"Just trying to wrap my mind around all this s.h.i.+t we into," Baseem slurred.
"This s.h.i.+t is about to be over. We just need a few more days," Kayson said then headed to the bar for a gla.s.s. He returned, filled his gla.s.s to the top and took a seat.
"We got hit uptown and downtown, we have a few men down. But, I got people on it no worries. I just needed to sit the f.u.c.k down and remember what we are doing this for," he took the gla.s.s to his lips.
"And?"
"They found Pete and Chucky in Hoboken."
"Yeah, they was living foul. I had some people on that. They say some b.i.t.c.h hit them." Kayson stated smoothly.
"Where was your wife last night?" Baseem asked raising his brow.
"You never know. Her a.s.s be in the shadows laying n.i.g.g.as down." Kayson said taking his shot to the head.
"I got Tweet and his crew looking into it. I told everybody to be cool until we can get a handle on this s.h.i.+t. We got to much money at risk."
"Okay keep me informed." Kayson paused to gage his mood. "What else is on your mind?" Kayson asked taking his drink down and poring another.
"I f.u.c.ked around and caught that s.h.i.+t from you," Baseem said then reached over and grabbed his blunt and lit it up.
"What the f.u.c.k you talking about?" Kayson asked raising his brow.
"That love s.h.i.+t." He shook as he said it.
"Oh s.h.i.+t, not you. Let me find out Mr. f.u.c.k that b.i.t.c.h, done caught a feeling or two. Which one is it this time?" he laughed.
Baseem again shook his head. "Goldie."
"n.i.g.g.a you going to h.e.l.l," Kayson joked.
"I know I been f.u.c.ked up about that s.h.i.+t. You know Night is my brother, that s.h.i.+t just happened," Baseem spilled his guts as if he was sitting in confessional.
"Which part, the you just so happened to fall in her p.u.s.s.y part, or you just so happened to fall in love part?" Kayson continued to f.u.c.k with him.
"Man f.u.c.k you," Baseem slurred.
"Nah, on the real. It's all good. I know my brother, he would want his son to have a good father and he d.a.m.n sure wouldn't want no duck a.s.s n.i.g.g.a hitting his p.u.s.s.y in his absence," Kayson tried to lighten his mood. "You got my blessings. Just don't hurt her."
"I got you." Baseem knocked fist with Kayson.
"What about Corporate America?"
"Me and little mama cool but she ain't the one." He pulled thick smoke into his lungs and blew it in the air.
"That's good to hear, cause KoKo sent that p.u.s.s.y after you," Kayson said then sat back.
Baseem dropped his smile. "Get the f.u.c.k outta here."
Kayson shrugged his shoulders. "She had to make sure you was straight."
"n.i.g.g.a you serious?"
"Don't even sweat that s.h.i.+t. KoKo hooked yo a.s.s up," he chuckled "That's f.u.c.ked up, but thank her for me." He lifted his gla.s.s into the air. "I owe her a.s.s." He continued then swallowed the rest of his drink and refilled his gla.s.s.
"Boooyy... I done lived to see the day this m.u.t.h.af.u.c.ka done fell in love," Kayson burst into laughter. "I told yo punk a.s.s."
"I know that s.h.i.+t had me depressed at first. I didn't know whether use a bullet or poison."
They both laughed hard at the visual.
"You got that s.h.i.+t. You'll be straight. I don't have any advice for you thou, you know KoKo be driving my a.s.s f.u.c.kin' crazy. All I can say is good luck n.i.g.g.a."
"That's f.u.c.ked up." Baseem just put his head down and chuckled.
Kayson and Baseem sat for the next hour joking back and forth then silence fell over the room. They had both retreated into their thoughts and then Baseem spoke. "Every day we touch something that threatens to take the lives of the people we love."
Kayson took a few swigs and tossed some thoughts around of his own. "We have been marching for a long time and we are at the end of a long a.s.s journey. Just a few more days Bas. Just a few more days." He took one last gulp.
"I'm marching with you until the last m.u.t.h.af.u.c.ka is dead." Baseem nodded taking the rest of his drink to the head.
"I already know," Kayson confirmed Baseem's loyalty.
They finished their drinks then cleaned up and headed for the door.
"So what do we do with this n.i.g.g.a Magic?"
"Oh, I got some s.h.i.+t planned for him. He is going to curse the day his grandmother was born by the time we get done with him."
As Kayson drove through the unforgiving streets of the city thinking about being fifteen years old and full of life hopping from one train to the next, running the city with an unseen hand a smile came over his face. In those days war was fun, you could set one strong example and everyone else would fall in line. But today, you had to kill half of a man's family in order to get him to bend. Kayson was losing good men that trusted him with their lives, and bringing their wives and families stacks of crisp hundred dollar bills and his condolences wasn't enough to erase their pain.
