans receiving some extra apples based on the question and what Leo said, but–

(–Where did those oranges came from!?!?!?)

In addition to being really compet.i.tive in weird ways, Leena continued listening on their cla.s.s with Leo, but she never managed to get an answer right, so she gave up.

“…*Dry tone*…Fufufufufu, I'm not mad… those questions were just too nonsensical, I'd never lose in knowledge against a little kid….”

“…Emily is the only one who can understand those weird questions, so you don't have to compete against her, Leena.”

“I-I know those that questions were a bit weird, Bruno! But I don't want to lose to that cheeky brat!”

Lately, it seemed that the only ones who could make Leena lose her head were Bruno and Emily, but with Leo added to that equation, things were about to get even more crazier than before.

“…Changing topics though, you know that you can't avoid Leo forever, right Leena–?”

As Leena sighed to calm herself, she laid back on her bed, pulled the blanket that was on her feet and covered her face with it. So Bruno continued what he was saying before, but this time, with a tone of complaint on his voice.

“–At first, I was worried that they were going to execute Leo because of that incident, but Hannah found out that I was going to sneak out of the orphanage. When I explained to her what happened, she said it'd be alright, and that Leo would certainly find a way to come back to us… and he really did.”

“…But I spent his gold coin, since he took too long to come back… and I don't even want to change back to my original body….”

“…Then, that's one more reason for you to tell him the truth. I'm sure he'll understand your side of the story.”

Leena then peaked her head out of the blanket, and said–

“–That money hungry beast is going to forgive me? Ha! You jest….”

“…Well, that's not my problem anyway, I just wanted to tell what is the right thing to do.”

“Haaah∼, how kind of you………. You know, I don't hate this body, the only problem is that I have to take care of those irritating kids all the time… I'm not a f***ing nanny….”

“…Heee∼, even though you were having a lot of fun while playing with them yesterday?”

Leena wanted to refute Bruno's statement, but she swallowed her words when she remembered all the fun things that happened in these past four months, while she was pretending to be Leo.

After noticing that the kids of the Hannah Orphanage were more capable than she thought, Leena did her best gain their trust, and for the first time in her life, she had to work to get her own money. Even the bread that she bought with her own money tasted better than before. (Tl/n: For those who forgot, Leena's mother runs a bakery, so she ended up getting tired of eating bread every day)

When she lost her magic power and her extraordinary beauty, Leena learned that life was harder than she thought. But at the same time, her days weren't as gray as before.

During the past month, Leena, Bruno and Emily worked really hard on a strategy to sell their products during the winter festival and the spirit festival that would happen shortly after.

But unlike Leo, Leena didn't care about making a huge profit out of every little thing, so their days weren't as packed with a lot of things to do as when Leo was still living in the orphanage.

Even Emily, who at first only referred to Leena as Fake Leo Onii-chan, was now calling Leena by her name.

Leena did a lot of stupid and ridiculous things with Leo's body during these past four months, like gaining control of the entire downtown area by subduing most of the scattered criminal gangs, or selling fake magic crests to a bunch of stupid n.o.bles. But she didn't regret any of it, and she didn't want to return to those boring days.

“…*Whisper*…Haaah∼, I wish I could stay like this forever….”

Leena pushed the blanket that was covering her to the side, then she sat on her bed, stood up, and started walking towards the door.

“…Are you going out for a night walk again?”

“Yeah… all that talk about me and Leo changing back got me bored to death, so I'll go outside for a bit–”

Lately, because Leena was being lazy all the time, she started gaining some weight, so she sometimes went out for a night walk.

“–Besides, today I wanted to go test that medicine on some of our rival gangs, but Leo was here when we got back, so I didn't have the time to go there earlier.”

“…Okay, just don't kill them.”

“Relax, this medicine is just going to give them a painful stomach ache.”

But before Leena could open the door–

“Excuse me….”

–Kai entered the room.

Apparently, Kai had already finished sending the carriage to a blacksmith, so Leena knocked on the wall two times to let Leo know that his butler had returned.

“Oh, you guys even prepared my bed, thank you.”

Kai closed the door, then he bowed to Bruno and Leena, and sat on his bed.

At first glance, no one would think that this skinny guy was the butler of a High n.o.ble Lady, such as the granddaughter of Lord Harkenberg, but his respect and loyalty towards his master was the real deal, which made Kai stand out as a perfect servant.

“…You, don't worry, about that.” (Tl/n: Bruno is still using broken language )

“So? How was the carriage?”

“About that—”

Kai had a hint of worry and anxiety on his face—

“—We still don't know what actually happened. Before we departed, I checked the entire carriage to see if there was anything wrong with it, but there wasn't. However, after we arrived in Richard, I checked the carriage again… and found out that the metal parts holding the shaft were rusted.”

—He didn't know if the shaft was broken because they overworked the carriage, or if someone had broken the carriage on purpose.

“If I'm not wrong, metals are vulnerable to acid, right?”

“…Huh?”

“There are a lot of criminal organisations spread throughout Richard, you know? It could have been any of them, but that's probably not the case–”

(–Since they don't have the b.a.l.l.s to enter my turf anyway)

“No… you're probably right. Leonorsama wanted to stay here in Richard for a couple of days anyway, so that's not the problem…… there's always someone aiming to hurt her, I just hope that the knights can take care of them this time too.”

“W-wait! There's people aiming her!?”

In Leena and Bruno's heads, Leo probably did something to upset the wrong people this time, like when he stole that coin from Prince Albert–

(Maybe they're debt collectors…)

–But what Kai was about to tell them was more shocking than they expected.
