Each man could feel his gaze piercing their soul; without hesitation, they began to move toward the door. With each step, the adrenaline pumped heavy in Kayson's veins. He walked through the conference room door and silence fell across the room. His eyes scanned the long, wooden table looking at each man in attendance. He became uneasy when he realized half of the faces he didn't recognize. Baseem had been working with the men and from what he could tell, n.i.g.g.as hadn't got the memo on who was the boss and who were the employees.
"I usually don't come down this m.u.t.h.af.u.c.ka over bulls.h.i.+t, but is seems like the n.i.g.g.as running the s.h.i.+t are apparently f.u.c.king up," he cut his eye around the room.
"Boss, I'll take care of it," Baseem tried to save face.
"Should have had that thought before you rang my f.u.c.king phone," Kayson said, giving him a cold stare then he turned his attention back to the table where n.i.g.g.as where sitting way too comfortable. On the right was uptown and on the left was downtown; each man had their territory, but the sides were mixing and some blood had shed; a definite offense on his team.
"Now I hear that we may have a few unhappy campers. If you got something on your heart, speak so I can get the f.u.c.k outta here," he looked around the room again.
At first silence ruled the s.p.a.ce, then Brim, the dude who ran downtown, got a little fidgety in his seat.
"I got some s.h.i.+t on my heart," Brim spoke from his reclined position.
"Is that right?" Kayson spat, moving closer to where the man stood.
"Yeah, it's right," Brim spat, looking up at Kayson like he was the butler. He leaned forward and grabbed the bottle of 1800 and poured himself a drink. Slowly, he lifted the gla.s.s to his mouth and took a sip.
"Since you came all the way down here to find out what is going on with the little people, let me school the Boss," he spat sarcastically. "We down here making s.h.i.+t happen and you sitting back collecting the profit and allowing these young disrespectful n.i.g.g.as to run their mouths and get outta hand," he wrinkled his brow.
"b.i.t.c.h n.i.g.g.a, who the f.u.c.k you talking about?" Tweet bucked up.
"Shut yo young a.s.s up; this grown folks talking, lil n.i.g.g.a," Brim spoke loud and aggressive.
"n.i.g.g.a, f.u.c.k you; you gotta give respect to get some," Tweet sat forward.
Kayson looked back and forth between the two men as the tension in the room began to heat up.
"n.i.g.g.a, say some more s.h.i.+t and I'll blow yo m.u.t.h.af.u.c.kin' head off," Brim reached toward his back.
"You ain't said s.h.i.+t," Tweet reached to his waist.
"Sit y'all b.i.t.c.h a.s.ses down!" Kayson barked. "You m.u.t.h.af.u.c.kas must be crazy," he moved a little closer to Brim.
"f.u.c.k that n.i.g.g.a," Brim rose to his feet.
"f.u.c.k me too; huh?" Kayson asked, walking up on Brim.
"I'm way pa.s.s giving a f.u.c.k; I'm in these streets. You m.u.t.h.af.u.c.kas sitting back while we on the front line. f.u.c.k that! If you can't run this s.h.i.+t, let another m.u.t.h.af.u.c.ka handle it then," Brim pounded his fist on his chest.
"You want my crown, take it!" Kayson walked up in his face and beamed deadly eyes into his soul.
"You ain't said s.h.i.+t," Brim grabbed his gun by the handle and began pulling his arm around.
Before he could get his arm all the way to the front, Kayson p.o.o.ped his a.s.s in the nose breaking it on contact. Brim's head went back as the blood poured. Kayson put his hand around Brim's throat and pushed him back into the chair. As he squeezed on his windpipe, he reached over and grabbed the bottle by the neck and began beating him in the face with it. Every time Kayson drew back the bottle, flesh tore away from his face and skull. The bottle cracked and broke at the neck and Kayson dug it into Brim's right eye, taking it right out the socket.
Kayson released his neck and let Brim's lifeless body slid to the floor. Breathing heavily, he turned to look at each member in the crew. "Does any other m.u.t.h.af.u.c.ka got some s.h.i.+t they want to put on the table?" he caught the eyes of every man in attendance. Blood dripped from his hand and sweat ran from his brow.
