"Aight. Let me get you straight."
"I need something to drink."
Baseem looked around and spotted a towel; he rolled it up and put it behind her head. "I'll be right back," he got up and headed to the kitchen. After fumbling around he saw some straws and poured her some water.
Baseem kneeled down and a.s.sisted her with a few sips. She was weak, but she was alive and that alone was comforting.
"Lay back. I got you, ma. Let me get some things and I'll be right back," he stood up, pulled out his cell phone and began his mission. He gave Brian a list for the store, cleared everything with Kayson then checked on the baby. Once he had secured the perimeter, he began his mission. He covered her up with a sheet then went to work. His first step was to open the windows and get some air in there.
"What the f.u.c.k," he yelled out when he found a small bit of throw up next to the bed. He shook it off and began grabbing things, shoving them in a garbage bag. By the time he had the sheets changed and trash secured, the bell rang.
Baseem tied up the bag and headed to the door. When he pulled it open his package was right there waiting. He paused reached in his pocked and pulled out a few bills.
Brian was standing there proud and happy with a small smile on his face. "Here you go, sir," he held out the bag. "And I'll take that," he reached out and took the money from Baseem's hand and the trash from the other.
"Thanks again."
"Anytime, sir. Please give Miss. Brooks my best," he turned and walked away from the door.
Baseem closed and locked the door then placed the items on the kitchen counter. He turned on the front eye on the stove, grabbed a pot and put the chicken noodle soup in it. As it came to a boil, he read the directions on the Nyquil then made a cup of hot tea and poured some inside.
"This will f.u.c.k a cold up," he chuckled then headed to the bathroom.
Kneeling again by her side, he shook her awake, lifted her head and got the medicine moving into her system. Once she drank half a cup, he sat her up then ran her a shower.
"This is not a good look," he joked.
"f.u.c.k you, Bas," she mumbled then gave him a slight smile.
"Not looking like this you won't," he returned.
Baseem pulled his s.h.i.+rt over his head and then lifted her to her feet.
"I can't. I'm dizzy as h.e.l.l," she shook her head slowly.
"I got you, ma," he said, sitting her back down.
Baseem stripped down to his brown skin then pulled her into his arms. He pulled her out of her pajamas then carried her naked body to the shower.
Goldie leaned against his warm, smooth chest as he ran the soapy cloth over her back. The hot water felt so good going over her skin and his firm, yet gentle, touch soothed her aches and pains.
"Thank you, Bas," she mumbled as he turned her around and put her back against his chest.
Baseem carefully washed her body and fought to keep his d.i.c.k from stiffening. Goldie had the perfect body; fat juicy a.s.s, small waist and perky firm breast. G.o.d, you got jokes he said to himself as he completed his task.
Baseem stepped out with Goldie in his arms; he grabbed two towels and dried her off then himself. Goldie put her head back on the pillow as he laid her down on the crisp clean sheets. Baseem searched the draws, found a little black nighty and slipped it over her head.
"You always take good care of me; thank you."
"I told you I got you."
Goldie snuggled up like a baby and pa.s.sed out. Baseem tucked his towel around his waist and collected the sheets and clothing. He placed them in the machine then headed back to the room. After getting her to take a few sips of water, he then got in the bed next to her. Goldie cuddled up against him and moaned a little before she drifted off again.
When Baseem got to his car and turned on the phone there were several messages from Simone. He listened to them then hit her number.
"Hey you. You alright?"
"I guess."
"What does that mean?" he asked as he pulled from his parking spot.
"I can't understand why I only see you maybe twice a week and then when I call you, you don't answer," she said as she took a seat on her bed.
"You know I be traveling, but you got me right now," Baseem spit that slick s.h.i.+t.
"You think you are so cute," she addressed his confident att.i.tude.
"Don't worry ma, I got you. I just have to move around for a few more days."
"I am going to hold you to that," she smiled lightening the mood.
"What you got on?"
"Why?"
"Take all that s.h.i.+t off, I'm on my way," he hung up giving her no time to respond.
Simone's kitty jumped as she looked down at her phone. She placed it on the nightstand then did just as she was told. It had been days since she saw him and she could not wait to fell his touch.
Chapter 28.
Reflection KoKo moved slowly around the bedroom in her bra and panties. She sat down then lay back on the bed and stared at the ceiling.
