Obsession: Obsession Part 24

"Oh I'm sorry to interrupt but I just need to clarify a few things up." The doctor walked in and f.u.c.king ruined the moment.

"What is it?" Alec looked a little worried.

"Oh nothing to worry about. I just to make sure we have the correct information I won't take up too much of your time."

"That's okay." Miranda wanted her to hurry up so Alec could say what she thought he was going to say... That he loved her.

"How far are you into your pregnancy?" Both Miranda and Alec stared dumbly at the doctor. "Following our earlier blood test it looks like perhaps sixteen weeks, is that correct?" Neither said a word. They just stared at the doctor in disbelief. "Oh dear, you didn't know you were pregnant?" As if talking to herself, the realization hit the doctor. "Well then congratulations you are officially four months pregnant. I'll leave you to absorb the news and I'll come back in a little while," the doctor left, leaving Alec and Miranda with their mouths opened wide.

Miranda was shocked to say the least, pregnant! Holy f.u.c.k! "Um I need a shower." Miranda left Alec and hurried into the bathroom. Taking off her clothes Miranda felt her stomach, she couldn't believe there was a baby growing inside of her. Her baby, Alec's baby, oh boy what will happen now?

When Miranda finished her shower, she was grateful that Crystal had bought her clothes, just in case Miranda awoke and needed to wear something. Simple pants and a neat top, not her choice of clothing but it was better than the hospital robe. Wrapping her hair in a towel Miranda made her way out to discuss the baby thing.

Alec wasn't there. She was alone, go figure Alec couldn't handle a situation so he leaves or discards you! Why was she not surprised?

Alec needed time to register and sort out a plan. He hated not being in control. He could kill a man without blinking but he couldn't handle unexpected news. Now what Miranda?

Alec found it extremely hard to breathe. Miranda was having a baby, his baby! How the f.u.c.k was he going to deal with this! Always f.u.c.king something when it came to Miranda. The last time they thought she might be pregnant Miranda had said she'd want that filth out of her. Those words kept replaying in his head. He was working himself up but he couldn't help it. How could he allow her to raise his kid when she didn't want it in her? This was f.u.c.king bad!

Alec walked into her hospital room at the same time Miranda was talking to the police. His heart stopped. "Um this is Alec, Alec this is Officer Jones and Officer Murray, this is Alec."

"Are you Ms. Branford's partner?"

"Yes I'm Alec deAngelo," they scribbled notes on their pads.

"Mr. deAngelo we need to ask you if you noticed anybody or anything suspicious when you found Ms Bradford unconscious?" Yes he noticed a madman who he killed and would happily kill again.

"No I'm sorry nothing at all. I'm sorry I can't be of more help." They handed Alec a card and told him if he thought of anything at all to call them. Yep sure thing.

"You left."

"Needed air. How you feeling?" He asked while running a hand through his hair.

"I will be discharged today. Seems I'm doing fine. Maybe we should discuss..."

"Not now Miranda! Please just leave it for now."

Miranda was started to feel that this was not what Alec wanted. Great! Maybe she should leave with her baby, she would never allow a child to feel unwanted. If Alec was burdened with the baby she would pick herself up and leave. Maybe he didn't want her fat or with stretch marks, whatever the reason Miranda would deal with it. She was a survivor and if anything needed her to be strong it was that little baby growing inside her. Now Miranda had a purpose in life and that was to protect her unborn child.

The drive back to the manor was very quiet. Carlos drove while Alec and Miranda avoided any contact or conversation. Alec was having a real difficult time coming to terms with the whole pregnancy issue. Miranda seemed lost in her thoughts. Filth! She would call their child filth, he had punished her severely that time, locking her in the bas.e.m.e.nt without any sort of luxuries. She was soaking wet and down in the bas.e.m.e.nt there was no heating whatsoever. He left her there for almost a week. Now she was carrying his child for real, could she still feel this way about it? Did she want it out of her body? He'd be d.a.m.ned if he allowed his child to be subjected to feel unwanted. He'd take the child away and never let her see it. f.u.c.k!

Miranda was happy when they were home... Home well when they were back at the manor anyway. Miranda walked in and went straight to her room, closing the door and crying with her back to the door. How could he be so cold to her after everything she had just been through? Why was he being so weird? Miranda was going to deal with this, one way or another she was going to figure this out.

Miranda was not going to allow him to pretend that she wasn't pregnant or this wasn't happening. This was real and he needed to deal with this. If he wanted her out then he would need to tell her.

After being in her room since returning from the hospital Miranda needed fresh air the next morning. Getting dressed in her jean shorts and a whit singlet Miranda made her way downstairs and out to the yard. The sun felt wonderful on her skin. She sat by the rose bushes on the gra.s.s and tried to get some clarity on her current situation. Boy Miranda you sure find yourself in the most complicated circ.u.mstances.

"Oh Miranda I'm so glad you're okay." Miranda smiled at Crystal's concerned voice.

"Hey Crystal, thank you so much for the clothes and toiletries, you thought of everything." Crystal laid a towel on the floor and sat beside Miranda. It was funny seeing Crystal trying to not to ruin her designer clothes.

"Must have been an ordeal? You poor thing, I can only imagine, if you ever need to talk, I'm here okay. I'm not the best with heart to hearts but I'm really fond of you so there I said it..." Miranda had an urge to cry, she hugged Crystal with all her strength.

"Crystal why do these things happen to me?"

"Oh honey I know you've had a rough trot, but hang in there, Alec is just a little confused. You need to remember that he doesn't cope when he's not in total control. It will work out, trust me."