Tweet felt the adrenaline flowing through his body; he knew and heard many things about Kayson, but this was the first time he was able to see a real Boss.
With a smirk on his face he responded, "I got mad love for this hustle and I respect everything this organization stands for. You got my total loyalty," he stood up and saluted Kayson nodding his head in agreement. Tweet was fearless and he had a deadly team of four that loved the kill more than they loved life. Kayson had also heard a lot about Tweet, but a lot still had to be proved.
"We will see," Kayson spat back. Kayson looked around the room first connecting with Baseem then with the other men in the room. "Let me spit some hot s.h.i.+t at y'all n.i.g.g.as real quick," he threw the broken bottle with Brim's eye attached in the middle of the table. All eyes connected with the gruesome sight then looked back at Kayson. "In every business there is a Boss and then there are workers. In this m.u.t.h.af.u.c.ka, I'm the Boss and y'all work for me. I respect every sacrifice you have made to sit next to my throne. But on the level that we are on, I need n.i.g.g.as to be on point and ready to live today and die tonight. I ain't running no f.u.c.king nursery school; we got n.i.g.g.as on our a.s.s. I done had the n.i.g.g.as I eat with spit in my food, and I will not have a repeat of that s.h.i.+t. I will back you; but if you're wrong, I will cut your f.u.c.king throat," he paused. "That n.i.g.g.a right there..." he pointed at Brim's b.l.o.o.d.y body. "...his heart pumped b.i.t.c.h. If you got b.i.t.c.h in you, hang out with some p.u.s.s.y; the only b.i.t.c.h I like on my team is the one in my bed," he turned to Baseem. "This right here is your s.h.i.+t. Get this s.h.i.+t under control!" he ordered as he walked toward the door.
Baseem looked on as Kayson moved out the room.
"I've been a little too comfortable with everybody; so from this day forward, I'm in yo a.s.s. If you sneeze, I'ma bless you; it's killing season and anybody can get it. Tweet I want your team with me. The rest of you n.i.g.g.as get back to work."
Tweet jumped up and his team followed. He ran his s.h.i.+p like a well-oiled machine and wanted desperately to get buck. He had gotten the break he was looking for and he was getting ready to show the game what happens when a n.i.g.g.a's hunger is on starvation mode. "Let's make these n.i.g.g.as bow," he said to Baseem as the heat of his promotion pumped thick in his veins.
Baseem was impressed, but not fooled. He knew he needed to keep an eye on a thirsty n.i.g.g.a; but an ambitious n.i.g.g.a...he needed two eyes and gla.s.ses for one of those. Even when a n.i.g.g.a was trying to kiss your a.s.s he could still miss some s.h.i.+t, and he was not going to let anything sneak in and crumble the castle.
Kayson moved money and people around until four thirty in the morning. When he walked into the house, the quiet calmed his soul. He realized that he needed that peace and calm to survive. Kayson looked in on his children, walking into each of their rooms and kissing their forehead. He stood the longest in Malika's room; she had stolen his heart and he knew he needed to tie everything back up and get his family back out of the country.
Kayson closed the door to the baby's room and headed to the master bedroom where he knew KoKo lay waiting on him. He had to remind himself that KoKo was who she was and that sometimes the hustle in her was stronger than the one he had within himself. But the reality was her a.s.s was not in charge. He needed to set a standard in their relations.h.i.+p so there was no confusion about who had the d.i.c.k and who had the p.u.s.s.y.
Kayson walked into his bedroom allowing his eyes to roam the room. KoKo had lit the fireplace, causing her silhouette to dance on the wall behind her. His eyes settled on her vest and gun on the chair and boots by the closet door. Kayson looked over at the bed at KoKo's body with the silk sheet clinging to her frame. She had been on the hunt, but was back laying comfortably in his bed; conformation that everything she was, belonged to him. The idea of that made his d.i.c.k jump. He moved to the closet, stripped down and hit the shower.
