There was a futon above the firewall. It was used by Xiao Jing-Mi when he was small to train chanting spells. At the side of it, there was a small table. There was three small pottery on the table. The middle pottery had become a bowl for the incense. There was few burned incense too in it. On the side, it placed with wild fruits which were an offering for the Yan G.o.d.
On the side of the firewall, there was a small bamboo bookshelf near the front door. It was a gift from his junior, Ke-Zhang. There were also placed neatly with sacred books.
A few bamboo boxes were placed near the bookshelf. There was nothing inside the box. It was just some worn-out white robes and a broken needle. He must mend the clothes by his own if torn. By the age of five, Xiao Jing-Mi had learned it.
The whole room was extremely simple but very clean. No specks of dust were spotted. Every morning he woke up, he would clean his room and the courtyard.
After finished cleaning, he put the wild fruits and the vegetables neatly to sundry. He brought a wooden barrel to take some water from the well.
After that, he went back to his house. He used a cloth and simply took a bath. After wiped his body, he cleaned his room.
A worker from the kitchen came and was carrying a bamboo food box and salute respectfully.
“Young master, this is tonight’s dinner.”
“Uncle Zhao, you can leave the food box at the door. I will take it by myself later on.”
He nodded and left the food box at the front door.
Xiao Jing-Mi took it and put it on the table. He then opened it.
At the West Gate, if he trained into the third stage, he would not have to go to the canteen to eat. He could just have someone to bring the food into his house.
The food box was opened. There were four sorghums, a huge bowl of vegetable soup, and a small dish of pickles. These were Xiao Jing-Mi’s dinner.
He was used to it after so many years. He added seasonings into the pickles with chili. Four sorghums sure could make him fulfill his hunger.
He brought the food box back into the kitchen. Xiao Jing-Mi went back to his room. He placed neatly his futon on the floor and began to meditate.
This was the real time for him to meditate.
It needed time to practice at this stage. It did not need to have any special exercises or methods. It was just a simple training by chanting spells.
That was the so-called Yan training. We all had our own treasures inside our body.
Every Yan disciples had their own Yan treasures inside their heart. It has many forms. It could be fish-shaped, or even daily things. These were all low leveled shaped. There was no big difference.
If the quality was better, it would have a shape like an axe, swords, was pestle, and other devices in virtual shapes.
After Xiao Jing-Mi converted himself, his heart appeared a tower. When it just came out, it was only one floored tower. Now the tower has grown into two and a half floor. He called that as a tower of the heart.
There was something he did not know. The tower in his heart appeared a small point. This small point pointed to another tower and he could see them clearly.
In fact, there were two towers inside his heart.
These towers were the famous in Yan world, million spells of tents!
Of course, in his current power, he still did not find the treasures in these towers. These Yan treasures were hidden in the tower in his heart.
Xiao Jing-Mi was chanting his spells. He could chant two different kinds of spells. One by one he chanted.
Once he changed fluently, his energy rose up.
The energy of the spells could bring him more power and intelligence. It can also be formed the tower in his heart.
Every time he changed, these spells could appear in the tower. So if he changed more, the tower could see clearer and the spells would be written in the tower.
Xiao Jing-Mi understood well about the tower but he still did not know if the tower was formed by the million spells.
He learned the spells really well and fluent. When he had not learned to speak, he listened to these spells every day. Until the age of tenth, he began to learn.
He was holding Yan bead while chanting. This Yan bead was made by himself when he was younger. He found a good quality of Yan wood and when he walked through the West Gate, everyone was jealous but they felt shame if they grab it from a child.
Yan wood and Tian Lang wood were the Yan family excellent woods. These woods were good to make a bead. Of course, Yan family had another good wood called Xiang Long wood, Xi Tan wood, Chen Xiang wood and another kind. These were the high quality of wood. Yan wood was still the top grade to produce beads.
Xiao Jing-Mi was holding the Yan bead. He had meditated for a full three years. This was the only thing that he made. Every time he needed to meditate, he would put down from his wrist.
