In order to save on s.h.i.+pping costs, after buying the books, Shen Wei Jun decided she would carry the books home.

But there were a total of 60 books she had to carry altogether.  Although each book was thin, tied together the weight was terrible so Li Wei Feng volunteered as her porter and send her back.

Once they reached her home, upon seeing her mother busy in the noodle shop, Li Wei Feng greeted her mother before placing the books on the table.  Shen Wei Jun thanked him and entered the kitchen to help her mother.

Noticing the noodle shop was busy, Li Wei Feng not wanting to leave, volunteered to serve the customers.

Being busy in the kitchen, Shen Wei Jun felt embarra.s.sed enough to have Li Wei Feng carry her books back, but to have him help out in their noodle shop, she’s troubled him enough.

“Ah!  You hurry back!”

“Never mind, I don’t have anything pressing to do today.”  Li Wei Feng smiled, then saw the guests come in and went to greet them.

“Welcome, there are seats.  What would you like to have today?”

He was full of energy receiving guests making Shen Wei Jun’s mother smile.

“Xiao Jun, when do you have time for a boyfriend?  Dare to hide from your mother.”

“No, he’s not!  Mom, we’re just cla.s.smates.”

“Is that right?”  Shen Wei Jun’s mother smiled without questioning her lies.

Just looking at the boy, one could clearly see he likes her daughter.  He didn’t seem like someone who would casually take a cla.s.smate home.

“Really!  Mom, he just helped with the books that’s all.”

“Alright.”  Shen Wei Jun’s mother was busy ringing up customers, waved, and didn’t want to bicker with her daughter.

After the store idles down, she will cross examine them.

After the busy dinner rush, Shen Wei Jun’s mother cooked three bowls of seafood noodles and called them over to eat.

“It was really hard for you!”

“It was nothing, thank you Auntie.”  Li Wei Feng smelled the rich aroma of the noodles, picked up the chopsticks and ate happily.  “Wow!  This really smells good!”

He noticed his seafood bowl had a mountain of food.

Li Wei Feng secretly looked at Shen Wei Jun and Auntie’s bowl, he guessed that she cooked this especially for him.

“Eat a little more!”  Shen Wei Jun’s mother looked at the boy, his face like a flower.  “Xiao Jun, why haven’t you introduced him yet?  How long have you two been together?”

“Mom, didn’t I say?  He is my cla.s.smate……”  Originally she wanted to emphasize the “only”, but Li Wei Feng interrupted.

“Auntie, we haven’t started dating.”

Shen Wei Jun rudely stared at him.

He actually said “not yet”.  It sounded like they were about to start dating.  Please, who cares for him?

“When are you going to start dating?”  Shen Wei Jun’s mother looked at him curiously.

“Auntie, do you agree to let me date Wei Jun?”

Shen Wei Jun instantly flushed and before her mother could respond.  “Hey!  You should ask me if I want to, right?”

This guy played dead for so long and now is b.u.t.tering up her mother.  She doesn’t believe Li Wei Feng really wanted to…

“Well, Shen Wei Jun, would you like to date me?”  Li Wei Feng smiled at her.

“What?”

“Will you go on a date with me?”  Li Wei Feng’s face has a full smile.

“Well, I approve.”  Shen Wei Jun’s mother has a good impression of Li Wei Feng.  Of course, this is only the first meeting.  Although unfamiliar, but the boy’s advance and retreat att.i.tude is able to get her daughter to go from frightened to surprise in minutes makes her very satisfied.

“Mom, don’t mess around.  This is between the two of us, how can you approve?”

“Why?  I’m just expressing my opinion as your mother!  He has asked for my permission from the beginning!” Shen Wei Jun’s mother smiled and turned to Li Wei Feng.  “Handsome boy, she may be shy.  You introduce yourself.”

“Yes Auntie, my name is Li Wei Feng, Wei Jun’s cla.s.smates.”

Shen Wei Jun’s mother listened and nodded, then she suddenly remembered something.  “Huh?  Li Wei Feng? Is it that hateful student that took the first place scholars.h.i.+p away from you?”

“Yes, I am that d.a.m.ned Li Wei Feng.”  Li Wei Feng could not help but smile.

Shen Wei Jun wanted to vomit blood.

“Mom, why would you say that?”  Shen Wei Jun’s face turned red.

She had vented at home to get things off her chest, but did not think her mother would reveal everything in front of him.

“Ha ha ha!  No relation, no relation……”  Looking at Shen Wei Jun and her embarra.s.sed face, Li Wei Feng did not mind he was scolded.  Although Shen Wei Jun cursed, but the curse words are only to the degree of “hateful”, he feels it is very cute.

“You laugh, laughing in the end, what for?”

“Tsk!”  Shen Wei Jun’s mother stared at her daughter.  “Why is your speech so bad?  Is this how I taught you?”

Shen Wei Jun muttered, “I didn’t say you taught, this is not cursing!  It’s often heard on the streets outside……”

“Others are others, you are you.  Next time don’t be so rude, you hear?”

“Okay, okay!”  Shen Wei Jun had to compromise, but when she saw Li Wei Feng with the annoying smile she couldn’t blame him so just stared.

“Xiao Jun, this a matter of conscience.  Do you want to date him?”

“Do not.”  Shen Wei Jun stared at her.

“Why?”  Shen Wei Jun’s mother felt endless regret.  In front of the boy she is very satisfied, but did not expect her daughter to reject ah!

“Strange mom, I’m the one who refused.  Why do you care so much?”

Shen Wei Jun’s mother listened and immediately gave the boy a wink.  “What are you still doing there?  Ask her why she doesn’t want to date you!”

Li Wei Feng smiled unabashedly, obediently turned to Shen Wei Jun, “Excuse me, why don’t you want to date me?”

“I don’t like you!  What else?”  Shen Wei Jun felt her head was about to explode.

Is it necessary to act like a gentleman in front of her mother?

He hasn’t even charmed her!  You want to charm my mother?

No, no, he got her into this problem.  Li Wei Feng, this guy played dead for so long, why suddenly the change in position?

And in front of her mom, it’s almost like a knife in her back, so she’s scared.

“Oh!”  Li Wei Feng immediately held his chest.

“Hey ah!  Did I teach you this?  Not polite!  Even if you want to refuse people, you cannot say so directly.”  Shen Wei Jun’s mother said, swatting her daughter’s shoulder, turned and looked at the boy, “I say ah!  Did you do things in the wrong order?”

“Ah?”  Li Wei Feng’s smile froze, looking at her mother perplexed.

“Have you confessed to Xiao Jun?”

Li Wei Feng is a wise man and immediately understood her meaning.

But this was not the place, when he intends to confess it would be he and Shen Wei Jun alone, not here with her mother….

“Aren’t you?  Why blush ah?  You are a boy, you should be direct!”  Shen Wei Jun’s mother showed some force.

“Young people today do not dare confess?”

Gathering courage Li Wei Feng decided to.

“Wei Jun, I like you.  Will you date me?”

“I really can’t stand you ah!”  Shen Wei Jun stared at them.  Why does she feel like the outsider?  “Didn’t I just say?  I don’t like him!”

“Didn’t he take first place from you?”  Shen Wei Jun’s mother shouted in his defense.  “Xiao Jun, you are not smart enough.  Don’t push him away, okay?”

“Mom!  How could you?  I’ll beat him next time, you’ll see!”

“Ah…… That’s right.”  Shen Wei Jun’s mother turned to him in a kindly manner, “I say Xiao Feng ah!  Our family Xiao Jun loves face.  On the next exam, slightly let her look good huh?”

“Alright.”  Li Wei Feng nodded in agreement.