"Why you naked?" Kayson asked as he moved over to where she lay.
"Just taking a quick minute to get my head straight for your little field trip," KoKo said as she rolled over on her stomach placing her hands under her chin.
Kayson walked over and laid on KoKo's back. "Why I gotta convince you to handle your business," he spoke into her ear then planted a few tender kisses on her neck.
"You know I don't do b.i.t.c.hes," KoKo stated firmly.
"I know you don't do b.i.t.c.hes. But you are a boss and you gotta handle your business," he said as she stretched her hands out over her head and parted her legs with his.
"I have a feeling you are going to try and convince me that this whole dinner thing is a good idea," KoKo purred as she felt Kayson maneuvering her thong to the side.
"And I have a feeling that after these back shots, you are going to get along with your friends a whole lot better," he responded as he slid between her slippery wet lips.
"Mmmm..." KoKo let out a soft moan as she felt his inches go deeper.
Kayson gave her exactly what she needed to get her mind right. He stroked and gave her one power o.r.g.a.s.m after another.
KoKo stepped into the shower and quickly washed herself from head to toe. She dressed herself, grabbed her clutch, filled it with a few hundred and a black card; then she tucked her guns and stopped briefly, kissing Kayson's lips.
"Be good," he warned.
"Be awake when I get in," she threatened, giving him a wink as she turned to walk away.
Kayson chuckled and smacked her b.u.t.t. "Oh, I'll be all the way up."
KoKo just giggled and shook her head on her way out the room.
When KoKo arrived at the restaurant, all the girls where already there and seated. She walked with a little swag to her step as she felt the slight throb of her kitty against her jeans.
"The next b.i.t.c.h can't even open the door for my man."
"I be like...no, thank you, I got his k.n.o.bs," Deena chuckled as she brought her folk to her mouth.
"Girl, bye...these lurking a.s.s side b.i.t.c.hes is winning. You gotta have eyes on all sides of your head," Goldie chimed in.
"Well, I'm good; I ain't worried about the next chic. If she can take him, she can have him," Simone responded, sipping her virgin drink.
KoKo sat back and looked around the table as her confidants tossed around dumb a.s.s statements; she could do business with females, but friends.h.i.+p was annoying. They always said some s.h.i.+t to rub her the wrong way. She crossed her legs and took her gla.s.s by the stem.
"Why you looking like that, KoKo?" Deena asked with a side-eye. "Oh, that's right...the Boss ain't leaving his First Lady," Deena joked, perching her lips to the side.
Goldie shook her head...she already knew.
KoKo took in a little air then enlightened her understudies. "b.i.t.c.h, I wouldn't lose no sleepover a n.i.g.g.a even if he held my eyes open," she spat locking eyes with Deena. "It just baffles my mind that a b.i.t.c.h could convince herself that the next b.i.t.c.h took her man," she paused and sat her drink on the table. "A man doesn't leave his woman for the next chic. That n.i.g.g.a was already leaving regardless; the fact that she welcomed him with open arms and legs into his transformation is called convenience, not a reason. These bench-able b.i.t.c.hes need to sit down and take notes because if he left you then you been out the game. The other b.i.t.c.h just so happened to ring the buzzer."
KoKo reached in her clutch and pulled out a couple thousand, laid it on the table, then rose to her feet and her bodyguard came to attention. "Continue to have a good evening, ladies. Remember: if a b.i.t.c.h gets your spot, it was never really yours in the first place. Be easy," KoKo moved around the table headed to the exit.
"I respect that b.i.t.c.h. Her p.u.s.s.y got value. She is the truth; y'all b.i.t.c.hes better take notes," Adreena teased. "Let me get y'all another drink. You b.i.t.c.hes done dried up with that piece of advice," she laughed as she flagged down the waitress.
Adreena was parked outside the restaurant waiting for the last lady to pull off. She reached over into her glove box and pulled out some hand lotion and applied it as she planned her route back to the Lion's Den. She was prepared to pull off when she looked up and say Pete moving through the parking lot like he was on a mission. Adreena slid down in her seat and watched. When she saw Magic pull in she knew s.h.i.+t had just changed.
"Well what do we have here?" she mumbled.