When he entered the bedroom wrapped in a thick dark green towel, he had one mission on his mind. He needed to break KoKo's a.s.s down; he had created a monster and it was time to make her submit and follow. Kayson dropped his towel to the floor, pulled back the sheet and laid next to KoKo's body and inhaled her scent. Honey vanilla rose up in his nostrils as his hand slithered over her body. KoKo began to heat up as she felt his fingertips on her nipples and his d.i.c.k rock up between her b.u.t.t cheeks.
"I know yo a.s.s got somebody on the connect."
KoKo remained silent.
"Why I gotta keep finding s.h.i.+t out that you ain't telling me?" Kayson asked as he grinded against her.
"Baby, I'm sorry," she moaned as his hand slid between her thighs.
"Say that s.h.i.+t so I know you mean it," his warm breath caressed the nap of her neck and his soft lips followed.
"Baby, I'm sorry," she raised her voice a little as his finger traced her c.l.i.t. She opened her legs wide, giving him full access to her purring kitty.
When she was on the brink, Kayson climbed between her legs and kissed her deeply. KoKo rocked back and forth, wetting the tip of his d.i.c.k with her slippery lips.
"Let me have you, baby," she begged, gripping the back of his head as his mouth rested over her nipple sending heat through her body.
"Why you so hardheaded?" Kayson asked as he teased her throbbing hole with the tip.
"I'ma do what you say, baby," KoKo whined, pus.h.i.+ng her p.u.s.s.y to him with every movement; anxious to get him inside her.
"You gonna do what I say?" he asked as he began sliding her those inches a little at a time.
"Yesss..." KoKo moaned as he pushed through her tightness.
"You promise," he teased, pulling back to the tip then rubbing it against her erect c.l.i.t.
"Yes, I promise baby. Put it back in," she pleaded, biting into his neck.
Kayson pushed all the way in hitting the bottom, and then he bounced off her walls using her cries of pleasure to guide his push.
"Feel good, baby?" he asked, pinning her legs down while stroking her deep.
"Oh, my G.o.d, you in my spot, baby," KoKo threw the p.u.s.s.y at him causing the slid to be hot and sticky.
When Kayson heard her breathing change and felt her p.u.s.s.y lock around him, he pulled out.
"Baby what you doin'? I'm about to c.u.m," she cried out, panting and gripping his back.
"You like disobeying me. You can't do what I ask you to do. So, I can't do what you ask me to do," he peered down into her eyes. "Your p.u.s.s.y feels good as h.e.l.l; hot, wet, and tight to my fit. I wanna f.u.c.k you till you can't see straight. But never forget I taught this p.u.s.s.y to do what it do; so, you can't f.u.c.k me," he hardened his gaze with an intense crease in his brow. "And since you like doing things on your own..." his eyes roamed down her breast toward her heaving stomach. "...start with doing the rest of this on your own," he rose up on his knees, stroking his thickness in his hand. Kayson winked as he eased off the bed and stood to his feet. "I'm about to leave town; I'll catch up with you in a couple of days," he paused. "Remember, regardless to how much praise you get on these streets, I'm the Boss up in this m.u.t.h.af.u.c.ka. You better get right," he turned toward the bathroom.
KoKo sat up and crossed her arms on her chest. "This n.i.g.g.a is crazy. He got me f.u.c.ked up," she got off the bed and followed him into the bathroom. "Is this how we doin' this s.h.i.+t?"
Kayson turned toward her staring into her eyes as he ran the soapy cloth over the length of his d.i.c.k. KoKo put her hands to the side and tilted her head waiting for an answer. Kayson rinsed his skin, and then turned off the water.
"The conversation was over when I left the room. Go get yourself some rest," he moved his naked body past her, heading to the closet to get dressed.
KoKo stood in place, ready to go in; but she knew the fire was already hot. She dared not make Kayson explode. It panged her heart that she had caused doubt to creep into her husband's mind. She stood there hating that now there was a tear in their trust.
"If you need me, call the emergency phone. Other than that, start cleaning yo s.h.i.+t up," he moved out with a black back pack on his shoulder.
The Boss had had his say, but Miss KoKo was infamous about disobeying. But with the s.h.i.+t he just pulled, the thought of getting even pushed logic to the back of her mind. And she knew just how to do it.
