Prologue

Matsus.h.i.+ro Kota considered himself an ordinary person

Kota, even as a child, did not have a particular dream. When the other children said something like a doctor or actress he just shrugged saying “I don’t know”,he considered himself ordinary,  without any special abilities. Even his father only worked at a medium-sized company but with a decent pay.

Kota was a relatively a lazy person and could be described as a typical otaku during his childhood. During his high school years, he studied hard and avoided all outside contact. If there was a person who could be a poster boy for the motto “hard work is reciprocated by result” it would have definitely have been Kota.
Kota worked hard and got admitted into a modestly famous university. Even in his university days he was a shut in and even went as far as rejecting blind dates. He read about job opportunities through magazines and tailored his resume with activities to be selected into a decent company. At the end of his years he was placed into one such company which could be called  big on the streets.

The company he joined in was a performance oriented company. Thanks to his skills he picked up from his schools days, he worked hard with no signs of social life and was sent to the headquarters with a promotion.

He could be evaluated as a person with low self-esteem. He worked and did his job which was expected from him and had a fairly boring life ,at least it was that way.

Kota felt his head spinning ,when he opened his eyes he saw an interior of an European  style tower .

“…… Well I must ask now”. Kota suddenly heard a beautiful voice,and turned to face the source of that voice.

In front of Kota, at the corner of the tower, was a blonde haired girl with a beautiful face and  hair that reached her hips dressed in an attire that showed her high social standing,which matched her charm.

“……”

With a travelling bag in one hand, and  a familiar paper cup takeout from the famous coffee shop in the other hand. Kota wearing a suit, was standing before the eyes of the beautiful woman with a little bit of hope …… She slowly spoke again ,with a tinge of resignation in her voice.

“……are ….you..a….hero?”.

The words of the beauty had hit his ears, but in order to understand what was going on, Kota drank a mouthful of coffee from the cup his hand. Yes, it was bitter and hot. Then…. this was not a dream?

“What the …, Am I dead?”

To  Kota ‘s words , the beautiful girl  quizzically call out.

“……No”.

Kota considered how to reply  and started with self-introduction, then started speaking.

“My name is Matsus.h.i.+ro Kota of JuEtsu Bank ,Corporate Planning Department. Me, fulfilling the Criteria of hero is ambiguous, what I can do depends on the situation as i never remember doing anything like a hero, but ……”

So, he continued with his blabbering.

“…… At least, for now I am a normal bank employee”.

…… This was a “normal” bank employee, summoned to a different world of a Kingdom, to the Flame kingdom. He had a little bit of wisdom, with not so great courage,but a great deal of humility and a sincere personality. He had average luck with an element of a certain lottery of survival,it is the story of Matsus.h.i.+ro Kota a twenty-six years old.
