"Do I need a reason to come see my sister?" he asked.

His arms were folded across his chest, and he looked dangerous, but then he was.

"I don't know. You tell me what has changed?" She chanced a look at him, and hoped he didn't see that her heart was racing.

"I'm making all kinds of mistakes with you, aren't I?" He moved away from the door, stepping into the room.

"I don't know what kind of mistakes you're talking about."

"I remember when you were five, and you were trying to ride your bike. Dad, he was busy with the club, and Mom was constantly on the phone to him. I was off doing my own s.h.i.+t. You were alone, and I remember coming home from prospecting for the club, and it was getting dark. You were still on your bike. You refused to wear a helmet as they were all too big for you." He started smiling. "Your knee was bleeding for falling off the bike, your cheek was bruised, but you just kept on getting back on your bike, riding up and down the path outside of our house."

She remembered that day. Their mother had refused to help her, Dad was never at home, and Saint was already prospecting at the club. She'd been determined that no matter what she was going to be able to ride her bike by the end of the day. At first she got a few inches, and she'd fall off. Elena had stood up, brushed the dirt off, climbed back on her bike, and started riding again. Nothing would stop her from learning to ride that d.a.m.n bike.

"I remember watching, and feeling so much guilt. Dad helped me ride a bike, and you were on your own. I made a promise to myself that whenever you needed someone, I'd be there, and I've f.u.c.ked that up, haven't I?"

"I really don't know what you want me to say."

"Exactly. After that day, you were always by my side. I'd take you to school, we'd fist b.u.mp, and they'd all leave you alone."

"Saint's little sister. No one would mess with me." She remembered how special she felt every time he took her to school.

"Then Mom decided to be f.u.c.king crazy, and take you away. Dad and I, we were so f.u.c.king lost without you. We kept calling Mom, and she told us that you were curled in bed, sobbing, that you couldn't stand to be near us."

That made Elena look up. "What?"

"Yeah, Mom told us that you'd been begging to leave. You realized what the club was like, and that you were disgusted with who you were related to."

"That's not true!" d.a.m.n, her mother had been lying at every single turn, and it only made her even angrier. She'd pulled her away from her family, not just her father and Saint, but also from the club. Elena had wanted to be part of the club for so long.

"What?"

"That's not what happened at all. I came home, and Mom had packed everything up saying we had to leave, that you kicked us out of our house. Not only that, she said that I wasn't allowed around the club anymore. You were bad men, and bad men couldn't be around girls like me."

She saw Saint frown. "Dad didn't kick Mom out. He missed you, Elena. f.u.c.k, I missed you."

"I never wanted to be with Mom. Never, and none of you tried to come and get me. None of you knew what she was like. She was crazy!" She pressed a hand over her mouth, and took a step away. Everything that had happened had been because of her mother's lies. The distance between them was because of their selfish mother.

"What are you trying to say? Did Mom ... hurt you?"

She froze, and stared at him. "Why are you here?"

"Why are you always trying to hide? Why are you always trying to lock me out?"

Elena couldn't do this right now, not with Saint. After his revelation, she felt exposed, open, raw. She went to move around him, but he caught her arm.

"You're not leaving." He moved toward the door, and slammed it shut, pressing the lock in place. She was trapped with him, alone in their warehouse, and it scared her. Elena had done everything to avoid being alone with him.

"Who came with you?"

"Ralf is having a private conversation with Sarah, and they're not going to be disturbed."

"This is not fair. Sarah doesn't want to talk to him."

He still held her arm, and he guided her toward a chair.

"Stop avoiding me. I'm not going to do this anymore. I lost you for long enough. I'm not going to lose you anymore."

"Don't ask me things you don't want to know."

"I want to know what happened to you. I want you to f.u.c.king talk to me!"

"I'm not some b.i.t.c.h at your club you can boss around." She yelled right back at him. Elena didn't belong to his club, and there was no place for her either, not if she wanted to be with Pipe.