Pete got in Magic's car and sat for about fifteen minutes then hopped out and jumped back in his truck with a small bag. When Pete pulled off so did she, his a.s.s was about to be in for a rude awakening.
Chapter 29.
The Revelation...
Baseem sat in his rental car watching as KoKo stepped out of Rock's house giving him a hug and then moving toward the cab that was parked in his driveway. He slid down in his seat as she scanned the block before jumping in her ride and taking off. Baseem started to grab his gun and run up in Rock's house and blow his brains out. But his cooler head took over and moved his hand to the gear s.h.i.+ft and his foot to the gas pedal. He knew that Kayson needed to know what was going on then make his own moves; he was not about to murder over the next n.i.g.g.a's p.u.s.s.y.
After following KoKo to the Atlanta airport, he watched her head inside then he pulled off. After making the runs through the city and setting things up with Chico, he too was on his way back to New York; he needed to get the secret off his chest. Kayson had had two men he loved and trusted betray him, and he was not going to be the third.
Kayson was seated at his desk going over in his mind what needed to be done next. He knew that he needed to make moves that were well calculated. Kayson looked up from his desk to see Baseem walking into his office with a stern look on his face.
"Reports," Kayson said, getting right to the point.
Baseem took a seat across from him and took a deep breath. "You know I don't get in the next n.i.g.g.a's business, but me and you are way past business," Baseem stated then chose his words wisely.
"Don't worry about what I'll be thinking, say that s.h.i.+t," Kayson's nostrils flared as he braced himself for the information that Baseem was about to give him.
"I saw some s.h.i.+t that has me uneasy. I don't have proof of what is going on, but the s.h.i.+t don't look right," he paused. "Your wife is meeting with some n.i.g.g.a down in Georgia. I know he is into real estate, but I haven't collected enough information on this n.i.g.g.a to hold him in contempt."
"What did you see?" Kayson sat forward.
"Just picking up or dropping off, but the s.h.i.+t just looks strange. I started to confront the n.i.g.g.a, but I needed to let you handle your own house," Baseem looked into Kayson's face for confirmation.
Kayson nodded his head as he took in what Baseem had just revealed. His heart knew that KoKo would not violate his love and trust, but he also knew she would disobey and do s.h.i.+t that was questionable in order to get what she wanted.
"Thanks, I got it from here. Handel s.h.i.+t on ground level and be ready to leave town in a week. You can let yourself out," Kayson said, rising to his feet heading upstairs to where KoKo was with the children. Baseem's revelation wasn't new information. KoKo had revealed to him that she was with Boa and the dude Rock in Georgia, but he was sure she had put that s.h.i.+t in the grave along with their enemies. But obviously, she had some secrets and he was about to make her realize what holding secrets meant in his world.
Baseem immediately felt a surge of guilt as he watched Kayson leave the room. On one hand, he had a brotherhood with Kayson that he would rather die than violate. Then on the other hand, he had a brotherhood and trust with KoKo that he cherished. But at the end of the day, him and Kayson had been crossed by people that they loved and he was not going to let anything slid because on the real...even though he loved her, he would take her life before he would let her get his taken.
Adreena sat a few cars back until she saw Pete pull into a diner in Hoboken. When he jumped out and went inside she pulled into the lot and parked two cars down. Carefully she tucked her gun and moved to the entrance of the diner. Once she spotted where he was seated she requested his section. Adreena sat quietly behind him looking at a menu and waiting to ear hustle. Seconds later she looked up and saw Chucky coming that way. She lowered her gaze as he slid in the both. Their conversation began and when she realized what was going down her blood started to boil. These two n.i.g.g.as had been filtering information to Magic and plotting to have the crew hit so they could join him.
"Would you like anything ma'am?" the waitress asked standing with her pen and pad ready to go.
"I thought I did but I just got sick, can you bring me a sprit to go?" she asked rubbing her stomach.
"Right away," she took the menu and left the table.
Adreena put a twenty dollar bill on the table then moved to the door. When she got to the car she took off her jacket screwed the silencer on her gun then stepped out the vehicle and waited.
Pete and Chucky emerged from the diner picking their teeth and laughing as if they had just gotten over. When they got to their car they were alerted by the sound of a woman crying. Pete went to one side and Chucky went to the other.
Adreena was crouched down between the two cars crying and mumbling incoherently.