"s.h.i.+t!" Magic yelled out throwing his mug against the wall. "How the f.u.c.k does this n.i.g.g.a have both connects in his pocket?" Magic asked Leger as he tried to calm himself down.
"I have been tapping all my sources and n.o.body won't deliver without Kayson's permission." Ledger reported.
"This s.h.i.+t is crazy. First this n.i.g.g.a gonna push our a.s.s in a f.u.c.kin' corner, then he gonna tie a knot in production. I gotta do something about this s.h.i.+t, he f.u.c.kin' with my money," he said as he sat hard in his chair.
Ledger ran off a few more facts about the crew and they went back and forth about how to slow Kayson and his team down.
Breonni tipped away from the door and down the hall back to Magic's bedroom and closed the door. She hurried to her cell phone, ran into the bathroom locked the door and cut on the shower. She crouched in a corner and called KoKo.
"h.e.l.lo."
"Hey, it's confirmed they have been cut off," Breonni stated lowly.
"Are you sure?"
"More than sure, and the Boss needs to watch out they are plotting some s.h.i.+t. I will fill you in when I see you."
"Okay, get up outta there. Call me when you leave his house,"
"Got you." she hung up adjusted her call log and jumped in the shower. She needed to get away from there as soon as possible.
Chapter 27.
Breaking the Boundaries Baseem's mind raced on his way to Goldie's apartment. Again she had been out of touch and he needed to check on her and the baby. He had called several times and when his calls kept going to the voicemail, he jumped in his car and headed to her house. When he pulled up and saw her car had not moved he became uneasy. Baseem pulled out his heat that was tucked in his waistband then exited the vehicle. As he moved to the front door of her apartment building, he was praying hard to the G.o.ds for everything to be okay.
"Good evening, Mr. B," the night receptionist said from his desk.
"Good evening, Brian. Has Miss Brooks been out of her apartment today?"
"Ah no, sir," he thumbed the log pages. "In fact, she has not been out in two days, sir," his slight British accent returned the information.
"Let me have the spare key," he put his hand out, not waiting for a response.
Brian saw the silver tip of his gun and the slight fear in Baseem's eyes and knew he was not trying to hear about policy and formalities. He reached over into the drawer and handed Baseem the key.
"Thank you. If I don't call down here in ten minutes, you know what to do," Baseem said as she continued to the elevator.
When he exited, he drew his weapon and moved stealth down the opposite wall; carefully training his ear toward her apartment. Baseem took a breath, slowly turned the lock, and eased the door open an inch at a time.
His eyes darted through the crack for any figures or moment. It was pitch black and the only sound was the one from the living room television. He eased a little further until his body was completely inside, then he closed the door gently.
Moving from one room to another, he kept his gun drawn for any surprises. When Baseem got to the baby's room, his heart sank when he didn't see him in his crib. He looked down the hall at Goldie's door and his chest got tight. I can't do this, the voice rang loud in his head as he moved toward her bedroom. Baseem's breathing quickened as he turned the k.n.o.b.
Once the door was open, his eyes did flips around the room trying to identify every inch. The bed was tattered and there were cups and tissue and trash throughout the room. He tipped to the bathroom and when he saw Goldie's body spread out on the floor his legs got weak.
"Oh s.h.i.+t, Goldie," he moved to her side and shook her shoulder.
Goldie's eyes fluttered open and a look of relief brought a slight amount of color to her face.
"What happened, ma?" he asked, looking over her body for wounds or injuries.
"I'm f.u.c.ked up," she slurred.
"Where is the baby? How long have you been laying here?" he asked, pulling out his cell. "h.e.l.lo, yeah...she's here, I'm straight. I will call back down there in a minute," he said to Brian and then disconnected the call.
Baseem turned her over on her back and looked her over again. "What's wrong?"
"I'm sick I couldn't move," she said, putting her head back and closing her eyes.
"Where is the baby?' Baseem repeated.
"With Mariam."
"Why you ain't answer the phone?" he asked, feeling her forehead.
"It died, I can't find my charger."