"I want to know what's going on. Where has my sister gone? What have you f.u.c.king done with her?"

"She was gone a long f.u.c.king time ago. I'm not that same girl anymore, Saint. I'm not some doting young little girl. I'm never going to be that girl anymore."

"What did Mom do? You cut me off, and I'm tired of fighting this s.h.i.+t out with you, Elena. Tell me."

"You want to know? You really want to know? This is what she f.u.c.king did to me."

"The fight is going well," Shawl said. "Saint has three Prospects that are fighting tonight. The schedule didn't include him last night."

Pipe nodded. He stared at the numbers for the fights that were won last night. His own Prospects had done well, and brought in some serious dough. That would be distributed among the brothers, and the men would get a cut themselves. Pipe always made sure everything was handled equally.

"Do we know the three Prospects coming tonight?" Pipe asked.

"Francis, Gunner, and Jewel."

"He's bringing women?"

"They're all men. Jewel was a fighter back in high school, earned a bit of a reputation for himself. He blew out his knee, and his scholars.h.i.+p was taken from him. From what information I've gotten, he's being schooled by the club, and once he's proven himself, he'll be patched in," Shawl said.

Pipe could see Saint helping a guy out. "Are any of his boys fighting our men?"

"No. I figured for relations, we'll keep each other as far away as possible."

"Sounds right. I don't want any h.e.l.l's Wolves against the Saints and Sinners MC."

"Does this have anything to do with a certain sister?"

"Knife tell you?"

"I saw Elena's name on your cell phone. This is going to end badly."

"It's not going to end at all, okay."

"Do you even know what you're doing with her?" Shawl asked.

"When you met your wife, did you just know that she was going to change you? Could you walk away from her once you got to know her."

"I was with my wife nearly a year before I knew."

"Did you leave her at any time? Walk away?"

Shawl's jaw clenched. "No, I didn't, and I couldn't just walk away."

"Elena completes me, Shawl. I'm not going to put the club at risk. I want to see where this goes."

His cell phone buzzed, and he glanced down to find a text from Elena.

Elena: I need to see you!

"I've got to take this. You good here? Do you need me?"

"No. Everything is good here. Be careful."

Pipe walked toward his bike, texting the address to his place out in the sticks. It was a cabin that was on the outskirts of the forest. He kept it a secret, and it was his safe place. Pipe had no doubt that Saint had a safe-house as well.

Even though the club ran through their veins, there were moments when they needed to be away from the club in order to make the right decisions.

Once he received the text that she was on her way, he straddled his bike, and rode all the way to his cabin. He didn't break any laws, and he got there before her. Pipe made his way inside, flicking on lights, and checking to make sure he had some food in the fridge. He came out to the cabin every other day, keeping a constant supply of food. Pipe also checked to make sure that nothing had taken up residence inside his home. He f.u.c.king hated it if a racc.o.o.n had gotten in, or a possum.

Maybe he should invest in a dog. The problem was he hated vicious dogs, and he could just imagine the jokes the boys would make if he came home with a Labrador. He didn't like the image that a biker was supposed to have.

Dogs were f.u.c.king dangerous, and he'd never spend his time with an animal that could kill with a single bite.

It made him feel like a p.u.s.s.y, as he loved the Labrador or the Pomeranian. His club wouldn't let him hear the end of it if he got one of those kinds of dogs. When he heard the sound of a car approaching, he moved toward the door, and watched as Elena rushed toward the house. He was worried that she wasn't going to stop when the brakes squeaked.

"Elena?" he asked.

He saw her eyes were watering, and she didn't speak, rounding the car, and throwing herself into his arms.

Pipe held her tightly, easing her into his home. Closing the door, he stroked her hair, and he was f.u.c.king terrified.

"Baby, are you okay?" he asked. "You've got to talk to me, as otherwise I'm calling your brother to find out what the f.u.c.k is going on."