Alec stood by the gla.s.s door looking at Miranda. He would deal with this today. It had to be worked out. He would not touch Miranda until his child was born. He turned and walked back to his office. Calling Carlos to fetch Miranda! No time like the present.

Miranda walked into his office absolutely radiant. Her lump on her temple had settled into a bruise. "You wanted to see me?" Alec knew she wasn't happy.

"Take a seat," gees Miranda thought this is serious.

"Miranda we need to discuss the pregnancy. It's obvious we're at odds regarding the baby. It shocked us both, but it needs to be dealt with."

"Dealt with? Alec I've pretty much accepted everything about you. But having my baby dealt with, I won't accept. I will raise it alone, you need never know it. I'm sorry that things are always so complicated between us but you getting rid of my child is not on. You'll have to kill me first." There she said it. Now he can tell her to leave.

Alec leaned back into his chair studying her. "You think I'd ask you to abort my child? You think I'm that f.u.c.ked up that I'd harm my child? What the f.u.c.k Miranda?"

"I don't know what you want! You shut me out, every time I think you accept us you do a whole three sixty and I don't know you anymore. I love you I always have, but to raise a child together you need to accept that you have feelings for me. I know you do but why can't you see it?" Miranda let her tears fall, why couldn't he just say he loved her.

Ale moved around and stood in front of Miranda leaning on his desk. "You doubt I love you? You doubt that I would go to all this trouble to find you? Miranda either your very naive or very stupid." Miranda looked at him through teary eyes "You love me? Well about time you've come to your senses, wouldn't want to kick your a.s.s in front of your kid." Alec took her hand and pulled her to him hugging her tightly. "Say you love me... I want to hear it." She said really needing confirmation.

He kissed her forehead. "I love you," it felt strange to say.

"Who do you belong to?" The little witch was teasing him.

"I belong to you..." He replied cupping her face as he kissed her.

"Yes you do and don't you forget it..." She was obviously trying to make light of the situation. But then she took on a more serious not. "Alec what's going to happened now?" Alec graced her with his lopsided grin, grabbing her roughly by her hair and moving in closer to her.

"What's this Alec business? How do you address me?" He was hurting her and he knew it.

"Master, I address you as master..." He released her hair and kissed her pa.s.sionately.

"And don't you ever forget it."

Epilogue.

During Miranda's pregnancy both Alec and Carlos treated her like she was made of gla.s.s and would easily break. By the end of her pregnancy Miranda wanted them to die! She wasn't allowed to eat junk food, nor was she allowed to walk, cook, dance... Everything was an issue for these two. What really got to Miranda was Alec refused to f.u.c.k her! This was where her mood went sour and she would sulk and whine and Alec refused to give in. He'd often comment things like "See sometimes not doing anything at all is punishment enough."

Alec would kiss her bare belly any chance he had. Miranda oddly enough felt very loved and adored. He was her man although he wasn't your average lover he was what Miranda craved. After giving birth to a four kilo blue eyed boy, Alec was absolutely joyous, handing out cigars to anybody and everybody at the hospital. Carlos was a doting uncle and Crystal tried to act like she wasn't overly affected by the baby yet Miranda often found her cooing at the child.

Life was never the same after baby Zayn, he was a spitting image of his father. Dark hair, dark lashes and striking blue eyes, he did however have his mother's dimples. Miranda took on the role of motherhood easily enough. She had no luck breast feeding it was just not working out, so formula was the way to go. Her body returned to the way it was before she fell pregnant.

The only complaint Miranda had was when Alec hired a nanny. Alec's excuse was that he needed Miranda and having a nanny around would make her available to him whenever his heart desired. Miranda wasn't happy but it was always Alec's way or no way.

If Miranda thought that fatherhood would change Alec or his ways Miranda was sadly mistaken. Alec was as brutal as ever, if anything he was much worse than before, blaming her for making him need her. There was even a time where Miranda was laughing with the new gardener Troy, just watching him work while Zayn was crawling on her lap and on the gra.s.s happily pulling the gra.s.s. Alec was furious, he ordered Gina the nanny to take Zayn and punished Miranda by whipping her till he'd had enough, then he threatened her that she'd never see Zayn again. He further punished her by locking her in her room for a week.

Alec would often blame her for things like she was always too preoccupied with Zayn, Miranda would explain to him that she had nothing else to. She was always there when he needed her so she couldn't understand his insecurities. Miranda learnt to try involve Alec in activities with the baby. It took him a while but he was relaxing a lot more playing the father role.

Miranda knew that Alec would and could easily turn. For most of the time he was okay, but every now and again he's jealously would rear its ugly head and depending on how bad he thought it was he would punish her accordingly.

Miranda learnt to accept this life because she did love Alec and she knew in his twisted way he loved her too, and because he would threaten taking Zayn away from her. She knew Alec didn't make empty threats so Miranda tried not to get into too much trouble... Which for her wasn't always easy.

But all in all Alec was her dark knight, he was always ready to save her. He always came back for her, always. Giving Miranda a little more freedom Alec allowed her to go see Katie every now and again. To her surprise Alec had paid all of Katie's repayments and Miranda was overwhelmed with his generosity. Zayn was never allowed out without Alec accompanying them. Miranda learned to adjust her life to Mr. Obsessive's needs.

The s.e.x was still amazing and the more he hurt her the more she would become aroused. That was her perfect imperfect life.

"Who do you belong to?" Alec had her on her knees.

"I belong to you master."