Kayson walked into his bas.e.m.e.nt and looked around the room with a heavy heart. As his eyes wondered over each area, a flood of memories took over his mind. Many nights he had stood in that room with men he loved and trusted; and now each one of them were only a memory of the men that once were his right hand and confidants. Kayson pulled his s.h.i.+rt over his head and removed his boots. He walked to the bar and poured himself a drink then took a seat on the deep red sofa. He grabbed the remote and turned on the satellite radio.
His mind was heavy and his heart panged with the idea that he and his wife were now as close as strangers. Kayson had sacrificed so much and lost so many in his quest to clean the blood off of his name and keep his family safe. His thoughts always went to, Was it all for nothing? He had a wife he could no longer communicate with, which threatened the very fiber of his family and weakened the reason for which he breathed each breath.
Kayson took a few sips of his drink, sat it on the coffee table, then put his head back and closed his eyes. His soul needed peace and there was no way to go forward without having his home in order.
KoKo had sat up in the bed and listened intently when she heard the alarm being reset. She grabbed her gun and moved to the monitors. When she saw Kayson seated on the coach in the bas.e.m.e.nt, relief took over her mood. She put her gun back in place, threw on her white silk robe, tied the belt in a bow and headed to where he rested.
When KoKo walked off the elevator, she knew what needed to happen. Her pride had destroyed some of the love in her marriage and she was tired. Her soul had taken all it could bear, and it was time for her to set herself free.
Kayson opened his eyes and lifted his head to see KoKo standing in the doorway with her arms folded over her chest. He sat up and just stared into her pretty brown eyes. There was only a few feet between them, but it felt as if they were worlds apart.
"I don't want to fight with you anymore, baby," KoKo said a little over a whisper as tears weld up in her eyes.
"Come here," he commanded.
KoKo paused for a moment then walked over and took a seat next to Kayson on the couch. She lowered her gaze to the floor. Playing with different ways to speak her thoughts, she finally decided to just let it flow easily.
"Every day I wake up with regret and each time I look over to where you used to lay, my heart aches knowing that my pride, ego and need for power and revenge is the reason why I am without your touch," she paused to wipe the tears that had forced their way down her face.
"I know I am head strong and I move on impulse, but I promise you at no time did I ever risk the virtue of our friends.h.i.+p or our marriage," she placed a hand on his leg.
"I agree, I should have never continued to see Rock after you came home. But this burning in my belly to see every person involved in the death of my parents suffer consumes me; but I cannot let it make me lose you," she looked up into his eyes.
Kayson allowed her words to sink into both of their spirits before he carefully chose what to say next.
"First, let me say this...loosing me is not an option; but losing yourself is what you will regret forever," he took her hand into his and gently kissed it. "Baby, I understand your pain and I wish I could carry every demon for you. But if we both destroy our souls, what will we have left and what will we give our children?" he asked, placing his hand under her chin. "You gotta let me handle this from here forward."
KoKo nodded her head up and down as she agreed to allow him to lead. As soon as her mind accepted the change of power, she began to feel light, as if her burdens were all lifted. Kayson leaned in and placed his lips on hers; the salt from her tears seeped into his mouth as his tongue parted her lips. KoKo tilted her head as his mouth and hands began to take control of her every thought. Kayson eased her legs apart and slid his fingers deep inside her. KoKo let out a soft moan as he began to pleasure her spot.
"Baby, let me fix us," Kayson's warm breath nuzzled behind her ear sending chills down her spine.
"I'm ready to submit to your power. I don't want to lose what we have," she moaned as the reality of what happened caused a pain in her chest. She needed relief. She needed to feel that heat between her thighs that only the Boss could ignite. As if Kayson could read her mind, he leaned in and placed his mouth over her right nipple and gently tickled it with the tip of his tongue. His warm, soft lips and tongue caressed her nipples until her p.u.s.s.y lips became slippery.
"Kaayyy..." she whined, gripping the back of his head and neck. "Baby, I need you," she panted.
"You need me, baby?" he asked, again placing his lips on hers and easing between her thighs. "Release the Enforcer," he mumbled, biting and nibbling on her lips and chin.
KoKo caressed his steel, enjoying every inch before pulling open his zipper, taking it into her hand, and stroking him slow and firm. She eased his jeans and boxers off his a.s.s and slid them down his legs with her feet. When Kayson bit into her neck, KoKo dug her fingertips into his back releasing his heat. Kayson positioned the Enforcer at her moist opening and let just the head get a taste of her nectar.
"Let me make love to your heart," he stared into her eyes. "I need to feel inside you, baby. Let daddy fix your soul," he began pus.h.i.+ng into her tightness. Kayson wanted to go slow and give a little at a time, but he only found satisfaction when he hit bottom. Being serenaded by Marsha Ambrosius set the tone of the physical conversation.
Gonna be a late night, early morning when I get you home. Gonna give you good love, give you what you want and, gonna do it all night long. Baby, let me do you all night long.