He didn't like the way she was sobbing. She was clinging to him, which he liked, but it was for all the wrong reasons.

"Talk to me."

"I just need you to make the world stop, and to hold me." She rubbed her cheek against his leather jacket. "Just hold me. Make everything okay, just for a second."

They stood together in his cabin home, holding her tightly.

Seconds pa.s.sed, as did minutes, until the tears started to ebb away. He stroked her blonde hair, humming to her as he did.

"This is your place?" she asked.

"You finally noticed?"

She nodded. "It's a nice place." She lifted her head up, wiping away her tears.

"What happened?"

She shook her head, and released a sigh. "Have you ever had a moment when you realized that you were living a lie? Everything you thought you knew wasn't what you really knew?"

"I think so."

"Saint came to see me today at the shop. He wanted to talk, and we started yelling at each other." She ran a hand down her face, which was clear of makeup. It was another reason he enjoyed being with her. She didn't cover her face with cosmetics. Everything about her was pure, and natural.

The club wh.o.r.es had been his world for so long that he'd forgotten how d.a.m.n good it can be to be with a real woman. Elena was all woman. He couldn't pick a favorite part of her. Her t.i.ts were large, and he loved watching them bounce as he f.u.c.ked her. He loved how her thighs felt wrapped around his waist as he drove into her. There was nothing wrong with her fuller curves, as he had plans for her delectable body.

"I showed him my scars. It's crazy I've kept them hidden for so d.a.m.n long, and now I've shared them with two people."

He cupped her cheek. "You don't have to hide from me."

"When my mom took me she told me it was because the club wasn't a place for me, and that my father loved my brother more."

"It wasn't the truth?"

"No. It was lies. She told Saint and my father that I couldn't stand to be with them. I lost my real family because my mother was so f.u.c.king crazy. Saint, he knows the truth about the past. He wants to try again to get to know each other." She took a breath, taking hold of his hands. "I-I couldn't stay. I needed to get out of there. It felt too tight, and the only person I thought of was you."

He liked that. He liked that a h.e.l.l of a lot.

"You can call me anytime you want, babe. This place, you can come here anytime." He moved toward the kitchen, reaching into the tea jar. Who drank tea? He took out one of his spare keys and handed it to her. "Whenever you need to get away, come here. Send me a text, and I'll know you're here. It's safe. No one who will hurt you knows about it."

She held onto the key tightly. "You're going to trust me with this?"

"I'm trusting you with a lot more."

Elena frowned at him. "I really appreciate this." She wrapped her arms around him, holding him close.

He stroked her back, reaching down to grip her a.s.s. She let out a moan, and he groaned. "I f.u.c.king love this a.s.s. How sore are you?"

"Not too sore. I want you, Pipe."

"Let me show you to my bedroom."

Elena started tugging at his jacket, pus.h.i.+ng it off his shoulders until it fell to the floor. He grabbed her s.h.i.+rt, and tore it in two. She looked so d.a.m.n beautiful, and he wanted her naked. Pipe hadn't used a condom this morning when he'd f.u.c.ked her, but he'd not wanted to break the spell that had settled between the two of them. Part of him wanted her to get pregnant so that he had more of a claim over her. If she was pregnant, he'd be able to settle matters more smoothly with Saint. Without her being pregnant, it would be a fight to the death.

"I've been thinking about you all day," she said, startling him.

"I've not stopped thinking about you. Not even for a second." He tugged her bra off, and he ended up snapping the fabric in two. The object offended him, and he threw it away from him. "From now on, you better come without any underwear on." He cupped her t.i.ts pressing them together, thumbing her nipples. "I'm going to f.u.c.k these, beautiful, and have my c.u.m dripping down between them."

In response she moaned, and he knew he'd been right. There was a part of Elena that wanted to get downright dirty. He would unleash her pa.s.sion, and awaken her for his pleasure alone.