"Kaaay...make your p.u.s.s.y obey," she begged, moving with precision with every long deep stroke.
"This p.u.s.s.y is obeying daddy right now. Look how she drips with my every push," he settled in a push up position and gave each wall diagonal pressure, causing her p.u.s.s.y to soak his thickness.
Slippery wet whispers formed from the heat between the lips of her eager flower, filling the room as he played with his favorite spot deep in her core.
"f.u.c.k me, Kay," she demanded him to be deeper and he complied to her every cry.
Kayson rose up on his knees, pulling only her waist to him. KoKo rocked her hips to the rhythm of pull and push.
"Look at daddy's baby; get that d.i.c.k," Kayson fixed his eyes on the divide of her juicy lips every time he brought her waist down on his d.i.c.k.
"Get you p.u.s.s.y, baby," she continued to ride.
"You want me to get it, baby," he squeezed her tightly and slid in and out with precision; not missing any angle.
"Baby, you gonna make your p.u.s.s.y c.u.m," she cried, watching the sweat run down his chest as his muscles flexed as he performed the wicked pleasure she craved.
"c.u.m for me, baby. c.u.m for the Boss; let me have it, baby."
KoKo gripped his wrist as her waist moved faster with every wave.
"Get it, baby," Kayson pounded the spot causing her to bite her lip and dig her fingers deeper into his skin.
Kayson looked into her face. KoKo's eyes were closed tight, while trying to tame the intense o.r.g.a.s.m that was building to its height. However, he needed them open. He needed her to let him all the way in.
"Open your eyes," he commanded.
KoKo slightly raised her lids to see him peering down at her with more intensity than she could handle. She wanted to close them, but the fire behind the hazel took control of her ability to look away.
"Look at me," he started his last lesson, he needed to teach her. "You belong me; all your dreams, all your nightmares...let me have em', baby. Release your demons, Ce'Asia. Let me have everything. Give me your hate and give me your love," his deep, rasp moved in her chest while he held their gaze.
Her body began to shake and move against him as he took over her spot and gave it what it needed. Tears flowed from the sides of her eyes as she released months of pain and regret fueled their movements; they consumed each other's every breath and every emotion. In those seconds of flesh to flesh and heat to heat, KoKo finally tapped into the peace her soul had been longing for.
"Uh huh," he mumbled, pulling her faster, intensifying every nerve in her body.
"Let that s.h.i.+t go, baby. Let it all go. Release it, baby. Let me have every part you."
Feelings of intense relief moved from the tips of her toes to the head of her c.l.i.t. Surges of energy moved in her stomach, pus.h.i.+ng loud grunts from her lips right before she lost the ability to speak. She glared into his hungry eyes and released to him her center, her inner conflict and in return, he released the essence of life deep inside her womb.
KoKo held on and rode until only her legs shook as her body went slightly limp. Kayson pushed deep inside her and held her in place as she squeezed him tightly between her thighs.
"I love you, baby," he said, leaning in; ready to go quench his thirst.
"I love you more; thank you, baby. I got your back," she said, kissing his lips.
"I know," he kissed her deep and then dug deeper. "Remind daddy why he fell in love with you," Kayson spoke into her ear as his d.i.c.k came back to full attention; growing between her walls.
KoKo moaned as he filled her up. "I know what the Boss likes," she struggled to take in the air between his steamy wet kisses. Filled with unbridle pa.s.sion, she moved with a slight wildness beneath him. Sweat, tears and flames sparked between them as they both closed their eyes tight and let the love and l.u.s.t exchanging back and forth take over every movement and emotion.
Tonight he was feeling all her womanhood; KoKo was ready to surrender and he gave her every reason to let go. Vows were made, but that night they had actually sealed their love and their bond.
Chapter 32.
A Wells Man KoKo and Kayson spent the rest of the weekend speaking the words that had gotten missed early in their relations.h.i.+p. The love that they shared was undeniable; but their physical connection most times overshadowed the opportunities they needed to bridge the gaps in their heart between one pain and the next. Both of them carried dark secrets and hatreds that threatened to destroy them, but this time, Kayson would get to release some of the burden on his spirit.
KoKo laid in Kayson's arms listening to his heartbeat and he told her his story. First, touching on a subject that had become taboo in the Wells' house, but he needed to clean his mind of some demons.
"Ever since I could sit up straight, my mother would always pump into my head, You're a Wells man, and there is no man greater than you." he paused as he summoned his mother's voice.
KoKo rubbed his chest and listened attentively as he released to her his anguish.
"I never really knew what that meant until I looked my father in his cold eyes and the reflection of deadly power stared back at me. I was around eighteen years old and he came to visit me at a spot I used to have meetings at up in the Bronx. Aldeen and I were chopping it up when he walked through the door and everything inside me changed.
"What the f.u.c.k is wrong with you?" Aldeen asked, turning slightly to see what had instantly changed Kayson's mood.
